I haven't surfed in years because I have to work too much and I'm kinda old. I surfed everyday as a kid in so California and got pretty good..... The spots are sooooo crowded now, I think people go out just to say that they did. Some never even take off.. Anyway.. Thank you Jamie as I live vicariously thru your vlogs especially when you take me in the barrel with you. You deserve all the pay that comes your way because these vlogs are a lot of work... Thank you very much again and I hope you have a great rest of 2023! 🕺🏼

Same, I grew up in Oxnard, with the beach as my backyard. Hueneme, Silver Strand, C st, Hollywood, was my rotation.

Jamie O'Brien is a marketing genius and a great surfer. He knows how to promote himself and his products with the beach public. The Marketing Management classes at University should use him as a role model of how to market well.
I grew up at the beach in Florida and spent every second as a kid in the water. I’m a paraplegic now so I don’t get to the beach very much. Watching these videos makes me remember how powerful the ocean is, that feeling when I was tumbling underwater, and also how I felt the ocean was somehow looking out for me when I was 9 years old.
Dude the rock piles sesh was so sick. Seems like you always thrive on the shadiest waves. It's always my favorite footage from your vlogs. Guess all that practice at keikis is what does it! Psyched!!
This is seriously one of the best channels on UA-cam and I don't even surf! Believe me I've tried. I lived in Puerto Escondido for a year and got in the water only a handful of times. I know that's sacrilegious to even say that but it's true. I skated the whole time though, rebuilt the little half pipe they had there on the beach. Anyway, I spent hours psyched as I watched some of the sickest surfing go down every day, and around Christmas it was amazing how gnarly the waves were.

Your content is perfect after a long day out in the winter cold! Awesome work, it always keeps me PSYCHED! I was able to visit Hawaii a long time ago in the late 70's, but it all comes back quick and has changed so much. I remember the mega waves at Sunset Beach, even took the tour around the Island. (Oahu) I even tried to surf, and since I skateboarded, I could do it but wasn't that good, getting up on the board was a real challenge, you guys make it look so easy!

The only thing more dangerous than pipeline is pipeline car park. We were just there from NZ. Loved it. Never seen anything like it. The locals were lovely!!

These video's are pretty amazing....I'm in Green Bay WI and while people do surf the Great Lakes, the waves here are nothing like these. I'm just in awe at the beauty that comes from surfing. Maybe I'll head to Lake Michigan one of these days and give it a shot! With the thickest wetsuit possible of course. lol

I lost a leash one time cuz waves were firing & I didn't watch what I was doing. I was spotting waves and didn't notice I got sand in the Velcro. First drop, board gone. Swam like 100 yards to get it back.
