I have every single e/s and 3 of the blushes mentioned. Total must have's & staples, the shadows are what every Mac enthusiast has in their palettes. I remember depotting some of these before they sold in pans!
Hi love your Mac products, can you please please do a tutorial on the eyeshadows that you’ve shown in your video looking forward to seeing it soon thank you
I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel (several months now); however, I am going back to watch some of the "oldies." I forgot how much I loved Mac eyeshadows and blushes and wore them for years. They still hold up! I have a lot of the colors you mention. One blush you did not mention was Harmony - this was my go-to fav for a long time. I just may need to restock some of these in my palette (which I still have from ages ago). Great tutorial!
Great video I like how you mention how you use it for example as a transition shade...with the discontinued ones is there anything comparable shades current you’d recommend.
I watched this last week but forgot to come back and leave a comment, but I LOVED this video! Even though I don’t buy much from MAC anymore either, they were the first high end makeup I ever bought so they are very sentimental to me! My sister worked for MAC back then and some of her recommendations and my favorites too were Ricepaper, woodwinked and Satin Taupe as well as Margin blush (which I still use often)❤️ This was a fun one! Thanks Lisa!
Thank you so much!!! I love all the info on where, how and who you would put the MAC products on!! Is there any way you could do a tutorial or talk on colors on the eyes and face for us silver hair ladies?
I’ve used Vanilla, Satin Taupe and Mystery since I visited my first MAC counter while on business in Atlanta in 1995. 🙂 I still have my original blending brush and flat brush too! MAC brushes last forever. Back then, they were made in France.
This is such an educational video. I have a lot of these shadows but was not sure which shades to use where and for what. Of anyone else on YT I have learned more from you. You are very easy to listen to. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. Happy Mother's Day, Lisa.
Hi Lisa, I was looking up a Mac colour and came back to watch your video again and the look you’re wearing is just stunning!! Could you maybe do a tutorial on what you’re wearing pleeease?! ☺️ Beautiful contrast dark/light pinkish peachy eye shadows, blush and gorgeous lip colour. Thanks friend!! xoxo 😘
I love seeing palettes that are our own !! It is so much more personal ya know ? I always enjoy watching you. You are so kind and sweet and pretty. I love the Colors you have. Looks like what I have mine are combos from different companies.
Great video Lisa! I very much enjoyed seeing your favorite MAC eyeshadows. I have a few of the ones you mentioned. They have so many pretty ones!😀 Happy Mother’s Day!
That was fun :) I have only a few Mac shadows these days, but I was surprised how many of those I actually owned once upon a time. Shale is a favorite! TFS!
I love MAC products. I really started to get more serious about MAC products after the makeup artist used them on me for my wedding. I just love everything and I have so many MAC products now. I have the Satin Taupe and I really love it.
I have so many eyeshadow palettes now thanks to being influenced by UA-cam. I feel the same about the MAC shades though, they excite you! The quality is just so good. Every time I come back to them, I wonder why I ever bought anything else! Shale is an old school favorite for me for sure. Bought woodwinked based on Kathleen Lights recommendation awhile back! What is a good crease shade to pair with it? My favorite crease or transition shade for my skin tone is soft brown but listening to you now I’m interested to learn how to know which crease shades and tones match the lid color best. Never thought it mattered but some are warmer and cooler so makes sense!
This was great! The only one of my favorites that you didn’t cover was Malt, which is my holy grail MAC transition. I am going to buy Peaches. I haven’t tried their sheer blushes. Thanks.
This was a neat idea for a video! I loved the blush portion the most! Do you think you can do your favorite MAC lipsticks and lip liners from the kit also? Thanks for the video! I hope you’re feeling better!
I love MAC shadows and blushes. Favorite blush of all time is Warm Soul. I have several of the shadows you mentioned, but two other favorites are Wedge for daytime crease color and Orb with matches my skin tone pretty well. I tend to use it under the brow during the day and as an “oops” to help erase anything that needs it. I would LOVE for you to do more tutorials and reviews with MAC! Another request is for mature skin that is fair/light and dry. Especially for concealer and foundation. Thanks!
