MAC doesn’t get enough recognition on UA-cam. I use it exclusively. Every time I try another cosmetic brand I am disappointed. My favorite is Face and Body foundation and their eyeshadows. Thank you you for give MAC some attention.
I agree! I am starting to not trust these content creators that don’t like Mac. It’s like Mac doesn’t give them kick backs so they will not admit how good their makeup really works. This is why Lisa is such a trusted source of information for me. She’s awesome!
Oh MAC....that was the makeup brand that really lit the flame in my passion for makeup. The eye paint/primers and the 217 eye brush were my tried and true products I remember first buying and repurchasing.
Hi Lisa, you look lovely as always. I was late to the game in full face makeup, I just wore blush, mascara and a light peach lipgloss. At 50 about 8 years ago I had time to kill while shopping in Hawaii so I went to Mac counter at Macy's and received my first full face makeover, she did really well. In the process at the end she realized she had got concealer all over my yellow capris, tried her hardest to remove to no avail and made it much worse. Here's what Mac did, gave me EVERY color of makeup used on me free, new pants and tried to get spot removed with store tailor!!! Love it all💄😜and still have what was not shelf life risky to keep 🤷♀️
20 years ago MAC was "the" brand when it comes to makeup. I remember saving for being able to buy 1 brush (btw 1 still have all my brushes from that time, this is quality). I still have my gingerly blush and I love it since it looks like a bronzer and it flatters my light skin.
I really enjoyed this video! I used to only use MAC, when they were at the top of their game and their marketing was so on point! I shopped my stash and got out Soft Brown and Grain shadows and Candy Box Lipglass yesterday and I had forgotten how well their shadows blend and how professional they look on the eye! I loooove that their gloss has pigment and the delicious vanilla smell. I'm glad that you did this video! I think that if they became cruelty free and cleaned up their marketing a bit so it's more artistic like it used to be, that they would do really well again :) I always hope that they will because they were a big part of my generation when we were growing up! I appreciate your happy vibes and well-spoken presentations in your videos :) My 4 favorite products are the Vintage Selection Paint Pot, Brownboarder eyeliner, the Lipglass in Nymphette and their eyeshadows (couldn't pick just 3 :) ).
Viva glam 5 was my favorite holy grail lip glass but it was discontinued. It was the perfect neutral shade that went with every look. I hope they bring it back
MAC is tried and true! Was the first makeup brand I ever tried. So many brands have come out now but I think MAC will always be a Trusted brand to fall back on. I also used to love Peaches and Gingerly (and pink swoon)...their eye shadows were bomb too!
I LOVE MAC! So happy you did this video! So many You Tubers started their careers at Mac. There was no Sephora or Ulta back in the 80's. I love the Studio Fix powder, the eyeshadows and the creme lipsticks. Plus everything else!
My top 3 Mac products would probably be Fix Plus, strobe cream and face and body foundation. I have many more favorites but those are probably my top 3. I also love Whirl lip liner, studio fix concealer, studio fix fluid foundation, the mineralized blushes and powders, Oyster Girl lip glass, the natural radiance primer, skin refined zone and I even still use the eyeshadow singles quite often. I know there’s more products that I can’t think of off the top of my head. I’ve used Mac for probably 20 years or more and it makes me sad that more UA-camrs don’t talk about them. Love the Harmony blush and still use the “make your own” eye palette. I usually use the four-color version, and you can do so much with their replaceable colors…Love being able to replace a color when I run out and just pop it in the palette box. Best idea for eyeshadow palettes ever and was a game changer for me years ago. Also love their paint pots…eyeshadow and primer in one for a quick out-the-door look! Enjoyed the video..would love to know what eyeshadows you used today. Gorgeous colors, and a fun way to start my day with your video!
I still love Mac so much. I absolutely love the Mac eyeshadow formula! And I still love the Blushes, like Warm Soul, Melba, Gingerly and Peaches. And I have so many others I love too! And I love their highlighters! Double gleam, and the Hyper real palettes. I have flash & awe, and I just love it!
I use the Mineralized Skin Finish powder lightly every day to set my foundation. It’s practically the only powder that doesn’t dry my skin. I also love their Hush paint pot as an eyeshadow base, and really love spraying the Fix ++ on my finished makeup. I don’t love the sprayer on it but the product really works for me.
Thanks much Lisa! I love MAC even though I have tried so many brands - high end and drugstore. With MAC you get a high quality product at a great price point -- not too expensive. In particular, I love the half red lip pencil (goes with every color in my opinion), club eyeshadow -- it looks greenish/iridescent in the package but goes on like a brownish color but neutral and so many MAC lipsticks, especially plumfull and lately bought a few matte lipsticks such as burning love. Appreciate that you've given MAC some love today!

