This is so fascinating. I actually have to go to a Dermatologist soon (haven’t made an appt yet) to find out if a mole I have needs biopsy or if it’s fine. When I was a child I went to several dermatologists about this mole but it’s been over 20 years so I want to go recheck on it for my anxiety. Thank you for what you do!
First of all, I want to say that your video has inspired me so much and has made me sure that I also want to become a dermatologist. I hope there will also be a part 2 of a day in the life as a dermatologist because I really enjoyed your video and it has really motivated me to become one in the future! 🥰❤️

But I do love my patients and I fight for them. I fight with the insurances for whatever the patients need and I have never lost yet. It’s such a high!

Simona, you're an inspiration! I appreciate the detailed video and being able to get a glance at what to expect in this field. I'm currently in medical school to become a CMA to work in a dermatology office.

@imperial.dermatology Hello there Dr. I was wondering if you might know can a ripped torn or elongated earlobe earpiecing scar ever be completely removed?
@@imperial.dermatology Hello again thank you for that information Dr. Bartos I actually have another question that's important I need to have one of my earlobes repaired because they are uneven and I had an accident with my right earlobe it got caught on my sweater when I took it off one night before I went to bed it pulled and left a slight little slit were the piercing hole is I don't like the way it looks it's been 6 years and the little slit is still there it hasn't gone away so I need to have it fixed first before I can get it repierced but if I do get it repaired can normal ear piercing holes be closed with cosmetic surgery and essentially make it appear as if the piercings never occurred? Is there great concern for abnormal scarring (hypertrophic, keloid) with an earlobe repair? What is the healing timeline/appearance afterwards? The earlobe feels like there are small bumps within which I assume is scarring of the piercing canal. Would those bumps be removed with the procedure? Lastly, is patient satisfaction high for this type of procedure?
As a guy going through psychological therapy i am so not even envy for this woman, but just confused. How a person can live so happily.
