I LOVE YOU BOTS SO MUCH! Comment what you guys want me to make/built next!
Tech Yesterday yo are you for real that the 250 budget pc actually gives 144 fps
Been looking for this for over a decade now. Really surprised how companies drop the ball on this seemingly obvious option. Logitech actually caught it and still dropped it with the G13 by not knowing what "opposable" in opposable thumb means... and then not supporting their own best ideas by discontinuing it and making worse stuff. Excellent build, if sold, I'd buy.
same. i have a jacked up hand.mk is a pain for me..this would make my life so much easier..i dont understand how this isnt on the market
Gaming peripherals are ruined by a number of things:
Completely absurd prices (this needs no further elaboration)
All of the fancier stuff requiring software from the company running at all times it's being used, often for little to no benefit when this could be worked around (this essentially makes using the hardware impossible on anything but a PC that has everything installed).
Remap functions only working for other buttons you have (existing keys on a keyboard, or worse, something like Scuf where their extra buttons are only mappable to buttons already on the controller somewhere else, why even have face buttons if you just expect everyone to use the back ones)
Patents stopping anyone who could have implemented something someone else did poorly from doing it better (see again: Scuf, who somehow managed to patent back buttons)
Not doing really obvious things: Back buttons were obvious years before scuf was a thing because your thumb is expected to be on sticks, but jump off of them to press other buttons while your other fingers do nothing in a standard grip. Putting a touchscreen on a gamepad was obvious the first time someone used a Nintendo DS, and thus putting a touchscreen or mousepad on a keyboard became obvious at about the same time. Literally anything Nintendo has done since the DS (except the Wii U's main pad) should have been something someone was trying to make into a fully realized PC (or mobile), and everything in that department is half-baked or overpriced. Trying to put more things for the hand to do on a one-hand joystick, mouse, or keypad (be it trackpads, side-buttons, trackballs or an analog stick) would have been the only other real place worth exploring, if we aren't looking into VR controls or trying to do things with your feet.
There's so many obvious things that just don't exist, and the closest you'll get if you'll get are hundreds (very explicit plural here) of dollars. Azeron actually did something cool, which was right up the alley of something I was looking for, but when that was first available I saw that at more than $300, so it absolutely wasn't happening. Like, even if it really seems like it's exactly what someone's looking for, at prices like that, people need to know it will work properly and last a long time (at least I would need assurance, but even then, at a price like that it's just like, I can live without it, or make something to suit my needs).
Also, the fact that any part of Azeron's product is 3D printed tells me that the build quality is nowhere near the asking price, unfortunately.
You can buy 3D printers cheaper than the price of some of these things.
The G13 is really the best shot at bringing this concept to life so far. I'm doing whatever I can to keep mine running. I dont see how LGTech cna still support it software wise but discontinue it totally. If they ever come back I'm buying 3.
@@skizilla Yeah. I've since moved on to Azeron keypads and haven't looked back. They are exactly what I was looking for and then some. Highly recommended. Along with reWASD software.
This is my favourite channel because I love the ideas you come up with.
Please make a tutorial on how to make this 🙇♂️🙇♂️
People would buy this off of you literally. You need to start a business of this stuff.
Chase your bag sir!
@@albertolawncare5563 not exactly, it doesn't have an analog stick. the dpad is really shitty on it. the logitech g13 is better overall if you can find one. I have 2... yes, it has membrane keys... but it's still a great device.
@@squirts1 obviously not exactly, this video is off an item custom made. Nothing will be exactly.
Having said that there is a gadget that accomplished this mod with a small clip under the keyboard. I forget the make but "itsjerian" just did a review of it. Includes analog with button function.
@@raguellagrande7344 the logitech g13 is essentially exactly this... it has a real analog stick. also, the razer was mentioned in the video as having a shit dpad so it doesnt really make much sense to mention it in comments as a viable alternative.
that little joystick you put below your keyboard looks super awkward. i can tell you from experience with things like this... you will end up with a lot of thumb fatigue from the thumb being so far outstretched and you cannot reach the number keys.
Now this is a whole different level! Really would love to try this, and btw your vids are so creative and that’s what makes you unique. Live it keep it up.
I've been using a Logitech joystick keyboard since my Warcraft days. I specifically got that one because it was an actual joystick and not a D pad joystick hybrid. It is called the Logitech G13.
I wish there were more of these available. I found a cheap Chinese knock off on eBay and Wal-Mart but I don't know how good they work
I love my G13. I even wrote a program to use it with my MacBook. I will not be able of playing WoW if on day my G13 dies.