MAC faves include Warm Soul (old formula) even though they tried to tell us it's the same color we know its not, Mehr lipstick, and Woodwinked eyeshadow!
The extended play gigablack lash is my ONLY goto for my lower lashes! And I fell in love with their blushes about a year ago - faavs the Glow Play in "so natural" and the powder blush in "blushbaby".
Oh great question! I got married wearing Twig with Spice lip liner. If I had to pick a third, it would be the reformulated Face + Body foundation. Such a lovely sheer foundation that makes my skin look flawless. I am definitely going to pick up more this weekend.
Omg I have been using Spice and Teddy for over 20 years. Always have, and will. Doesn’t matter my lipstick or gloss or eyeshadow. Iconic but my staples.
Well, I'm two years late to this video 😲, but I love my MAC. My favourites: 1. StudioFix Powder Foundation in NC15. *Love* this. Even if I start using a different brand or formulation, it's always lurking in the background, ready to save the day should I need it. 2. The original 219 Pencil Brush. It was *the* brush when I purchased it, and that was waaay before influencers -- or even the net -- existed. (Yikes.) 3. An empty Pro Palette, and insert for 4 shadows. As soon as I bought them, these components changed the way I looked at eyeshadow from then on. I didn't have to settle for a premade palette containing colours or finishes I didn't like! My very first shade pan was Malt. I still purchase MAC shadow pans to this day. (I hope there'll be some new ones soon!)
My first favorite Mac product is the nourishing longwear foundation, great coverage and beautiful finish without looking cakey, and it truly is longwear as it stayed put during the Phoenix summer outdoors. Second, the beautiful Art Library Nude Model Palette, just stunning. Last but not least, Sheertone Blush in Pinch Me, great natural flush color.
Thank you for this video, Lisa..! You never dissapoint me..! 🙋♀️ The only products I currently use from MAC are the Teddy Velvet Lipstick and the paint pots in Painterly and Soft Ochre shades. I recently watched one of your videos where you mentioned a make up artist applied on your eyelids the paint pot in shade Layin' Low, and I included it in my shopping cart...🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣 As for the foundation, I was super hesitant to purchase it because I was not so sure about my shade. Regularly, what I do is look for reviews from people similar or close to my skin tone (like you, #Marisadoesmakeup, #BlisfulBri, #Juicyjas, etc). Believe me when I tell you this video has helped me a lot to finally convince me and make the purchase at Ulta. I have heard not so good references from the MAC website/customer service, so I decided to go to Ulta. I really hope the shade I picked NC27 is a good match..! NC25 is too light and NC30 is too dark from what I see online...🤔🤷♀️😀
Hi! I was told by a MAC rep that I was also NC27. I'm Hispanic with a slight olive undertone and NC27 looks too light for me. And NC30 is too dark. I need to go into Ulta and get an accurate match. Thanks.
I remember when they changed the Prep&Prime spf 50 formula several years ago. I was absolutely CRUSHED. That product was my all time HG of all products and I still have found nothing that compares. It was a primer that blurred your pores beautifully ~~ it controlled oil really well~~it made your makeup go on so much better and even made the shades/tones of everything “pop” plus it held your makeup in place ALL DAY LONG PLUS it was spf 50!!!!! I dont know why on earth they changed it to this horrible runny every day type spf but they did and soooo many people were upset over it. Anyway I still love Mac and I wear StudioFix powder foundation every single day. I also love Blanc Type eyeshadow-I bet I’ve gone thru at least 15 of those and I love their blush too especially the SE shade Prim and Proper. I also love Prism. Mac has some great products and I dont know why people don’t think it’s “cool” nowadays because I certainly do. OH I forgot to mention that I cannot live without Painterly paint pot for my eyeshadow primer. I’ve been wearing that for about 15 years now. My favorite!

