"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." You both have truly done in life what many of us want to do in dreams!! How beautiful!! Thank you!!
It is amazing all the different terrains you have shown us. Each location has different views of water and ground cover. Can't thank you enough for bringing us along with you. You are top notch travel guides plus all that cute charisma. 🌻🐕🇺🇸
You guys are living out the expedition that my dad and I always dreamed of but never got to live out. So glad you could do it, and at an age where you can fully enjoy it! This has been such a treat to follow your journey and imagine what might have been.
We're sorry to hear you couldn't do this trip with your dad. We feel very lucky that we were able to experience it together. We're glad we could share this journey with you! Thank you for watching!
YES! I knew you were gonna drive the Dempster :) Near the top of my bucket list so love seeing videos of people making the trek. And WOW those mountains!!!
Totally cool to keep saying "this is the most beautiful place I've ever seen". It's a simple statement of complete gratitude. I get it. Keep saying it!
Wow, so glad you made it to Tombstone! This is the one place I want to get to most in the entire world. The scenery in this video blew my hiking socks off! Thanks for documenting this.
What a spectacular hike and that lake with its views was one of the best pictures I've seen in awhile. Stunning!! I'm assuming that hike was 26 miles round trip? Holy Cow!! Can't even imagine seeing the sign "Artic Ocean" ! What a mind blower!
No, thankfully it was about 13ish roundtrip. It was worth every step though! What an incredible place it is! Seeing the Arctic Ocean sign was definitely a mind blower!
You make me smile the whole time I watch your videos!!! Love that you're "chasing autumn" south for two months - bravo planning! Your Skittles description of the colors was sweet (hee-hee) and I just love that you wave goodbye to places. Like you said, "See you again soon!"
We're glad you enjoy them! This was such a gorgeous place to be and we are glad we could share it with you! We've gotten really lucky with the fall colors so far!
Oh my word....WOW!!!!!! The scenery and colors are freaking amazing!!! This entire vlog was like a magical screensaver...a true kaleidoscope of absolutely stunning scenery! I can definitely see why it is called Canada's "Patagonia".
I’m just glad you guys are always safe no matter where you go you seem to be by yourselves a lot when you go on your hikes. Stay safe and take care of each other. P.S. I love your silliness at the end of your videos! 😂
We have done the Dempster three times, twice all the way to Tuk and once to the Arctic Circle. The trick to surviving it is to slow down. The difference between doing it at 90 km/hr or 70 km/hr is something like 4 hours. If you are doing 90 and bust a tie rod end or a lower control arm you can wait 4 days for a tow truck and they don't take AAA up there. Make the journey as important as the destination.
Yes we made sure to go pretty slow. We encountered many people with flat tires (some with multiple) and my guess is because they were going fast. We told ourselves from the start that this adventure is just as much about the journey as it is the destination!
Hello Adventurers😊😊😊😊, and WOW...those peaks were so awesome to see...and those lakes too. I'd be very nervous about blown tires on that road...Dempster Highway. Ohhh I can't wait to see what's next as you continue North to the Artic Circle and...the Artic Ocean!!! AWESOME VIDEO👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
Just WOW! Those colors are so beautiful, what a great side trip! You guys went through and saw all the beauty of summer and driving back get the beautiful fall colors! This trip has just been phenomenal 🙌
When we do our trip to Alaska and Canada, I think we should all stay at that really neat campsite together! It looked so unique! We also wave goodbye or see ya later to places, things, and people we don't want to leave 👋🫶
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing your fun and inspirational journey. Also, I really appreciate how you include the downs and problems you encounter along the way! Thanks for your transparency 😊
We are very lucky that we don't have many problems to share! Anything semi-major like this we will share it! It's all part of the journey. Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
How beautiful! Those fall colors were amazing…just wowza! Loved every bit of it! That campground was so cool! Your dance moves always make me smile but the moves at the end were so fun!
You are truly one of best travel you tuber, if not the best. I can not appreciate enough for you have been doing for the viewers like us. I hope next year we can travel to Alaska too.
Really love watching your adventures. You guys are so contagiously happy and so good to each other, that watching your episodes leaves us with the good feels… and on top of that you do such a brilliant job with your camera work to show us the awesome scenery you see along the way. Keep up the great work and all the best with growing your channel. We’re on board for as long as you’re offering the ride. Cheers
Love how undeveloped (and perfect) the park and area are. Like many people pre-2020, we were "supposed" to go to the actual Patagonia. This really does loom similar. Those mountain ranges look ridiculous in the fall.
We are back from a 30 day road trip with little to no internet (most times no cell service). I needed my A + K fix this morning and this was perfect. Gonna go finish catching up now.
I was two weeks behind and just got caught up on all the videos. I was on a week long trip in the Smoky Mountains. Sad to see ya'll leave Alaska but can't wait to see the Arctic Ocean. We'll let you slide on not drinking the toe but you're going to have to swim in the Arctic. Can't wait to see it.
Ya know lately after some long hikes in which beforehand we've debated whether we should backpack or not, we've been really happy to go back to our warm bed in our van instead of sleeping on the cold, hard ground 😂. But, it would have been incredible to camp and see more of this epic park!
