"Celery is such an easy plant to grow" ......I've not had success with it yet 😂 Everytime I see your videos I get so green with envy over how lush and full the beds are! (I moved my garden recently to incorporate raised beds and most of the plants are barely a month old yet in zone 6)
Oh no 😂 I guess it just likes my soil! It takes time!! Most of this stuff went in May 1st. And interplanting has really helped keep things looking full
your voice is so soft and calming it really makes the videos enjoyable to watch! As always tons and tons of useful information, hard to get it all in my noggin lol I like that you care about your neighbours even if they never complained, just shows how thoughtful you are to those around you! Your little area near the greenhouse is cute, must be so nice to sit by the fire at night and relax :) I love celery, can't grow it to save my life though xD Hope you have a wonderful weekend momma ❤
Thank you so much! I’ve been actively trying to bring the calm to videos since I’m sure I’m not the only one who could use it these days. We really have the best neighbors, I don’t take that for granted. The fire pit is my favorite 💚🌱
@thecottagepeach it's definitely working, your videos are like ASMR to me lol sometimes I close my eyes and just relax 🙈 It's nice having good neighbors, I have one neighbor who is an old couple super nice, and on the other side it's a young guy always revving his car twice a day for no damn reason 😭
Your garden is still looking so pretty! We're hovering dangerously close to the frost line on a nightly basis and everything is looking quite sad. I have a few pods hanging off my snap pea plants and a few peppers that didn't fully ripen. I'm going to try to overwinter a couple of my pepper plants and a couple rosemary plants which are all conveniently in containers already. I've moved them into the garage. I'm going to try the "mulch with a bit of sand" trick to stop fungus gnats. Hopefully it all goes well! Then I'm going to try some indoor gardening in my grow tent!
It’s hanging on, I’ve got lots of frost loving stuff stuffed in everywhere but it’s going to change dramatically in the next couple of weeks! We hit 38 last night
I think your garden is well set out. Naturally its Much better than your old plastic greenhouse. Do you get black widow spiders in your area ? Can you access Sugar Cane mulch as it would work well to smother the aggressive weeds in the garlic beds.
Appreciate it, took a lot of effort getting to this point. There are black widows here but rarely seen, I have never seen one in Massachusetts. Unfortunately sugar cane mulch is really only available in a couple of the southern states very far off, not accessible here. I’m thinking maybe a lentil cover crop in the asparagus beds
Yes! I should have been more specific that it was the variety that was a mistake. These are California giants so the worst ones I could have picked lol
Great video, I really love the views from your garden 🌲🌲🌺
Thanks so much

Try dwarf zinnias.