Yes officer this man right here, breakin' laws of physics.
My Azeron would like a word
I do need one of these you are amazing.
This needs to be put in to production
Damn bro back at it again good to see still you grinding at UA-cam bro remember me when you get big
You know a UA-camr called itsJerian shouted you out around one month a go on the joystick mouse vid
This was really fun to watch and really interesting, my thoughts are that the W,A,S,D keys are quicker inputs compared to a joystick, some Games compensate for this by having a slower side to side strafing time. I've noticed this in Halo Reach when using a keyboard. If I spam the strafe keys I am basically standing still, therefore I must regulate my inputs and do it slower in order to achieve the results I want.
This is however super cool! And I am really looking forward into seeing the progress on the mouse controller, do a kickstarter and I am backing that shit right away.
Super nice video! Awaiting to see the pedals
Yo this the best thing ever when I saw this notifications I was hyped love content can't wait for the $300 pc so I can use to play fortnut love the content keep it up
Can't wait to see flea reaction to the controller and it's jerian to the keyboard you made in this video if he watches this hopefully B)
Could you please sell these I might switch from ps4 to pc and I would love this.
you're absolutely insane and i love it
Dude u have grown sm! the controller scroll wheel and joystick mouse videos really popped off and now you have brought us this beauty. Keep up the grind man!
“It will double your edit speed”
I'm thinking of tryna make this myself. How exactly do you attach the joystick, can I just by a separate analog stick and connect that to the keyboard or is it more complicated than that, thanks!
Yo can u do a super budget setup video. Like with an upgraded dell optiplex, a gaming keyboard, mouse and monitor
Tech yesterday:says*I looked everywhere*
Beaks using the thanos gauntlet:*Im bout to end this mans whole career*
The amount of ignorant people thinking this *Joystick Keyboard Hybrid* idea is new is just amazing to me.
Bruh, you need to do a kickstarter project from this
also: holy f did you harm yourself for this come on, i know we are ZA WARUDO to you but care about yourself first
That looks so sick nice job ✊🏽💪🏽
Me:What do you play on?
Tech Yesterday:Yes
IV BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR AGES !
Can you PLEASE make a *detailed* build guide for this I already started buying parts for your $300 budget pc and I really want to build this too.
I was literally for this. I'm so glad its out
Bro this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen
Been waiting for this one!
Yes sirrr I’ve been waiting for this🔥🙏🙃
Since you're doing a controller with scroll wheel and paddles, I reccomend extremerate remap kit over another like XQ Gamings due to the buttons being remapable. However I will say the button caps feel a way where its flushed. Bottom buttons are good t ok use but the top may feel not as good to press.
That joystick mouse needs a thumb-loop, so the thumb is more secure and doesnt slide off. I did a similar thing when I mounted an older version of the razer keypad on top of a cut-down joystick. made a open bracelet so that it was secured to the wrist. Made all the difference!
You’ve inspired me to make this creation hopefully I’m as successful as u were thanks 🙏
Is it possible for you to make more joystick mouses or anything like that for people to buy
This is awesome. I use the Razer tartarus and it's micro switches keep breaking/failing with their joystick. Why they haven't changed it to the joystick you used is beyond me.
Insane video, tx.
Hey, love the idea! I'm going to do my own version of it but with a few changes, would be awesome if could send you pictures/video when it's done.
Can’t wait for the pc build vids
the splitfish frag chuck and the Ps3 move controller have been my go tos for the past few years , I just wish more games had the simultaneous input option . my splitfish has to emulate wasd in warzone leading to some weird moments
Me: do you play on Keyboard or Controller?
Tech Yesterday: yes...
Oh my- Dude your crazy!
That’s lowkey sick
Really an inspiration I wish they would manufacturer your gadgets
Hi man so, I have some experience with soldering and wanted to say that when soldering wires u should keep the striped part of the wire short so it doesnt short or break off completely but for a beginner ur honestly pretty good at soldering.
Great vid as always.
Friend: Do you play keyboard and mouse or controller
Tech Yesterday: It’s Complicated
dude i seriously need something like this. second video in the roll and im beyond impressed. i WISH i could do something like this. ive went through 3 tartarus's in about 2 years. they use "kahli" micro switches and they fail quickly. cant even find a place to sell them aside from aliexpress.
Haven’t watched yet but I know it’s gonna be 🔥🔥🔥
When is the next budget build coming out
This is something I’m looking into as someone that’s moved from controller to KNB but “seems” like a smoother transition for me
Finally a new video I was wating till u uploaded
-Normal keyboard- Tech yesterday: yes
You finally posted I love Ur videos so much 😍
when you position the stick so your thumb and forefinger naturally pinch and control it together i think you'll find it much easier for extended use.
