Removing Neuspeed Power module 64.10.14D and installing Burger Tuning JB4 group 4 gen 3 VAG.
Major difference between these two in my car! I’m very pleased. After initial adjustment I’ve got smooth useable power and no engine codes. I’m still in the process of learning to read the logs and determining if my car is functioning perfectly.

Thanks for this. As for the neuspeed- did you keep it on the high power all the time? If so did you use 93 or higher gas?
Yw! I went back and forth a bit, but def 93 any time I was on ‘high’ setting. Ultimately, I used it on LOW with 93 most of the time because that gave the smoothest power. On high I found it to be a bit jerky.
Hey Passat brutha. Enjoyed your channel. You’r the reason I got the JB4!!! I have a 2018 sel and like yourself, never planned on modding when I bought mine either (got t boned in my 1st) but got bored one night and off I went! Thought I was getting too old for this kinda stuff again. But boys will always be boys I guess 😎. Been a blast since I installed it 2 weeks ago. Wanted more so I just put in a Bms pedal tuner and WOW!!! Definitely should check out if you haven’t. Pairs really nicely with the JB4. Next move is H&R rsb followed by some KONI’s special actives and I think I’ll call it a day for my little grey sleeper. Never would have imagined a Passat could be this fun. Owe it all to you my man. Awesome bro love to hear that! Yeah the pedal tuner has been on my radar for a while. Too many parts on the radar it’s hard to choose what next , but probably doing pcv valve and trans fluid myself next

Yeah I sold it right after buying the JB4. Neuspeed can be had on eBay for under 200 bucks used tho. I’d still suggest burger tuning over it.
When ever you remove batter on VW and reconnect you get all sorts of codes after ward. Even when battery dies.
How do you know what jb4 to get they have everything but a vw one on the website
The burger tuning site does have all the VAG group tuners. If you just shoot them a customer service email, George at BMS will tell you exactly which one you need. Group 4 vw is the tuner I have for

can you change the mappings at all if u don’t have the connect kit?
i just got the jb4 but no connect kit, i feel like they should include it on ECS
I think without the connect kit you have to uses a usb cable
Yeah BMS data cable from jb4 into a laptop or android
Did you cut the red wire to tap the blue wire into it?
No the connector has a little needle in it that stabs into the center of the wire when you tighten it
@@DADMOBILE_Garage the posi tap has a needle in it? My kit didn’t come with a post tap so I’m trying to figure out how to plug in that afr wire
Do you have 1 o2 sensor as well just a question
There is one sensor under the car right near tje catalytic converter. That’s the one that causes codes from the Downpipe. I think there maybe another sensor upstream somewhere but never had a code from that one

I have a 2015 LE Passat 1.8t with the JB4, CTS turbo Intake and Dp, Magna flow exhaust and just wondering if your engine burns any oil? I’ve had everything installed for about 2 months and just had to add a quart of oil. First time I had to add oil in between changes so just curious if you’ve experienced this with your mods. Thanks
I def lose some oil, it’s not consistent but I have had to add almost a quart between oil changes before. Constant wide open throttle seems to make it worse of course. If I drive like a normal human it barely loses any. A quart of oil between oil changes can still be “ok” on a Volkswagen from my understanding.
I have a fair amount of oil in my intake from the PCV, including seepage around the tube that connects to the intake, and a little bit of oil seepage around my oil cap too.

Neuspeed is easy to install but the JB4 or even JB1 is better
Is this ok to install on a stock 2021 Jetta S?

Have you gotten a down pipe or a cat back exhaust yet?
No I need to do a few maintenance things first. I seem to have worn out my engine mounts AGAIN, and I need to flush my transmission. Probably a few months before I can get a down pipe
I was going to get the JB1 from burger, lmk how you like the JB4
Love it! Still learning to read the logs. Way better than the Neuspeed module. I probably would have been fine with the JB1 but I was buzzed when I came across it on eBay late and night and impulse purchased. Happy tho.
Hey bro I got the 2019 Passat turbo, how much hp are you pushing now, I’m trying to get software upgrade but every where I look check tuner shop they always say, there is nothing for my 19 Passat model that my car is too new. But is 3yrs old so I don’t get it. Any Tips?
I’m guess 170 factory number plus 35hp for Jb4 and maybe another 5-10 on intake. - probably 215 at most. I have the crappy tiptronic trans that can only handle about 250hp. Hopefully you can get something for that 2.0 soon.
Is yours the 2.0? I have seen guys talking about it. Have you looked at all the piggy back chip tunes?

Yep unfortunately it’s the 09g tip trans. The weakest of the VW offerings as far as I know. Wish I’d known a few details. I would have spent 1500 more on the r line with DSG next to it on the lot. Alas, I was not thinking about modifying/power when I bought this car. Just replacing a failing commuter car.

@@2eyes1see67 yep 6speed auto. Looks like the same one. I may have added 60hp to my car and don’t see any trans issues yet, but I don’t drive crazy. Probably won’t worry about power any more though, just refining ride and appearance.