1. Studio Fix concealer spf 35 in the pot: indispensible for blemishes/hyperpigmentation. Always match to your face/foundation shade. 2. Gingerly blush. 3. Studio Fix Compact Powder is always in my purse for touch ups, if necessary.
Mineralize skin finish powder, blot powder, Teddy eyeliner, the Patrick Star eye quad shadows, & several lipsticks. I used Studio Tech foundation for my wedding & it was beautiful! 🤩
I’ve been using MAC studiofix powder for 30 years. I love love love. I’ll never stop purchasing. It has worked tremendously on my face through all the stages of my skin.
Super vid, Lisa. MAC was my first makeup counter I worked at in Canada and it was huge at the time (longer ago than you!) I love Oyster Girl. And remember Snob? A true blue pink. For cooler toned people like me, if Spice lip liner turns orange on you, try Whirl.

I’m actually doing my own project pan with all my Mac products! Paint pot, fix+, foundation, concealer, setting powder, you name it I have it. The products are indeed very good, I’m not sure why nobody talks about them
Have you tried the Maybelline Fit Me setting powder? It's around $5.00. Try Wet n Wild Incognito Concealer, under $4.00. Try Revlon Colorstay foundation under $10.00.
Favourites: Mac Face and Body foundation (builds to a light medium coverage but still looks skin-like/undetectable), Studio Fix conceal & correct palette (all-in-one product that lives up to its name and darker color can be used to contour and lighter to highlight), mineralized skin finish powder (doesn’t cake, sets, can be used to contour and highlight), Studio Fix powder (provides good coverage, sets, can be used to contour with a light hand), Melba and Sunbasque blush (sheer tone so everyone can wear them and universally flattering colors), Russian Red & Mehr lipstick (classic long wearing mattes that are universally flattering colors).
Soar lipliner on it's own is the best and lasts all day :) I am going to head to a MAC counter this weekend to get matched for my summer foundation shade! Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been using MAC since 2011 and I still use it daily in 2022! Studio Fix fluid and powder, their liners, mascaras and lip products will always be in my makeup stash! I’ve tried many brands throughout the years but MAC is like home to me💗
My holy grail highlighter is MAC Extra Dimension in Double Gleam. I have a back up for my back up. I also love their eyeshadow in Satin Taupe and lipstick in Twig. Studio Fix foundation is awesome too...NW10 in winter and NW13 in summer.
I have always maintained MAC blot powder, whirl and oak lip liners, honey love lipstick and fix plus in my collection. MAC’s Malibu was my favorite cream blush/multi stick (when cream blushes weren’t all the rage) but they discontinued it. Recently tried the 24 hour studio fix concealer and a few other things and I’m falling back in love with the brand. Can’t beat it for the stage. Stays in place under the hot lights.

Love love love MAC! MAC was my introduction to loving makeup. Their eyeshadows are beautiful and very pigmented. Love Costa Riche eye liner pencil. And love the Studio Fix liquid foundation. There was definitely a time in my life that I was a MAC addict. I would love to see more MAC full face videos!!
Mac studio fix is the first Mac foundation I tried. Now I have 5 different Mac foundations! I agree the pro longwear concealer is perfect. Mac extended play mascara is irreplaceable. I also love my paint pots and the bronzer in Give Me Sun.
Mac Face and Body foundation (the best foundation for dry skin). Mac eyeshadows (true work horse… looks great, last all day, great color selection and shade range). Cream Color Base in pearl (the best highlight that gives a subtle glow without looking fake and doesn’t exaggerate pores)
Hi lisa ! In late 80’s - early 90’s, I only wore Mac products ! I worked for Shoppers Drug Mart, the biggest Canadian drugstore chain and my boss asked me to start using products available at the pharmacy.… My favorite products are still available and of course I bought them… Del Rio and Red Russian lipsticks Brulé eyeshadow ( a light beige that I wear as a base color) And also old color, Phloof!, a shimmery ivory that I put under the center of the eyebrow for a highlight
First I LOVE Nordstrom! Their customer service is the best I have used. I do have Mac foundation, concealer, blush and lipsticks . I don’t use them everyday, but I must say they do a great job when used. Thanks 😊

Definitely the pro long wear concealer. I first bought this approx 6 years ago and no matter which concealer in trending, I always have my trusty, reliable Mac concealer. Then there's the Mac lipsticks. I can't remember my first one (actually, my sister and I shared it 🙈 - we shared everything) but that was my "falling in love" with their lippies AND their lip liners! I have loved MAC lip glass forever. It does last and doesn't slide all over the place. MAC paint pots are just outstanding. Fast and great for older eyes. Also, MAC clear lipgloss that comes in a tube. love it.

