It was an immense help and I know I am not in the minority here. It's pretty selfish I know to ask your time in such a way but I wouldn't have bothered if your content wasn't good. Can this be set up along side the asymmetrical system for in alive, makes it really feel like a Warzone when you have pockets of ai on both sides fighting
Quick question I want to Use a different faction for my commander via Russian federation for the cup mod, and same with my United States Marines but I can’t find those factions in the faction selection. So how do I spawn those modded custom factions
Fordo Gaming Idk If you still need an answer to this but I think what you need is under (tools/config viewer) then go to cfg faction classes and go through and find the one you want. (I think cup mod factions literally say cup in the faction thing. Then just take the faction code i.e (cup_o_ru) and copy paste it into the commander module in the faction override slot and should spawn that faction
So I have a pc with gtx 1060 6gb and a intel core i5 6600k with 8 gb ram and i have fps loss i ste the group limit to 10 and i have 2v2 mil.obj with 400 companye in altis so Can you help me with this cuz i downloaded the alive to perform big battles without fps loss so without alive i have 80 fp but with alive 30 fps
Spriterfighter Studio Hey there! So is this when it’s just running and your not actively viewing any fights taking place? Or is this when a fights happening and the units are loaded in? I would have to do some bench testing myself as I have never noticed any FPS drops while using ALiVE.

I want to ask if you maybe can make, like a final video on how to create an infinite ALiVE Mission where both sides gonna attack each other with slow progress so the struggle might last for about days or a week on a good server. Why I am asking? I'd like to run a server where players can join either side and push their side to the victory. So actually the player interactions will have real impact on the outcome of one side but still the battles will continue to keep up the 'active/living war'
Try these missions. Very good steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198012420991/myworkshopfiles/?appid=107410 and also steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198240197958/myworkshopfiles/. They are both the same types of missions, just slight diff styles. All persistant missions made for single and multiplayer. For server just look in description for a link to the PBO file to add to server mission folder.
I know this is a bit late but i have a few questions. 1. Will the invading forces attack objectives by themselves? or do i have to give them waypoints via Zeus? (soz im a bit dumb and am new to ALiVE) 2. If im playing this in Singleplayer. What is the average waiting time for the "enemy" to attack an objective? 3. How long can these "battles" last? I love having massive, but tactical, battles in ArmA :D 4. If i set up what you set up exactly BUT i put down my own squad of AI to hunt down the "enemy" Commander. Will this break the game? If i kill the commander that is.

It is when i start the mission and dosent seems to increase iys stay around 30-40 fps
If i decrase the active ai limit i can reach 60-70 fps or if i change from company 200 to platoon 30
Both side have a big area
The spapwn radius was 1500

ThatGuyRyan the invasion force will attack the occupation force in a aggressive style while the occupation force will attack in a more defensive style
