However to give you an idea of the difficulty, I have read that some pro (I think it was Kai Lenny) waited once 20 minutes for a whitecap to break on him to take off again. You need to wait for a whitecap and takeoff in it, with the push of the whitewater.

They sink to the bottom and you swim to shore.
