Thank you for sharing!! I just recently started a bird bath made out of Hypertufa and have been wracking my brain as to what I was going to use for a base, well, Mi Lady, you just made up my mind for me. I have lots of pots and I’m going to make the base for it with them. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Hello and oh my goodness I’m thrilled!! That’s actually one of my videos coming up however not with hypertufa! Awesome awesome awesomeness👏I would love to see what you made if ever you have a moment to to tag me IG @marcieziv. Thank you for watching my channel! So appreciated.❤️
This looks so good! I’m definitely going to try it, but on a much smaller pot to begin with. I like the idea of going outside and finding vegetation that would look good used like this. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Hello and thank you Tamara! Yes starting on a smaller scale is good… work out the kinks and feel comfortable with the materials. Would love to see what you create! Tag me in my IG @marcieziv😊appreciate you watching my channel!
Thank you for the inspiration. Beautiful pot. Can you paint it? What kind of paint? Should it be sealed with something after painting? I want to make 2 to go outdoors in opposite sides of my garage door.
Hello Carol! Yes you could paint it absolutely… you could use spray paint, or a good latex for outdoor utilization. ( like a good exterior house paint) or use acrylic paints like liquitex where you’d have many standard colors to choose from. Coating it with a modgepodge outdoor sealer. You could also use rustoleum enamels and spray a clear coat. There are also urethane sealers ( like the clear oat on your car) Many options. Would love to see what your finished pieces look like! Will look stunning flanking your garage door!😊
Hello! In my winter it will hold up great. In knee deep snow …no data for this. I do know they the materials I used to construct this are weather permanent. The unknowns are; expansion and contraction of plastic even tho we used the Flexbond thinset. BUT don’t panic. I am making a smaller one and bringing it to Chicago and leaving it thru the winter. THEN I will update you. Thank you for watching my channel and for leaving a great comment. Good for everyone to see☺️
