I haven't noticed any big loss. I have a 30 mile drive each way to work and it's mix of city and highway. I usually get 29 or 30 mpg. Randomly while the computer was still learning I would get 25mpg on the same trip.
I’ve been running mine on an 18 GTI for a few months. 91 octane setting and that’s all we have where I live. I get the same 29-33mpg average as before. Highway runs will still show over 40 at times. It drives exactly like stock until you put your foot in it. I do notice the computer is pulling timing and not allowing the full power to be used when it is 90-110 degrees outside and the A/c is running. No check engine lights. It is a great upgrade for that extra power when you need it
does your cane have the fast on top of it? because if so, that's badass. also i need to read up on this module, seems similar to the JB1 and im very interested for my mk7.
Can you clarify the HP/torque numbers on the dyno chart? Audi lists the B9 2.0T petrol engine as having 252hp, but I'm guessing that's not "at the wheels" like the dyno is, right?
Our numbers are wheel horsepower, Audi's numbers are rated at the crank. Additionally, our dyno is a Mustang dyno which tends to read lower than other dynos (read up on this if you're interested.) That's why you're seeing a difference in our stock dyno graph vs. what Audi advertises. Hope this helps!
ECS Tuning , I appreciate the feedback. Looking forward to giving my new allroad a bit more kick. Gonna need new tires on it if I'm going to add this module 😉😁
Is the engine bay and accessibility almost the same in this A4 as in a 2016 S3? I ask because I’ve been researching alternatives to flashing because I bought my S3 and put a ton of additional full warranty until 2024, so I’m not looking to flash through Uni or apr and get flagged for TD1. I checked out the JB4, but though it gives more power and torque, it’s a lot more difficult to install as it covers more sensors. I saw this install for the neuspeed module before on a Golf R, but getting to boost sensor looked really tough because of location. If the boost sensor location on the A4 is almost the same as the my S3, I would definitely go with neuspeed.
Mark Anthony I just picked up my s3 this week and debating also between The neuspeed pm and the jb4. I’m loaded with warranty also and won’t do the apr cause of the td1 code. You access the bottom sensor like the golf r, at the bottom underneath the splash guard. Probably will lean towards the neuspeed as it looks easier. Hopefully there’s no code at the dealer
Andy Agostino I ended up talking to a friend who had imported the DTUK power module from England for his new S5. Swore that there was a very noticeable difference after install. Shipping was 2 business days by air, included in the price. After installation, it’s like night and day. My S3 is a much different beast! Inbox the DTUK Facebook page if you’re interested. Andrew, the owner, is very responsive and helpful. Also, unlike the JB4, you can get the DTUK with the Bluetooth option extra for peanuts in comparison. The JB4 Bluetooth option is an extra piece and costs around 150$, whereas the DTUK option was an extra 10-20$, and is programmed that way, no extra hardware.
How many miles did you drive after this was installed or did you dyno it immediately. Any issues with the stock computer learning this mod and adjusting it out in time?
i mean, you definitely butchered the graph with the colours. The dotted lines and solid lines are not correct, hard to see which is which. But I see noticeable gains. Thank you
Thanks for the video. What would be the result of using this power module along with the ECS B9 A4 air intake? I have ordered the intake and it should arrive in a few days. Would the result be more of a hp gain? Would it be detrimental to run both? Thanks!
Everyone says piggyback systems don't void your warranty but I was told that if something goes wrong even if you remove it and bring it to the dealership, once they plug your car to they scan it will show them all the readings that are over the factury level. Example boost, timing etc. Can anyone confirm?
Giulio Ferrara increased boost will not be visible! But more fuel will, the ECU doesn‘t know about the real boost (thats exactly what this module does, it tricks the ECU) It automaticaly increases fuel quantity according to the readings of the O2 Sensor in order to not run to lean and damage itself! This is visible in the ECUs memory, but I doubt any dealership will notice!
ECS Tuning just wonderin i got the package on my door thanks to ECS the shipment was super fast i looked up the process of installation. i have a DV+ installed to my stock dv valve it wont affect it in anyway does it? thanks in adv for the input b4 i install this to my car
We haven't tested the DV+ and Power Module together, but there should not be compatibility issues. Enjoy your added power and be sure to give your feedback!
I have seen text saying it is for B8 A4 but when I go to sites like ECS it says it is not compatible. I would like to know as well. Better for under warranty vehicles.
Max Cichon So are you saying that it will be noticeable? I'm new to this and just bought my car a month ago, so I'm sincerely curious about this power module and if it's a difference that I would feel.
IMHO, having a $700 APR tune, and the 300 WHP (80 HP increase)it provides, a 35 HP bump will definitely be noticeable. Add to that a good cold air intake, and you should see 40-45 HP increase.
Adrian B Hey I live in Germany and I drive my whole life only Audi cars so if you do it here in Germany you can forget the warranty on the car. I know what I write very well. Such shit is not necessary for German cars because it is known that the most reliable and best quality made of any other car brand.
The whole point is you just take it off before service and they will never know, it does not change the actual ECU map at all, it just tricks the system into giving you more boost... and yes, German engines are awesome but *because* of that, they leave a LOT of power on the table that won't affect reliability simply by adding this much power, which isn't a ton but still nicely noticeable.
They really should be running the +7 setting if using 93 octane. Neuspeed has said this perfectly fine for a daily driver. If tracking the car then you should use 100 octane. I imagine youd see around 270 WHP/300 ft/lbs with the +7 setting.

