You morphed me into a fan. Thanks Underbelly for another transformative lesson. I'll go beat my chest, run out to the streets naked like the true animal I am. Pound to your beats with my air pods.
The convolution reverb with the water drip was what really blew my mind. Lol it’s not some mind blowing thing per se, but just hearing how different it made that percussion loops when you added water to the reverb. It really started to sound like water was on top of that instrument. That was so cool to me.
Fun fact: Morph is the VST used by Mick Gordon to mix the sound of a 9 string guitar with a chainsaw for the Doom 2016 OST. Later on in the Doom Eternal OST, he used Morph to combine a guitar and a lawn mower :)
I like how that’s the technique everyone remembers but not him creating an entire noise based instrument from a sine wave which was used as the main meat of 99% of the OST, a lot of the time it’s just that instrument without any guitar layers.
@@peen2804 His synth work was some of the most amazing I've ever heard, just thought this fits more considering it's talking about Morph in the video yknow
@@onsetoffall7497 lol I haven't heard anyone mention the Morph plugin but I've seen Mick Gordon and the DOOM soundtrack praised to death, to meme-like levels. We all loved his GDC talk very much.
I’ve been watching you for literally close to four to five years. I’ve been producing since I was in 8th grade and now I’m 21, and often times when I would look up a tutorial on how to do something mix-wise and I’d watch your stuff. Love the videos and glad you still like making them. Your comedy is great
I was literally searching for tutorials on this yesterday and could not find a helpful one. Underbelly again coming in clutch hurting my feelings and educating me 🙏
I started laughing out loud so hard at 2:23 when you played her voice back. Was not expecting to actually tear up from laughing during this. Caught me off guard 🤣
I've tried doing something like the first one with FM synthesis but that looks so much easier. I never even knew what a vocoder actually was. These are some really cool sound design tricks man.
Bro, you are a mad Man, maximum skilled....I love you and Abo. The Way you slammed this Lesson in my Brain, makes me wanna check out now ! ....but today I have to wait. And tomorrow I have to play !!!! Big up !!
My favorite way is using reverse reverbs and delays and using the wet/dry input as well to make an ambience mess for a bar or less and go to dry into the next input, while the first signal is being drowned in reverb the reverse delay of the other input is being introduced and when the reverb reaches dry the other input plays smoothly with the reverse delay or reverb
This dude lol Ive seen vid's of music producers saying that these vid's are crap and I'll tell YOU RIGHT NOW! there not crap they help us people that are trying to make music this way so much!!
I absolutely love underbelly, his method of teaching is unmatched! my only gripe is he uses Ableton and I use logic. Nothing wrong with Ableton, I wish I could use it but going from logic to my free trial Ableton is the most confusing thing on earth, so does anyone know if logic has a stock plugin like ableton to morph the sounds with the LFO like he was showing?
Thanks! The vocoder trick is cool. For Anthropomorping a cat with a human voice I used the refomer pro plugin with cats and lion sound. Then routing this in to a vocoder with the human voice as a carrier. It does the trick.🐱
"Oh Sally what.. what happened? That's terrifying!" 😂
😭🤣😆...😁
Oh wowzers!!! That’s how they made the Kerrigan (Queen of Blades) voice 😮
My favorite moment was when he said "It's morphin time!" then proceeded to morphed all over the sounds, truly one of the most tutorial of all times
I got ratio'd for using this joke
Such a tutorial
Definitely one of the tutorials I've ever seen!
I'm disappointed this comment didn't try to incorporate more of a blatant Power Rangers reference when given the opportunity.
Sally, if you're in danger, blink twice.
You morphed me into a fan. Thanks Underbelly for another transformative lesson. I'll go beat my chest, run out to the streets naked like the true animal I am. Pound to your beats with my air pods.
🤣
I never get bored watching these tutorials. These are both informative and funny.
Is That funny to You?
Then i Like you 😊
I did get bored and distracted, but untill the boredom came it was very fun
he does it arrogantly, but he has a wealth of knowledge.
Waste of time lol. Guys creepy weird and his schtick is annoying.

I swear to God if I see ONE MORE PERSON say this!