I still use Mineralize Skinfinish. It’s one of the few powders that doesn’t emphasize fine lines. It also gives a soft glow.
I really love Mac makeup. I'm not sure why it isn't talked about anymore but, the eyeshadow formula is so good. I use a lot of their products.

Mac soft and gentle highlighter, strobe creme, velvet teddy lipstick are my favorite Mac products been using them for years. I always go back to them.
The lipsticks, face and body product and the mascara for lower lashes are wonderful.

The extended play gigablack lash is my ONLY goto for my lower lashes! And I fell in love with their blushes about a year ago - faavs the Glow Play in "so natural" and the powder blush in "blushbaby".
Oh great question! I got married wearing Twig with Spice lip liner. If I had to pick a third, it would be the reformulated Face + Body foundation. Such a lovely sheer foundation that makes my skin look flawless. I am definitely going to pick up more this weekend.
MAC paint pots and the mascara in the blue tube. I love the small wand of that mascara it's so easy to apply on smaller eyes.

Omg I have been using Spice and Teddy for over 20 years. Always have, and will. Doesn’t matter my lipstick or gloss or eyeshadow. Iconic but my staples.
Well, I'm two years late to this video 😲, but I love my MAC. My favourites: 1. StudioFix Powder Foundation in NC15. *Love* this. Even if I start using a different brand or formulation, it's always lurking in the background, ready to save the day should I need it. 2. The original 219 Pencil Brush. It was *the* brush when I purchased it, and that was waaay before influencers -- or even the net -- existed. (Yikes.) 3. An empty Pro Palette, and insert for 4 shadows. As soon as I bought them, these components changed the way I looked at eyeshadow from then on. I didn't have to settle for a premade palette containing colours or finishes I didn't like! My very first shade pan was Malt. I still purchase MAC shadow pans to this day. (I hope there'll be some new ones soon!)

My first favorite Mac product is the nourishing longwear foundation, great coverage and beautiful finish without looking cakey, and it truly is longwear as it stayed put during the Phoenix summer outdoors. Second, the beautiful Art Library Nude Model Palette, just stunning. Last but not least, Sheertone Blush in Pinch Me, great natural flush color.
Thank you for this video, Lisa..! You never dissapoint me..! 🙋♀️ The only products I currently use from MAC are the Teddy Velvet Lipstick and the paint pots in Painterly and Soft Ochre shades. I recently watched one of your videos where you mentioned a make up artist applied on your eyelids the paint pot in shade Layin' Low, and I included it in my shopping cart...🤦♀️🤷♀️🤣 As for the foundation, I was super hesitant to purchase it because I was not so sure about my shade. Regularly, what I do is look for reviews from people similar or close to my skin tone (like you, #Marisadoesmakeup, #BlisfulBri, #Juicyjas, etc). Believe me when I tell you this video has helped me a lot to finally convince me and make the purchase at Ulta. I have heard not so good references from the MAC website/customer service, so I decided to go to Ulta. I really hope the shade I picked NC27 is a good match..! NC25 is too light and NC30 is too dark from what I see online...🤔🤷♀️😀
Hi! I was told by a MAC rep that I was also NC27. I'm Hispanic with a slight olive undertone and NC27 looks too light for me. And NC30 is too dark. I need to go into Ulta and get an accurate match. Thanks.
I remember when they changed the Prep&Prime spf 50 formula several years ago. I was absolutely CRUSHED. That product was my all time HG of all products and I still have found nothing that compares. It was a primer that blurred your pores beautifully ~~ it controlled oil really well~~it made your makeup go on so much better and even made the shades/tones of everything “pop” plus it held your makeup in place ALL DAY LONG PLUS it was spf 50!!!!! I dont know why on earth they changed it to this horrible runny every day type spf but they did and soooo many people were upset over it. Anyway I still love Mac and I wear StudioFix powder foundation every single day. I also love Blanc Type eyeshadow-I bet I’ve gone thru at least 15 of those and I love their blush too especially the SE shade Prim and Proper. I also love Prism. Mac has some great products and I dont know why people don’t think it’s “cool” nowadays because I certainly do. OH I forgot to mention that I cannot live without Painterly paint pot for my eyeshadow primer. I’ve been wearing that for about 15 years now. My favorite!

