You beat me too this. I had this same idea about a year ago but I wanted to mod a DS4 controller using the Low Profile Cherry MX switches but the keys kept getting delayed along with the keyboards using them. The keyboards eventually did release but I've been waiting to try to buy the key switches in a batch rather than buying a low profile mech keyboard to tear apart. I'm glad someone finally did this as it shows the potential of just how far a controller can be pushed for ultra performance. Great Job man I love it.

why do you have 2 cables per button?
heres a tip:
use only one cable for every button's ground connection and use one cable for each button's signal (on/off)
you will have way less wires coming out of your controller
Edit: Sorry, i was wrong. A keyboard scans by checking every column for every line so not every key has its "ground" pin. it would still get rid of a few wires if you would use a single wire per line OR single wire per column.

I’ve always wanted an elite controller but never had enough money for one, but at the same time I wanted to switch to kb&m. I feel now I can’t really progress any further on controller and kb&m feels uncomfortable. This controller looks like the best of both worlds and I feel this is what is will complete that missing feeling I get. Sorry for the long paragraph but I just wanted to get across how I feel😂 Keep up the good vids!

Loved this video loved how it showed you making it and putting it together I had an elite controller but it broke just recently after me owning it for only 5 months I was annoyed bc I thought it would last at least a year but yes this controller looks amazing would love to use it and own it and I wish a company would actually make this type of thing it would help so many people grow in skill and actually be able to compete against pro players

Mechanical triggers
Keyboard with look stick
Left stick that pops up super fast
Gaming chair with controller built into armrests
you know you can get this controller but better from razer and you can get scroll wheel reset and weapon slots using antimicro
I think it would be an interesting idea to give it to a controller god who can properly take advantage of it.

But they can afford to get the really good controllers(astro c40 etc.)/they just play claw

I love this. This is literally genius. Your ability to deconstruct and reengineer this remote is beyond me. More people need to know about you. I built my first pc off of youre videos and now im building one for someone else aswell. Thanks for the content and keep it up.
As cool as this is, personally, I just use the strikepack eliminator mod pack on my controller. It is actually different to the regular strikepack as it has 4 buttons instead of 2. All four buttons rest on the tips of your fingers and require the direct imput of your fingers to prevent the accidental clicks. It works similarly to how you made your controller and the only difference is the type of button used. I've used this pack for about a year now and is really nice imo. But as someone who knows little about mechanical stuff and other things like that and hopes to learn more in the future, I think what you made is really cool and your hard work definitely deserves some notice to the people who want to do this kind of stuff.👍

I use an Xbox Elite S1, and after using it for a while, I don't have a problem with the ergonomics or misclicks. I actually use both my fore and middle fingers for bumpers and triggers, so I use my ring and pinkie fingers for the paddles.
