My friend lived in Cumberland crossing (2 different buildings). I stayed over a couple times and the buildings are infested with roaches I do not recommend lol
Love your video even though I've been in ATL for 3 years now. For folks asking about affordability, in my eyes, no such thing exist in ATL and a majority of the suburbs around here. Rent goes up every year, even in the oldest and crappiest apt complexes. If you do see something under $1000, more than likely it's not in the best part of town. Speaking from experience. Learned my lesson.
Nelly I dont know if you actually read your comments but this is the first video I've seen of your, I've watched it at least 30 times and due to this video I move in to Pine village Monday. This video has been instrumental in helping find a place in my budget as I'm from a small town where u can get a nice large 1bed 1bath for $300-$400 a month. For anyone still looking I move to Pine Village on 9/13/21 rent is currently $1190
Hi I'm currently apartment hunting for moving from Wisconsin to Atlanta right now. What do you think of the place considering you just moved in even though I know it might take a while to have an opinion
@@Hdan I got my key yesterday and my first night here was last night tonight is number 2. Karla in the office is absolutely lovely she went above and beyond as I literally did everything from IL and had never seen the apartment in person until yesterday just before I picked up my key. Moving to atlanta in a few months, supper excited! I hope they don’t set the rent up higher. I feel like there won’t be any cheap, affordable apartments by the time I move 🥺
Lol yeah it’s already spiking mainly bc of summer and back to school! But they say that it typically goes down around October-January ish because the demand is lower so that could be a plus!

Every since I visited the first time I just had such a strong urge to go back! Plus i'm from North Carolina! I'm over it! The vibe or the opportunities ain't here for me no more. Plus I need to get away from my toxic family. They make me feel so bad about myself and i'm tired of being the problem&in the middle of unecessary drama plus i need new scenery!.. Something in my soul is tugging at me & telling me to move out there! i'm so excited!! I'm manifesting all of it🙌🏽 Comment if you feel the same way!! We in this together sis! Make sure you change the settings though because just looking at glance it be flooded with all the good! Look for the bad honeyyyy!
I love the way you broke down the pros and cons. I'm looking at places in ATL to move to this fall, but all of these places have gone up by $200-300 at least. D:
I live in a place that’s leaning.. I can put a ball in the floor for the cats and it rolls by itself for the cats to go chase lol DON’T MOVE INTO SLANTED PLACES!! That’s in CT btw and looking to move to ATL with my daughter who says she loves the culture and people and that I will too!
Sheeeesh. It’s just a floor model they aren’t showing you the model on the paper. And a lot of agents won’t view apartments with you due to covid they just send you to go view the model to get a feel for the features.
The buzzwords "upgraded units" and the gentrifying of the hood apartments of yester-year, and all these Covid evictions happened. Many of these apartments have switched names and management so many times, it's crazy. New people move in, more money, newer fixtures, same roaches, same ratchets at the corner of every block. Welcome to New Atlanta 😂. It only gets worse from here.
Collier Heights, Stonecrest, mechanicsville, and South Fulton are all great neighborhoods to live in Atlanta. These neighborhoods are 90% black African American neighborhoods.

Fresh air by opening window/s and or porch/balconies door for natural air is most important rather than the not natural made up artificial referred to as air filters are really not a requirement.😘↗The natural air from outside is a requirement of person/s to have to have, person/s can keep a window or two about a half inch open at top or bottom of window during cold days for decent amounts of natural air to flow into their apartment/housing, when warmer outside can open windows higher for more natural air to flow into their apartment beautifully.😘↗For person/s to live in such housing/apartments shown by attached 🎥 video is a luxury to have a closet big or small; and persons can't stop bug's from going into their housing by opening door/s and or bug's and or rodents get in their apartment by cracks of normal wear and tear of buildings cracks by movements of people in the building or house do what's called settling by time of called settling by age of normal wear and tear.😁↗I'd rather see bugs or a rodent in housing that can be removed rather than to not have housing to be outside where there are way more bugs, rodents and other outside that persons going to see or deal with at times while outside or if outside long enough.↗😘Be-CAREFUL, because there are some young and older people that do to list bad of wrongful reviews and or reports about housing and or other as dirty business of political unfair reasons of theirs, they practice unfair about beautiful made-up housing and or other business.😘↗It's fair to not waste person/s time; meaning, if person/s say they are looking for a one bedroom and or only have certain amount of money to pay for monthly rent, then shouldn't do to show person/s apartment/housing that cost more than person/s said to can afford to pay for apartment/housing.