Its funny how this guy looks like a parody but is actually giving the BEST producing tips on this site.
For real

What DAW is he using do u use the same one?
@@jackjones8867 ableton live, and yes I use the same program. but a lot of what he teaches can be applied to other DAWs as well
Best thumbnail I’ve ever seen
You are one smart fella. I love your delivery and your use of characters. You have me laughing whilst learning. Bloody brilliant. Thanks
You are one crazy dude !!!! Amazing methods. All these were new to me .
The convolution reverb tip was pretty cool, thanks!
Great vid! i wish I could morph into someone better

I just love the inhale. It's my favorite part of your videos besides the dank music advice.
Thank you for helping me realize how much I suck at producing! After this video I suck a little bit less
the water sound with the size down at 4:14 is lowkey sick
Such high quality and streamlined. Bunch similar videos into a series!!!
Always love the editing in your vids
Didn't know a convolution-reverb could be used like that! You really bring out how much i suck at producing, thanks for that!
Best youtube production and humor channel, so far. Fucking excellent.
holy moly that reverb trick is dope
The goat is back
So good bro , humour and learning, Win Win , The BBC would be proud , especially with your sound design
Liking the shorter tip videos. Also best crossfader solution I've seen in Ableton
These are some of the most creative sound design techniques I've ever seen, thank you!
RIP Sally, she got demons in her now 😂 2:25
I thought this was going to be a simple video but holy shit my mind was blown at all of this
We need that track, Underbelly! This thing morphed from cool as ice to straight fire in no time
1:12 this the part I had no idea you could do 🤯
that convolution one was the gold i was digging for in this vid
i love your channel, man. your humor kills me. you're like the boss ross of making beats.

Whatever you say.
Goddamn that smile just warms my heart
it's morphin time
it's morbin time
Shit that's what I said

Keep up the good work bro. You're infinitely important to the producer (that might or not suck)!
Great tips 🙏🙏🕺🏻
Oh man look like you gave already up on you. Always works for me. Great guidance, thanks.

One of the best tutorials out there! 🏆
Dude, I'm your fan for ever!!! 😂♨💎
THis is probably the best tutorial i have ever watched
Been watching your videos for years man! Love the humor. Keep it up.
Bro I just found you but love your tips! New subscriber!
Thank you Dr. Steve Brule
Not only does he look like the guys who made South Park, but his smile actually looks like the characters on the show smiling. Perfection.
You are the Bob Ross of music production

Morph -- one of the greatest plugins I own.
great presentation i love this kind of stuff
the last trick reminded me a ton of jon hopkins stuff from 2013. very inspirational sound design lol
This video just taught me so much about Ableton, tysm ❤
Sos lo más grande que hay. Gracias.
Seeing him for the first time... he's a genius
OMG,those morphs sounds amazing
sick to see eliderp on this video haha nice surprise love that guys music
Did AJR do the same technique when they made Bummerland? 🤔

of the best songs in the history of humanity
i love that chord progression so much
someone give that to me pls
U can't hear it?
That Vocoder and Convolution Reverb is sounding amazing!!
Goddammit, I love your videos.
You look like Trevor Philipps from GTA 5 actually had a stable childhood. That being said I enjoy that, thx.
First vid of yours I've watched. I learned and laughed 🤣 thanks man. Liking, Subscribing, and sharing
Unfortunatly Morph VST needs the iLok-rootkit do be installed on the system. The rest of the techniques are great fun.
It’s like a meme but totally legit 🙌
This is fantastic, thanks for sharing!
ur videos are so entertaining whilst still informative idk how I haven't found u before good fuckin job bro
Your video,s are great.
Always Learning & laughing
A pleasure to watch!
I’ve been looking for a good video on this 🔥 god bless the skill plug
Some of these are actually genius
He is a crazy genius 🤯
dude those two synths at the beginning rock
Damn! Trevor form GTA V makes sick tutorials! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Disgusting Bully Bass" LEGEND!!! In tears
Dang I don't subscribe often but you got me. Nice!
Bro cold af
WOWZERS it's always so good stuff from underbelly
Great video! Loved it.
Morph looks powerful. Looked up the vst and wow. 170 usd is right up there.
It eats all your CPU too. Very cool but I only ever use it during sound design sessions, not inside of a song/project in actively working on.
This video was really helpful. Thanks brother!
Thats actually incredible
Every time you say “you suck at producing” I always say thank you.
I Love you man U keep me going
You crack me up! Really sick stuff love it!
Love that! How do you do that first technique with audio clips/samples instead of instruments?
This was amazing.
"Look at that girth!"
God bless YOU and Ableton. 😱
I especially loved the bit where he talked over the sounds.
now apply this concept to a dubstep bass and some melodic chords and also maybe some blip blops. voila! you are now ace aura!
Looking good mane 👍🏼 love your videos