ECS Tuning when will a Golf Alltrack version be available?
ECS Tuning hi does it fits in 2018 a5 sportback?
What if i have a catless downpipe?
For anybody with questions, you can use it on the 7 psi switch as long as you’re running 93 and not at the track, it definitely pulls hard
Oh my god it's Zach! What a funny surprise. Great install video!
Finally I found a channel for me
So this is what zach jobe did before donut.
Are there any real #'s on MPG loss? I'm curious considering the cost of gas now since Bidenflation. Thanks.

Do you have to get a Cold Air Intake as well once you have installed the power module?
WORKS ON ANY 2.O MQB ENGINE 2018 A5 2015 S3 2017 GTI..ETC.......YOU'RE WELCOME ECS JHC!!
Those dyno number Is that on 5 or 7 psi??
Does it make the DV sound any louder because of the increased boost?
Any ideas on what would happen if you ran a 1.8 module on a 2.0 engine?
Holy shit it’s Jobe??
Is that Zach the money pit host from donut media I love donut media
Yup
does your cane have the fast on top of it? because if so, that's badass.
also i need to read up on this module, seems similar to the JB1 and im very interested for my mk7.
so if i have a lease. I can add this to my car?
Nationwide Auto World Yep. Just take it off for service and when you turn the car back in.
HI EVERYONE, I have a 2012 GTI, will this work for it ? is it basically like going stage 1 ?
can i do this for my audi a5 2013 2.0 with an APR stage 2 tune already in it
How much more power and torque does this add?
Can you clarify the HP/torque numbers on the dyno chart? Audi lists the B9 2.0T petrol engine as having 252hp, but I'm guessing that's not "at the wheels" like the dyno is, right?

Can you please comment on the, increased Torque output with this device?
That's a decent bump in power...👀👍™
Can you please do a video on how to take off the airbag from the audi a4 b9 2017

Do you have for TDI 2.0 diesel with 150 hp ??
How many miles did you drive after this was installed or did you dyno it immediately. Any issues with the stock computer learning this mod and adjusting it out in time?
@Erik W This is exactly the kind of comment I've been looking for.
@Erik W still the same gains on the A3? A little late to the game. My A3 has 74k miles. Looking to get some mods going