Hi Lisa, do you have the MAC burgundy x9 palette? My sweet daughter gave me one for mother’s day and I would love to watch a tutorial done by you. There’s some tutorials on YT but I like how you do tutorials, Lisa😊
Hi Lisa! I need a good transition shade, I can t seem to find one that isn't too dark for my fair skin..I want one in the brown family, leaning more cool in tone..I am considering from Mac: Omega, Wedge, or Kid..Which one?
Loved this video Lisa! ❤ "Brun" is my favorite color I use on my brows. It is a perfectly neutral dark brown. I would love to see you do a bridal makeup, you are so naturally glam in your style❤ Please tell me what you have on your nails, love that color! ❤
You named just about every shade I keep in my go-to MAC palette! I also love Sumptuous Olive and Greensmoke, and Soft Brown is one of my favorite transition shades. I adore Patina but it’s difficult to work with for me. It takes a lot of building up to get it to show up at all.
I own some pallets but always come back to my Mac shadows. Cork is one i use almost daily and just mix it with other colors . What I really miss are there creme blushes..Ladyblush was my color and it used to leave my skin glowing THAT was my perfect shade
As a Big Mac fan I have almost all of those colors, vanilla, orb, satin taupe were like daily colors for me as I have dark brown eyes but also loved the plums as well, what would your suggestions be for dark brown eyes?
Your MAC faves are really pretty. I need to try more of their eye shadows. I love their lipsticks.. Velvet Teddy and Whirl lip liner are two of my favorite nude shades. Thanks for sharing 😊
PINK SWOON! my first "fancy" blush and also second MAC product (to go w lickable creme sheen). UGH. I've hit pan but I will use ituntil it's gone and then probably save the case
Hi Lisa ... love all of them ...good to see you and thank you...I always learn something new from you and enjoy it so much ....take care see you soon... Happy mother's day to you 💕
I’m so glad you did this, giving us your picks from the plethora of MAC. I’ve always been overwhelmed at the MAC counter, but bc I’m very close to your skin tone, I picked up valuable tips I never knew all these years. Now I’ll be heading back to MAC. As always, you’re a wealth of education!✨💖✨
Really enjoyed this! My MAC favorite was a cream blush I purchased years ago in a beautiful color called Tea Petal! I absolutely love it and have hit pan so wanted to purchase a replacement but have not been able to find it. Guess they discontinued it, but it’s such a beautiful light plum shade I really thought it would around forever!
As far as color, it has been Estee Lauder or Urban Decay (eyeshadow palettes). Most recently I purchase the Painterly Pots from MAC from your suggestion and about two years ago the Zac Posen / MAC collaboration set. Actually, I still love that set.
I finally got to this video-I had to get my MAC's out to see if I had all of these...LOL, I have the double sided palette and a single side palette, way too many!!!! I still love MAC the best bc I can make my own palettes, replace the ones I need, etc. Such a fabulous video!!!!
Loved this, thank you! I'm currently wearing Patina on my lid and Omega in my crease. They are both must haves for me, as are Satin Taupe and All That Glitters (all still available). ❤️
So I'm in my 50's. All the frost shades are now out. But what shades do you recommend that are neutral, not powdery and somewhat creamy? And maybe 1 shimmer? I lean toward cool shades. I'm tired of spending $$ abs hating the shadow palates. My eyes are blue btw, or red lately lol
That was neat Lisa, thanks! I love soft purples and MAC in general... and I believe it's Canadian ;) Your Makeup is sooo beautiful and delicate. May I ask what colours you are wearing? They just looks perfect! Also, what would you pair with Haux as lid and V? Thanks Lisa, as always, your video was right on :)
Thank you Sabine! I had on the lawless the one palette in this video. and for Haux, I would usually pair with a pinkish lid color like naked lunch, all that glitters, or expensive pink, and something like sketch or embark in the outter v would look great!
How long can we keep Mac eyeshadows before having to toss. Lot of money invested. Hate to throw out. And what about eyeliners and lip pencils that you can sharpen? Articles say a year. Thoughts please? Thx
I’ve noticed a lot of videos about blue and green eyes but not a lot about shadow suggestions for brown-eyed clients. Could you please put up a video for us??