Person:so do you play on controller
Tech yesterday:well yes but actually no
Love this setup. Its what I want for a loong time.
Look on Arduino pro micro or teensy 2.0. They allow You to keep small footprint and can handle all buttons You need and few analog axis. They popular in custom keyboard building community.
Is there a way to get a hold in this hybrid, i would like to test it in a various servers and configuration options
lmao got me with that intro . u turned urself into a sweat
So is there ever going to be anything like a Kickstarter for any of these projects? I'd buy in.
Your channel is definitely worth waiting a month for every upload keeping it real
Good content bro
Would you be able to make a controller where the right stick used for aiming is replaced with a touchpad?
Yo would be cool to program that joystick to the scroll function, like scrolling every axis would be really useful for editing video like scrolling sideways and height at the same time would be insane. I would use it for that porpoise also for music production and 3d software and even photoshop for drawing just imagine...
The joy of playing on PC is its an open platform... you are open to use whatever impute device floats your boat ... I've been using a G13 gamepad with stick for over a decade
Actually game changing,Wow. Just get Sony to have your paddled scroll wheel controller be licensed and your set. I mean there are so many things you could add like customized scroll wheel resistance, trigger stops it is innovative, nice vid.
Hi. I'm a new subscriber to your channel. How does this work with games like Apex Legends? I'm planning to build one but the problem is that I don't have the money to test whether it works or not. Can you test it and other of your custom peripherals out in Apex Legends, please?
Omg this is insane
Bro zip love your content so much bro! Also any suggestions for where I can get a cheap ass pc case? For my 30p$ build? Rob really doesn’t matter to me!
What i wouldnt give to have this for my more action based mmos, wasd is fine for tab targetting mmos like WoW, but for modern mmos where positioning and movement matter way more because hitboxes are now a thing, this keytroller would be amazing for mmos
Especially for looter shooters like destiny 2
damn i rate that you should make a store selling these unique items
Sooo when are you mass producing these?
Yo tech yesterday.
What's your keybinds? Not all of them just like your edit bind mainly.
Does somebody smell a Flee reaction video coming?
ITS FINALLY OUT BRO GOOD JOB I CANT WAIT TILL 100k 😍💯💯
Yes! I just want this. Simple keypad with 360 degree analog stick. Why is that too much to ask for? Would definitely purchase something like this.
I know this is a late comment, but for the optiplex build you did a while back with the Rx 580, would I be able to buy the i3 2nd gen model and upgrade the cpu to a i5 9400f?
You are the best bro keep up your channel will grow up so fast
do you build to sell, or make an instructional how to build joystick keyboard hybrid video?
how does it allow u to turbo build? When u use controller movements or buttons with mouse it turns off turbo builds ;(
Hey remember your vid connecting the laptop to te monitor, external Gpu and psu. What are the pros and cons of this? Could you make a tutorial on how to connect everything? And would it work with a Ryzen cpu laptop? Because I have the asus tuf gaming FX705DY and altough it's really a great laptop I wanted to boost its performance... (and I know for that money I could have built a good desktop PC it's just a travel a bunch) Thanks
Did you see the Asus Chakram. It reminds me of the mouse you made. Also i think there is something big here that you are doing, keep up these videos. I wanna see you make it big. Good luck friend.
Hey tech yesterday so I have built this keyboard highbrid of urs but I can’t get the inputs to stop switching back n forth from keyboard to controller . how do u get it to stop switching ???
Can you pls make a build guide on this or the analog stick mouse
Bro this is so cool! I can only imagine what you could get done with the help of a 3D printer!!
The video we've been waiting for
Man I had this idea like 2 years ago to play Wow with because I don't use wsad to move.. I like how you but the analog stick Horizontal I was thinking of something vertically but that makes more sense great video too by the way definitely gave it a like...
Came from Flea I also subbed you should send him more of your amazing tech
Him : Makes all these things I did not even think about.
Me: I use double movement binds
Good job tech we came a long way
Flea: I need this
It's like a Tartarus but with an analog stick instead of a clicky d-pad hatswitch. Honestly, that's a good move I wish my Tartarus Pro could do analog out for the hatswitch, keep up the good work!!
“WHATS UP YOU BOTS” hahaha i love it
MY BOY FLEA!!!
YEAH WHAT HE SAID
Yo wassup
dude I watched 24/7 and you call me a bot I’m sad
UK Nova YEAH