Will this work on my 2018 Jetta Sport 1.8T?
why didn't you test the stock vehicle first?
Can we run this together with an ECU flash?
No, you cannot stack the two of them together.
Anybody happen to know why they say you can’t have an aftermarket diverter valve when using this?
i mean, you definitely butchered the graph with the colours. The dotted lines and solid lines are not correct, hard to see which is which. But I see noticeable gains. Thank you
Good vid
Found it difficult to locate the boost sensor on b9 a4 with stock intake - any pointers will be heavily appreciated. Thanks
It’s right under coolant tank. You can’t miss it
I have a 2019 FWD A4 (150 hp). Does this work for my car?
Hi I have the same car and yes it does! Love the module makes the car so much more fun to drive 👍
Thanks for the video. What would be the result of using this power module along with the ECS B9 A4 air intake? I have ordered the intake and it should arrive in a few days. Would the result be more of a hp gain? Would it be detrimental to run both? Thanks!
I would guess an extra 5-8 HP.

Is there a module available for a 2016 VW GLI SE?
Yes, this is the correct Neuspeed Power Module for your 2016 GLI: goo.gl/msNTvB
do you have any dyno data for the NPS on the Golf R M7-7.5 or the 8V S3?
I ran the NPM with my MK7 Golf R DSG with just an Intake, at the drag strip, and ran a 12.7 1/4 mile if that helps.
nice - did you happen to get DA on that run?!?
does this work with 1.8t 8v a3? really digging this module
Yes, this module will work with your 8V A3 1.8T: goo.gl/sXpiDq

Does it fits in a5 sportback 2018?
Yes... www.ecstuning.com/b-neuspeed-parts/neuspeed-power-module/64.10.15~neu/
so in a track situation it would be better to shift at or around 4k
Does anyone makes the module for vw1.4T.
Is the cold air intake needs to remapping?
No
it works on gti mk7 '15 ??
Yes, this is the correct Power Module for your MK7 GTI: goo.gl/sXpiDq
Does this work with the b8 a4 as well?
I have seen text saying it is for B8 A4 but when I go to sites like ECS it says it is not compatible. I would like to know as well. Better for under warranty vehicles.
Just looked up again, they have another one that does say it works ES#3171202
This is the correct Neuspeed Power Module for your B8 A4: goo.gl/P5LMNN
Is this compatible with 2018 Audi A5 B9 Sportback 2.0T TFSI QUATTRO?
yes www.ecstuning.com/b-neuspeed-parts/neuspeed-power-module/64.10.15~neu/
What happened to your leg Zack? I hope it's not too bad
Hope so too. At least he has a "fast" walking stick.
Selling mine if anyone is looking for one
blaze this purp hey are you still selling this and why?
crumbla it’s for sale. Because I got a down pipe.
Still for sale?
@@kevinst.pierre9651 I have one for sale if you are still looking for this! It was very noticeable, I no longer have a use for mine though. Thanks
@@Fortizillehow much you asking?
35 HP doesn't seem like much. What about an MK7? Are they getting more horsepower out of those?
35 HP is 16% increase. And the MQB platform IS the MK7.
Max Cichon So are you saying that it will be noticeable? I'm new to this and just bought my car a month ago, so I'm sincerely curious about this power module and if it's a difference that I would feel.

Lmao these make 252 hp stock these are set up videos I have one and am questioning if it actually works
This is not true for any electronic engine change if it is not approved by Audi and operated in the Audi service wipes the complete vehicle warranty.
Sinisa Kalicanec you don't know what you are talking about
Adrian B

Weak numbers
I mean, it's cheap, easy, safe, and easily reversible. Really not bad for someone not looking to spend a lot on a full tune.
They really should be running the +7 setting if using 93 octane. Neuspeed has said this perfectly fine for a daily driver. If tracking the car then you should use 100 octane. I imagine youd see around 270 WHP/300 ft/lbs with the +7 setting.
V.Vega I agree. Even though a full flash is really only 200$ more, this is still better in the sense that it won’t come back to bite you in the ass.
With regards to TD1.
Does it work with 2019 GLI 2.0?
Yes it does - but since engine is transversely mounted - you might need to access the boost sensor from under the car in the front.
Would this work with a 2017 A4 B9 1.4T FWD ?