You named most of my favourites. I’m NW15 for reference. I use Vanilla, Blanc Type, or Brule to light up the dark inner corners. Brule is my skin colour so I use it to wash out veins and discolouration. That or Grain. Grain is my favourite one shade & done. The satiny peachy beige glow is perfection. If I had to pick one main shade it’s Grain plus Charcoal Brown as a liner. I got Orb thinking it might be a matte version of Grain but Grain just looks better on my eyes. I use Orb once in a while as it’s a good brightening matte. According to MAC it’s not matte, it’s a Satin like Grain but it really is matte. Crease shades I like are Malt, Kid, Wedge and Omega A little darker in the outer V or a soft liner are Soba, Cork, Espresso & Coquette. My favourite liner shade is Charcoal Brown. I have Brun but I get fallout from it so I don’t use it much. Brows are Charcoal Brown or Coquette. Sometimes Omega. For sparkle and sheen it’s Naked Lunch, All That Glitters, Patina & Woodwinked. Those I use lots. I have to give Nylon & Rice Paper more attention. ERA is another I have & don’t use much. Sometimes I use Shroom if Satin Taupe made things too dark. Very bright & shiny but very overpowering at times. The only 2 I actively dislike are Honesty which never seems to even show up on my lids and Soft Brown which is a beautiful shade on other people but on me it’s pumpkin orange and not nice. I have them in the refills so I should just toss them. I can’t back to MAC them. I want Haux & Shale. Vex & Yogurt too. My wish list. I hit pan on the Brule & Blanc Type so it’s time for an order! I use the refill pans mostly & the price is $9 Canadian which is good. I like that I can buy refills on my most used shades. I love my Mac eyeshadow collection. It’s my favourite “palette”. MAC Blushes I like are Pinch O Peach best, then Melba. I tossed one called Dame. No colour payoff & hardpan seemed to develop quite fast. I have some hardpan on the Melba one but it doesn’t affect its performance.
I’ve been a MAC girl eh hmm 20+ years. 🤭 and you’ve listed many of my and trues. 😍 Can you comment on the shade Soft Brown? This has been recommended to me repeatedly as a transitional shade but personally I think it might be too warm. I have warm, reddish toned skin and I feel it might be too much of the same. Thoughts? Thank you.
Aww you’re soo cute when you said “I wasn’t in the mood to film but we’re talking about my favorite Mac shades it’s like we’re hanging out it’s so fun” hahaha I can relate !!!
Hey Lisa :-)) Love this video as I'm thinking of getting a Mac palette for my collection of makeup. So great you have did this it helps lol. Would you do Bridal make up etc again maybe when your girls a older? oxoxoxox
Thank you! I also loved that you mentioned which shades compliment each particular skin tone best.
I'd love a bridal tutorial with these. MAC still sells all but two of the shades. Kid is back on the site, but maybe for a limited time.
Quarry and Yogurt are my 2 FAVORITE MAC eye shadow colors!!!
I love what colors you are wearing in the video! What are the shades for eye and cheek?
It would be so fun to see a classic all (or mostly) MAC bridal look.
I have every single e/s and 3 of the blushes mentioned. Total must have's & staples, the shadows are what every Mac enthusiast has in their palettes. I remember depotting some of these before they sold in pans!
Hi love your Mac products, can you please please do a tutorial on the eyeshadows that you’ve shown in your video looking forward to seeing it soon thank you
Lisa would you choose a favorite quad of the eyeshades your show here? Then do a dupe for the Mac quad?
I am a fairly new subscriber to your channel (several months now); however, I am going back to watch some of the "oldies." I have 90% of the eyeshadows you mention. MAC eyeshadows are my tried and true; they never let me down. ♡
Agreed! Thanks Nancy!
Thank you so much!!! I love all the info on where, how and who you would put the MAC products on!! Is there any way you could do a tutorial or talk on colors on the eyes and face for us silver hair ladies?
Yes please. I'd love to see these actually demonstrated.
I like Brule, Coquette, and Concrete!
Awesome! Thanks Tiffany!
I’ve used Vanilla, Satin Taupe and Mystery since I visited my first MAC counter while on business in Atlanta in 1995. 🙂 I still have my original blending brush and flat brush too! MAC brushes last forever. Back then, they were made in France.
Oh yes! I remember that!
Thank you so much for this video! MAC will always be that classic brand for makeup lovers. This video brought me back!

