My idea for my first ever home away from home was a minimalistic aesthetic. As you can see I didn't do too much decor. Modern apartment with a minimalistic appearance.
Your place is beautiful but please be careful with showing what apartment u live at and the door number! I see way too many videos here on UA-cam with beautiful young women (especially black women) being killed because of some weirdo stalking them or something just please always consider your safety first. Beautiful place doll 😘

I think that was just the number for the unit she was touring because I didn't see her show the number for her actual unit she moved into🤷🏾♀️

Camden Homes are beautiful, but not as cheap as she got hers. They're more like $1,750 studios and more. Save your money and make sure you have a secured job before you even attempt to move down here!

Beautiful first apartment shown; plus on having a washer and dryer in apartment and plus on the outside balconies or porch connection are loved to stand and or sit on to enjoy for different reasons.

They must’ve had a special I’ve lived in Atlanta my whole life and the cheapest I’ve seen a Camden apartment is like 1600. Before y’all move here it’s EXPENSIVE and it’s going up so I’d think about that also the traffic is horrendous especially around construction (which is everywhere)

Back when I thought I wanted to live in Atlanta, I came, I saw, I got turned all the way off with that traffic. I stayed myself in SC. I might as well move back to NY if I want to be stressed out by driving.
@@kayw1771 traffic is terrible- in the city, in the suburbs- traffic. Everyone is here from Cali, Texas, Florida and NY.

I live in a house on 9 acres in Atlanta and I pay less than that.
Im sure now that apt is about $1900 for a one bedroom. I live in gwinnett in a 5bedroom with an office and basement and my mortgage $1800

But I honestly love Buckhead. Everything is where I need it to be (in reach) people complain about it being ghetto lol but I think a lot of your troubles will come from where u choose to be and with whom.
As far as affordability, Buckhead is expensive and the prices of rent continues to go up. I really think to live comfortably, you need to make at least 3x the rent. Otherwise you’re going to be struggling.

when its tome to renew that lease it will be going up. I’ve had friends who’s lease went up more than $400 lately when renewing

I’m not understanding this trend with apartments and being excited to move into an apartment vs buying your own home. I don’t understand someone help me understand plus all apartments look exactly the same

The excitement is I was 18 when I moved out my mother house and got my first apartment and now 21 it’s shows you responsibility before jumping into buying your own home because that’s a whole different ball game, especially on your own. Second I’m from NYC I don’t know nothing about lawns and cutting grass personally not for me because I didn’t grow up with it. Third if something in your apartment goes wrong it takes two seconds to call maintenance with no out of pocket cost, as to a house you have to pay for plumbing fixing a roof etc. if you don’t know to do it yourself or know someone who does.
Renting or buying, it’s her place. Let me tell you, as a homeowner, sometimes I would love to be able to call a landlord and say ‘this is broken, can you fix it?’ Cause Home Depot, the landscapers, and everybody else have their hands out for my coins. One isn’t better than the other. Just depends on what you want at whatever stage you are in life.