Loving this travel vlog. My better half and I will be driving from Victoria to Dawson this summer taking the Cassiar route. We have already done the Dawson Creek route a couple years ago so inland route this time. Bringing the canoe and our 20 year old cat with us....Glad you enjoyed your time in Canada!
Oh my gosh, Tombstone Park!! It has always been a goal of mine to go there. Thank you for this :D I always love watching your adventures as a starting point for my own. You guys are the best!
I love it! I'm re-watching your Million Dollar Highway videos in preparation for my annual Colorado Color Ride that my wife and I do, and this is additional inspiration to get out and see the leaves changing
Fall colors are the best, but I hate what comes after 😅🤣 I'm in Fargo and we're about at peak colors right now, going to go leaf peeping this weekend. It's cool that you guys just happened to be there when the helicopter came in, and that campground was unique, I like that they had the elevated platforms.
Ya the dead looking trees after are definitely not as fun! It was neat seeing the helicopter fly in and out! And yes that campground was a cool spot and unbeatable scenery!
Absoutely incredible footage, scenery and those mountain peaks breath taking and you did it!! Congrats on your climb and showing us such beautiful landscapes and not easy to discover remote lakes. Enjoy your return to TX, hope your journey was a safe one! Again thank you for sharing it was quite the adventure. Be safe in yur travels🥰🐕🌎
Living right near where the Dempster starts, I have been to Tombstone many times. Friends, and family down south (and, by "south" Yukoners mean south of the 60th parallel!) keep asking me why I live up here. Your videos show a lot of the reasons - gorgeous, wild land!
Quite different scenery from the more forested areas that you have been in prior to this. When you said in the last video that you were going north I guessed that you were going on the Dempster highway, but I figured that you were going only as far as the Arctic Circle. Going all of the way to the Arctic Ocean should be an epic trip. I can't wait to see what that area looks like.
These mountain peaks of "Canada's Patagonia" are truly epic! I've enjoyed the fall colors in the Uintas and Wind River Range this season. It's so cool when the clouds clear out for even just a bit so it opens the views, or the 'peek of the peaks':) The helicopter scene reminded me of a short vlog I recently watched about how the NPS deals with poop, cause a honey wagon can't go everywhere. Another great vid! On to the next one.
Beautiful views. I've been wanting to move into Canada for awhile and leave the United States. Love their mountains and better government! Thanks for the upload.
That campsite looked amazing! How cool!! Also, just wanted to let you know my partner and I visited Southwest Colorado and hiked the Perimeter Trail & The Blue Lakes! Thanks for the info and inspo! 🙏
I’m guessing by the kitchen at camp the grizzlies are not a problem here!!?? This Video is incredible. My favorite time of year as well. I live in Wyoming and am in Texas caring for my mom who had surgery. Missing fall up north, barely beginning here, Up to 90 yesterday. Ready for cooler temps. Thank you for being awesome 😊
The cooking area is so that everyone cooks and eats in the same area and disposes of their liquids in the barrels. I think they do this to mitigate the risk of bear activity in the area We hope all is well! Growing up in Texas we know fall is a myth there haha
The jagged-y-ness of those peaks reminds me a little of the Grand Tetons which I loved. I still remember the first video of yours I watched was from there. But I think the peaks of this range is even more intense and I see why it's called the Patagonia of Canada 😍 The helicopter drop off was awesome to see, I imagine that doesn't happen too often. The campsite looked very well set up too, especially the eating and cooking tent. Never would have thought that was there! A shame you didn't get to camp here, but a good reason to return! Loving how autumnal this is, and exciting that you hope to have 2 months of it. It's slowing beginning to turn here in the UK and it's super pretty!
This park was incredible! We wished we could've spent more time there as well! It would have been great to backpack to see the other lakes. The campground was really cool and unique. We will definitely be back! Ever since being back in the lower 48 we've been treated to some really nice fall colors! It's our favorite time of year!
Absolutely stunning one of my favorite videos you guys have done in your photography was outstanding not that it normally isn’t, but this in particular excellent actually 😊
We didn't really do anything remote in Alaska because there aren't roads to get there. You have to fly to get to remote Alaska. So if you ask us at the moment we'd say remote Canada because there are roads to get to some of it. Also, Canada is much bigger so there are more options to get more remote. Hopefully that makes sense! Thanks for watching!
The helicopter belongs to Fireweed Helicopters out of Dawson City, it was servicing the outhouses, remove the waste and bring in fresh water and empty waste Barrels. We have to do this every few weeks over the summer. This happens at Grizzly and at Talus.
I'm not sure how we found it. I guess from researching about the highway and for our trip up to Alaska. We were surprised the campground was so full too
How long did it take you guys to hike the whole way and how tough was it? Me and my friends are planning a senior year trip to Yukon and also plan to day hike the trail since all the tent pads are booked. I haven’t seen too many people do this trail in a day from my online research. Thanks!
It took us 11 hours to hike to the lake and back. We are very experienced hikers and it was a pretty tough hike! It's definitely doable in a day hike. Keep in mind that we heard from a ranger at the lake that several tent pads often get cancelled a day or two before their trip so if you keep an eye on the website you might be able to score some. I don't know how many are in your party, but it could be an option. Good luck!