Thanks friend!! xoxo 😘
Thank you so much! But what's with wedge or soft brown in crease?
I remember MAC being all the rage on UA-cam about 7years algo and then not so much. I love the MAC I have
So now you have to do a bridal tutorial!!
💓💍👰🏼
Thanks for the video. I recently underwent chemo and I need a makeup pick me up! I always love your great ideas!
I love MAC ❤️ I practically have all the eyeshadows that you have in your kit. 🎨 I love makeup & those colors are awesome. You are so beautiful 😍
Yay! Thanks Mari!
I love seeing palettes that are our own !! It is so much more personal ya know ? I always enjoy watching you. You are so kind and sweet and pretty. I love the Colors you have. Looks like what I have mine are combos from different companies.

I, too, love so many of these Mac colors!!
Yay! Thank you!
I LOVE Peaches!!!
I really enjoyed this trip down memory lane and some of those colors I still have and use!!! Thank you for doing this!!!
Thanks Tanya!
Oh soft brown is such a staple color for me!
Yes! Thank you so much Ryan Mae!
Great video Lisa! I very much enjoyed seeing your favorite MAC eyeshadows. I have a few of the ones you mentioned. They have so many pretty ones!😀 Happy Mother’s Day!
Thank you! Happy Mothers day!
I have all but 7, I wish they would not discontinue colors, but just add to the colors.
That was fun :) I have only a few Mac shadows these days, but I was surprised how many of those I actually owned once upon a time. Shale is a favorite! TFS!
Thank you so much Leslie!
I love MAC products. I really started to get more serious about MAC products after the makeup artist used them on me for my wedding. I just love everything and I have so many MAC products now. I have the Satin Taupe and I really love it.

