Hi guys and dolls! So excited to share my experiences with you all. The LASIK journey is something I wanted to embark on for some time. Before my procedure, I wore glasses and contact lenses. I preferred my glasses over my contacts because the contras dried out my eyes so much they hurt. The glasses don’t work well when wearing makeup or doing makeup. So LASIK seemed to be the only right for me...

Yesss boo! I second this video. I went through this and I haven’t been on social media in months. I believe a lot of ppl are fond of me, but it was my own friend that was wishing on my downfall and partaking in black magic against me. She took it that far and I believe she ruined my past relationships because she couldn’t find a man. Sad indeed. Like sad b*tch, get some confidence 😒
lol idk if you heard about Memphis, TN, but the healthcare is pretty decent, but you won’t be able to make genuine friends there. They will hate on you if they feel you’re doing better or look better than them and ain’t shyt really going on there. It’s very mediocre. I mean, I’m sure thats everywhere but it’s vicious there. They’re both Southern cities, but Atlanta is much better than Memphis.

Well said…. I also don’t tell people my age. Outside of my main income, I keep my additional revenue streams to myself(Folks and even your employers will try and block your blessings,reduce your hours,etc) Business ideas until its implemented(SCORE is free) Who my main squeeze is(They won’t know until I’ve moved past it or it’s official) When I start any new lifestyle journey(diet,fitness,budgeting,relocating) Some things I’m just taking to the grave. My closest friends are my adult children. They have no incentive to be messy and complicate my life)

No lie told on healthcare
Hi new subscriber! I'm 22 and I was born and raised here, and moved further into the heart of the city to go to college downtown GSU; most of my friends that grew up here ended up in the AUC as well and baby it's just a decline for Atlanta as a city in general. Watching it in real time is crazy but I learned from living in Midtown, Buckhead and Vine City, they're trying to renovate the city but there are a lot of issues that need to be fixed at the root. No more new businesses until we fix the roads and the weird insurance/healthcare situation. The social culture is finicky and I blame alot of that on social media, but I got a good solid friend but finding more for us that aren't superficial and still on their sh*t is hard here. We tried, its really disappointing. Like there's good stuff to do but they're all like 20 minutes away from the city lol or if they're in the city parking is crazy and complicated (then every kitchen closes at 10). If you're here to take care of business, its great, its wonderful. But after that its time to go lol. Thank you for the content! Hey girly, thank you for the sub and welcome 🤍 I’ve heard from a lot of natives /ppl who’ve been there for years that the city changed significantly. It sucks that it changed for the worst but I really do hope it gets better. Atlanta has a ton of potential but the ethics just isn’t there. Def happy u have ur friends. Don’t lose yourself up to the potential of making new ones. Good people are there still, they’ll find you.
The healthcare part shocked me. A lot comes to mind but it is too controversial to say online.
I’m not an Atlanta native, but I have lived here full time for almost 8 years. It really depends on you and the type of scene that you’re interested in. There’s definitely lots to do besides go to lounges and clubs because that’s not something that I’m interested in. If you live in the metro Atlanta area, most people commute so everybody’s gonna be hit with traffic. There’s so much traffic within 30-35 minutes north and south of the city. And as for the people that you meet, if you are going to places that don’t align with what you’re interested in of course you’re not gonna find people that you vibe with. You have to put yourself in the situations that you want to be in and surround yourself with the kind of people that match your flow. That’s anywhere you are. All that being said, I’m not tied to Atlanta and don’t necessarily see myself staying here forever
All of this. A lot of people fail to do their research and end up quite disappointed. I tend to advise people to stay outside of the city unless work is extremely close. Idk. 😅

Hey Joey! - I wasn’t hip to the Keith Lee drama til you mentioned it lol. After looking into it, he isn’t wrong. I typically stay away from the celebrity spots/tourist attractions for that primary reason. It’s a bit ridiculous out there if you ask me. Thank you for staying in the loop and I hope you’ve been thriving!
Most of the restaurants in Atlanta are not black-owned. I think that you almost have to go out of your way to visit them. Generally, the food is good and depending on where you go the service is too. I choose my restaurants based on Google reviews and popular food blogs and most of the time they happen to not be black owned businesses. I am not willing to go to a restaurant that I see has mid reviews just because there is a long line of black folks waiting to get in or talking about it online
