Where it is extremely successful is that Apple got one into the hands of all the app, developers, and instead of just making it for the developers, opened it up to a small user pool of enthusiast to test and give feedback on the apps as well as the operating system. If you look at Apple vision as a developer kit, it is a resounding success. Also, I have one, I do not travel, and I absolutely love it. But recognize it really is not for everyone.