Yay! Thanks Sharyn!
That was so fun! Those are some great, iconic colors!
Thank You Lisa :) Have A Happy and Blessed Mother's Day ❤❤❤
Thanks Kathie! Same to you!
Ty for featuring MAC. MAC is the OG gold standard.
It really is! I feel like it paved the way for all the artistry focused brands that are out now.
This was great! The only one of my favorites that you didn’t cover was Malt, which is my holy grail MAC transition. I am going to buy Peaches. I haven’t tried their sheer blushes. Thanks.
Thanks Stephanie! Let me know how it goes!
What were you wearing on your eyes in this video? So so pretty!
Great colors and most of my preference too!
This was a neat idea for a video! I loved the blush portion the most! Do you think you can do your favorite MAC lipsticks and lip liners from the kit also? Thanks for the video! I hope you’re feeling better!
Will have to keep that one in mind! Thanks Steph!

I love your Mac videos! It makes me nostalgic and that’s always been my favorite makeup brand ❤️
Thank you! I agree... I feel the same way about MAC. :)
I love Mac Grain for all over the lid. I know it’s described as being a frost but mine is satin and one of the few eyeshadows I’ve hit major pan on.
Good to know! Thank you!
What is the difference between charcoal brown and espresso??😊 Don't know which one to get for eyeliner!
Loved this video Lisa! ❤ "Brun" is my favorite color I use on my brows. It is a perfectly neutral dark brown. I would love to see you do a bridal makeup, you are so naturally glam in your style❤ Please tell me what you have on your nails, love that color! ❤

Gorgeous colors! I love Mac, but I forget about it at times. Thanks for reminding me!
Thanks Molly!
The Patina eyeshadow looks amazing 🤩 I hope I can find it in Sweden 🇸🇪😘
Patina is hands down one of my ALL time fave colors from any brand

Love love love! I could watch you all day! So pretty and sweet! 😍🥰😘
Awww thanks Karen!
Would you do please do a wedding makeup tutorial on using these colors!?

Loved this! Fun to revisit the favorites.....
Thanks so much Stacy!
Loved this, thank you! I'm currently wearing Patina on my lid and Omega in my crease. They are both must haves for me, as are Satin Taupe and All That Glitters (all still available). ❤️
Omega is a great one too!! :)
Pretty nice collection! I don't own a Mac eyeshadow yet, but I do have 2 blushes. One is Melba and the other one I don't remember now ...
Oh I love their blushes! Thanks Julia!
Love this video. One my top favorites that you have done. Thank you
Aww thank you Joy!

Yay! Thanks Chaitanya!
Fabulous, thanks Lisa for the tips! I was wondering if it was the Lawless ☺️ - it looks stunning on you! 💖 Thanks again and cheers from up north...
Loved this sweet Lisa! Saving it to a file! Love love Mac shadows!! 😍
Thanks sweet friend!! By the way, I know its only been 1 day but my eyes are feeling better!

Soft brown is such a great one too!
Lisa J I love what Kidd looks like, how different is it from soft brown?
It’s so informative thank you❤️,but I think writing the names of the shades will be awesome 😍so I can screen shot
I would love a video using MAC bronze eyeshadows please 😊
How long can we keep Mac eyeshadows before having to toss. Lot of money invested. Hate to throw out. And what about eyeliners and lip pencils that you can sharpen? Articles say a year. Thoughts please? Thx
Loved this video Lisa!
Thanks Elaine!
Great video! Have loved MAC for years.
Thanks Deanna!
Great video. I always learn something. I have several Mac blushes, and other brands too, but I seem yo always go back to my favorite...... Mac Orgasm!
That is a great shade! Thanks Deborah!
Love this recommendation Lisa.. What MAC shade are you btw?
Wow! That was great 👏
Great video- can you tell us what makeup you were wearing while filming this video? Thanks!
Thank you Stephanie! Yes! its from the Lawless The One Palette. :)

Crease shades I like are Malt, Kid, Wedge and Omega
A little darker in the outer V or a soft liner are Soba, Cork, Espresso & Coquette.
Oh those are all great too! So many great staples from MAC
I've been using pinch me for a number of years medium to dark golden Indian skin .would gingerly be a better colour now I'm in my 50s?
I’ve been a MAC girl eh hmm 20+ years. 🤭 and you’ve listed many of my and trues. 😍
Can you comment on the shade Soft Brown? This has been recommended to me repeatedly as a transitional shade but personally I think it might be too warm. I have warm, reddish toned skin and I feel it might be too much of the same. Thoughts?

Wonderful video! Still LOVE Mac products! 💕💕
Yes! Thank you so much :)
Aww you’re soo cute when you said
“I wasn’t in the mood to film but we’re talking about my favorite Mac shades it’s like we’re hanging out it’s so fun” hahaha I can relate !!!
:) Love talking my favorites! :)
Hey Lisa :-)) Love this video as I'm thinking of getting a Mac palette for my collection of makeup. So great you have did this it helps lol. Would you do Bridal make up etc again maybe when your girls a older? oxoxoxox
I think it is called sumptuous olive
My favorites are discontinued. Digit-a pale matte lavender and Seedling-a lighter taupe
Have you done a wedding makeup tutorial?
