Talon Grips Glock 19 Custom Install

Choosing between granulate and rubber texture for Talon Grips can be a tough decision for Everyday Carry (EDC), but why not have the best of both? Here I demonstrate how to install the granulate grip onto my Glock 19 and then sand the part of the grip that would be rubbing against your skin during carry from your holster.

Probably better to sand it smooth on a flat surface before you apply it on your firearm to avoid scratching the gun.

Great review ! Though I love the granulated grips .... I was concerned about the grip rubbing against my belly during concealed carry UNTIL ...... I watched your video where you took the edge off just a little with the sandpaper .... and problem solved ! Thank You !

What generation Glock do you have? Looks like a Gen 3 but your slide is way darker in color than mine but could just be the lighting and camera.

Will this work on a gen 5?? I like how the grip for the gen 4 looks better than the grip for gen 5. But i just figured it would work the same just wouldn't have finger grooves on it??

Stephen Hernandez because I still prefer having a better grip with more friction. I simply sanded down a small portion that rubs against my skin.

I have the rubber Talon grip on my Glock 26 Gen 5 but it's slippery. What I did is cut only the back strap and front out so I have the original grip from Glock. Check out a glimpse of my Glock on my channel. It's helping a little better but I don't like the feel of the Glock tiny bumps. I am thinking to order the granulate type and customize it to be added for the back strap and front grip or do what you just showed. Good vid and tips! Got yourself a new sub

If you feel like your gun needs better grip then these are great. I carry a P365X now without it because my grip is fine.

@@werunguns I was going to get laser stippling and after watching a few videos they give bad feed back on it and it isn’t cheap so I keep seeing people use these talon grips so I’m think it’s a no brainer specially at the price point just wanted to see how it works long term
