That’s the power of Love… for a great soundtrack that is lol. They have the ability to bring out feelings beyond the movie for which they were made. But of course you know this based on what you wrote.
@@johnprudent3216 I often think almost too much effort goes into soundtracks for just a 2 hour airing once. I love the daft punk soundtrack for tron and I have listened to it many times and appreciate it for its cleverness, but its almost disposable these days.
Yes, he is still composing scores today but in my opinion his scores don't have the same impact on me as his earlier work, most of which now sound very generic Avengers, Iron Man etc.
Although there was by far not as much music heard as recorded in the picture, Alan Silvestri's theme for "Back To The Future" raised to be one of the most memorable soundtrack cues of modern filmmaking. Enjoy!
That's pretty common for composers to take motifs from their other works and insert them elsewhere. Think Richard Strauss. Also, it's common to "lift" segments from other composer's music, too. That' walks a fine line, though, in the legal world of intellectual property.
I'm big fan of your soundtrack suites. My favorite soundtrack from Alan Silvestri is Forrest Gump but this is also a great composition from him.Thank you so much.
Dear Fred, you have a wonderful channel. Congratulations, once again! I have been catching up and listening to all the videos that you uploaded in the last six months or so. I am now fully up to date, and delighted with the material that you have been sharing. Great work...which brings lots of happiness to us UA-camrs!
Thank you very much, Ismael. Always nice to read such kind words. If there is any score thats not online yet, feel free to request it. :-) Thank you! Fred

Ja genau den. Ich habe mir den Soundtrack noch einmal angehört und es ist doch mehr ein original score als bloße Adaption der Wagner Musik (so wie ich es in Erinnerung hatte). Ein Video gibts nächste Woche. Fred

Either it was the last episode or the second to last episode, I know that Mike and the gang were this store and Dustin and Luke’s sister were in the mall
Thank you, Fred! Forgive me for pestering, but do you have soundtracks for Kirk Douglas SPARTACUS, EXCALIBER, THE SEARCHERS? (dang, dropped my list, brb, lol.....)
Hello Nance, requests are always welcome! Spartacus and The Searchers are out, you will find them if you search for them at UA-cam. However I had plans to redo the Searchers, using the new, extremely great sounding CD, that was released two years ago. Excailbur is mainly not an original score but why not doing it? Try to do it in the following weeks, so stay tuned. Fred
Hey Fred! My family started a UA-cam channel and we aren’t making profit yet, probably ever. I just like to use soundtracks in family videos. Are these soundtracks available to use without copywrite? Thanks for any information you can give.

Here is future me having strong emotions connecting me back to me in 1985 as strong as if it was yesterday.

The power of friendship, enduring against the forces of chaos, time and fate that act in opposition to a future we want to create for ourselves.
Alan Silvestri is the MAN when it comes to epic scores!!
Yes, he is still composing scores today but in my opinion his scores don't have the same impact on me as his earlier work, most of which now sound very generic Avengers, Iron Man etc.
What's your favorite ost by him?
@@martymcfly5434 Aren't you supposed to be in 1985?
His score form Van Helsing is brilliant. Just not one to listen to whilst driving. Not if you want to keep your license that is.
@@martymcfly5434 Sadly, that can be said of a lot of the great recent film composers, John Williams and Hans Zimmer come first to mind.

I'd have to say one of the most universally recognized movie soundtracks to date.
Without a doubt!😎👍
Trilogia perfeita sem defeitos e a trilha sonora incrivel!

Hoy la vi otra vez en el cine y la musica fue como siempre genial. Gracias por el video.
There are march segments in BTTF's score that Silvestri cribbed for his later score to Predator.
All composers do this.
There are hints of both this score and the Predator score in Avengers: Endgame.
That's pretty common for composers to take motifs from their other works and insert them elsewhere. Think Richard Strauss. Also, it's common to "lift" segments from other composer's music, too. That' walks a fine line, though, in the legal world of intellectual property.
it the authors signature heard in every score he does, I can recognize the composer many times even without knowing anything about a piece...

1985: Back to the Future - Rated PG
Directed By Robert Zemeckis
Music Composed By Alan Slivestri
Orchestra Performed By Hollywood Studio Symphony
Should've been pg-13