1. Studio Fix concealer spf 35 in the pot: indispensible for blemishes/hyperpigmentation. Always match to your face/foundation shade.
2. Gingerly blush.
3. Studio Fix Compact Powder is always in my purse for touch ups, if necessary.

Woodwinked! I still wear Woodwinked eye shadow weekly. I'm also still using a good ole "warm soul" blush, can't go wrong with either of those.

I’m actually doing my own project pan with all my Mac products! Paint pot, fix+, foundation, concealer, setting powder, you name it I have it. The products are indeed very good, I’m not sure why nobody talks about them
Have you tried the Maybelline Fit Me setting powder? It's around $5.00. Try Wet n Wild Incognito Concealer, under $4.00. Try Revlon Colorstay foundation under $10.00.

Favourites: Mac Face and Body foundation (builds to a light medium coverage but still looks skin-like/undetectable), Studio Fix conceal & correct palette (all-in-one product that lives up to its name and darker color can be used to contour and lighter to highlight), mineralized skin finish powder (doesn’t cake, sets, can be used to contour and highlight), Studio Fix powder (provides good coverage, sets, can be used to contour with a light hand), Melba and Sunbasque blush (sheer tone so everyone can wear them and universally flattering colors), Russian Red & Mehr lipstick (classic long wearing mattes that are universally flattering colors).
Soar lipliner on it's own is the best and lasts all day :) I am going to head to a MAC counter this weekend to get matched for my summer foundation shade! Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been using MAC since 2011 and I still use it daily in 2022! Studio Fix fluid and powder, their liners, mascaras and lip products will always be in my makeup stash! I’ve tried many brands throughout the years but MAC is like home to me💗
My holy grail highlighter is MAC Extra Dimension in Double Gleam. I have a back up for my back up. I also love their eyeshadow in Satin Taupe and lipstick in Twig. Studio Fix foundation is awesome too...NW10 in winter and NW13 in summer.
I have always maintained MAC blot powder, whirl and oak lip liners, honey love lipstick and fix plus in my collection. MAC’s Malibu was my favorite cream blush/multi stick (when cream blushes weren’t all the rage) but they discontinued it. Recently tried the 24 hour studio fix concealer and a few other things and I’m falling back in love with the brand. Can’t beat it for the stage. Stays in place under the hot lights.
I love Mac, I have dry skin and their products work best on me. I love the makeup artist who work with me.

Love love love MAC! MAC was my introduction to loving makeup. Their eyeshadows are beautiful and very pigmented. Love Costa Riche eye liner pencil. And love the Studio Fix liquid foundation. There was definitely a time in my life that I was a MAC addict. I would love to see more MAC full face videos!!
Mac studio fix is the first Mac foundation I tried. Now I have 5 different Mac foundations! I agree the pro longwear concealer is perfect. Mac extended play mascara is irreplaceable. I also love my paint pots and the bronzer in Give Me Sun.
I still love MAC. Their lipstick in Whirl and the blush in Melba are long time favorites.

Mac Face and Body foundation (the best foundation for dry skin). Mac eyeshadows (true work horse… looks great, last all day, great color selection and shade range). Cream Color Base in pearl (the best highlight that gives a subtle glow without looking fake and doesn’t exaggerate pores)

Definitely the pro long wear concealer. I first bought this approx 6 years ago and no matter which concealer in trending, I always have my trusty, reliable Mac concealer.
Then there's the Mac lipsticks. I can't remember my first one (actually, my sister and I shared it 🙈 - we shared everything) but that was my "falling in love" with their lippies AND their lip liners! Love, love, love their lip liners 😍.

I have loved MAC lip glass forever. It does last and doesn't slide all over the place. MAC paint pots are just outstanding. Fast and great for older eyes. Also, MAC clear lipgloss that comes in a tube. love it.