that mountain range so stunning 😍 loved all the colors ! too bad you couldn't camp after such a long day hike!

Loved all of those fall colors!
They were incredible!
I live in Norway. Our cabins are over 60 deg N. This reminds me of what I consider home.
It is so beautiful! I'm jealous you are chasing the fall colors as you go south. You ended up doing the can-can after all.
Ya! 😂😂
Amazing hike in a beautiful landscape. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Switzerland, Benjamin
It was spectacular up there!
Beautiful scenery!
Awesome! We hope to drive it all again one day! 20 year old cat! Amazing!
Absolutely beautiful!❤
Oh my gosh, Tombstone Park!! It has always been a goal of mine to go there. Thank you for this :D I always love watching your adventures as a starting point for my own. You guys are the best!

We hope you have a great trip! Thanks for watching!

It was an incredible hike and park! We’re slowly making our way back to TX
i love the viideos and your travel pics
Loved it, thanks guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Living right near where the Dempster starts, I have been to Tombstone many times. Friends, and family down south (and, by "south" Yukoners mean south of the 60th parallel!) keep asking me why I live up here. Your videos show a lot of the reasons - gorgeous, wild land!
It’s such an amazing place! We can’t wait to come back!
One question we haven’t found the answer to yet….is it The Yukon or Yukon?
@@AdventuresofAplusK (Opening the can of worms) Well.... Officially, it is "Yukon" but a great many (most?) say "the Yukon." Both are used!
It definitely was an epic trip! One we'll never forget! And you're right...the diverse scenery is very remarkable
You guys are the champions 🏆 👏
All I can say is superb; and amazing and excellent and I can go on and on; and the north lights,(OMG) stay safe😎😎😎👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oooooo the Winds! We miss the Winds!
We'll have to look up that doc!
Not sure where you guys are now in your journey, but if you’re anywhere near Colorado the fall colors are definitely poppin’!
We aren't too far away and ever since we've gotten back to the lower 48 we've seen fall colors everywhere! It's been awesome!
@@AdventuresofAplusK Incredible, isn't it? There aren't enough drone batteries in the world to capture it all LOL...

Yaaaa there isn't much fall to speak of in Texas 😂 we're excited to share the colors over the next video as well!
Nice fall colors and beautiful overall scenery. Have you all hiked the White Mountains in NH or Vermont in the fall? Amazing foliage as well.
The scenery at Tombstone was amazing!
Yes we have! We have a few videos from fall 2021
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Hey did you use your fuel cans?
The helicopter belongs to Fireweed Helicopters out of Dawson City, it was servicing the outhouses, remove the waste and bring in fresh water and empty waste Barrels. We have to do this every few weeks over the summer. This happens at Grizzly and at Talus.
Ya that’s what we figured 😊 thanks for watching
Putting this on my list! Is the dempster highway drivable in a normal sedan?
It's doable, yes. I would just make sure it's in good mechanical condition and probably put some new all terrain tires on it
Seriously... every time when I say something like that....knock on wood for you guys LOL
I thought it funny that something so remote was so full until I saw your photos. How did you ever hear about it?
Good luck!
