Half those kids couldn't find the Gaza Strip on a MAP
They couldnt find anything on a map.
Let them stay. Give dorms to the homeless.
I would NEVER send my children to these colleges.
I feel bad for your children coz you will teach them to not exercise their right to protest
A,father who supports apartheid
Don't worry they wouldn't be admitted there in the first place 😂.
Have you read the United States constitution? 1st Amendment bud.
@@fadumonor868 Now, pretend they're Republicans protesting the wide open border. Still feel the same?
United States of Palestine?
What the heck is this. Shift + delete this rubbish.
More coddling. Have the police remove them. They have called your bluff, now what.
How about expelled them?
That will be a valuable lesson for them about American society. Keep your mouth shut and don't protest
@ibrake4rappers yes, America is not a free place for non-whites. Like, get real!
Where are we? North Korea?
Fr the news propaganda is out of control smh
Nah. We're in Circus Vargas, and we all got free tickets to watch the show
Columbia has a history of protest, most notably in 1968, when hundreds of students angry about racism and the Vietnam War occupied five campus buildings. After a week, a thousand police officers swept in and cleared them out, making 700 arrests.
@@enough1494 back then they had a worthy cause ,
No, public protests are strictly prohibited in NK
No don’t take the encampments down! Let them get a taste of the future economy they voted for
Why don't these colleges teach instead of indoctrinate minds
Those lessons were taught by the soviets
Then the country fell apart from hunger
The U.S. is facing a very bad test on human rights
We used to call this loitering.
Well let them protest while their classes go on, they won't graduate or they'll waste thousands of dollars on education.
Stop funding the caust
Expel everyone and tell them to go home.
exactly. Daddy tell them to get a real job. You aren't doing them any favors by trying to elevate them into royalty or entitlements
The inmates are running the asylum.
But, but, freedom? For thy, not me?
Reminds me of when some wack-job terrorists destroyed $1.7 million worth of private property because the government raised taxes. Also known as the Boston Tea Party
All I want is for my sister to be able to go to her classes without hearing people yell at her every morning. They should protest in DC, I don’t think protesting at Washington Sq Park or 115th St is going to do much.
They wouldn't have much influence in DC. They are protesting the schools to cut tie financial ties with Israel.
If I were the administration and one of them said I was making "cowardly threats" that would end it.
you're not in the administration so keep ur A** shut up
Columbia needs to teach Middle Eastern history.
This city is on its way to being on a curfew for the 2nd time in 4 yrs
Seed of civil war is sprouting.....Spring season is here 🌸
Our government needs to take profit out of higher education.
They already do
Unfortunately, such intimidation is typical behaviour of Islamists. I have lived in the Middle East and experienced similar behaviour because of my religion. It appears that you have hundreds of students with Middle Eastern backgrounds. As long as you do not have effective strategies it will get worse. People will not suddenly change their attitudes because they came to the USA.
Millions of people have protested all over usa and europe and they r not Muslims, u cant stand that people know the truth and that their corrupt governments support genocide. U dont have to be a Muslim to see what is happening
Lost all control... what a garbage institution

Will not pay to send my kids there.
@@qkb3128doubt you could have afforded to anyway
@@johnsonjobs7399 it’s better than paying your kids to attend indoctrination camps like Columbia

freedom of assembly and freedom of speech WILL NOT DISAPPEAR
Unless someone gets the sniffles. Then those things can go away.
Think what would happen in Iran or even Gaza before they started this war. People would be learning to fly off building.
so many professional ray epps type provocateurs.
In some countries people were forced into tents for covid, liberals in America voluntarily opt to live in tents 😂
jihadis want to make world go back into middle ages .
Issue is third party non students want to get on campus and protest as well
[The American Heritage Dictionary gives the definition of McCarthyism as: 1. The political practice of publicizing accusations of disloyalty or subversion with insufficient regard to evidence; and 2. The use of methods of investigation and accusation regarded as unfair, in order to suppress opposition.]
Thank you from the heart to everyone who participated and supported these students... Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Hard to tell this is America.
Looks like a middle eastern city.

What protesting isn’t American?
@@jamesg6671 history and science are not real to them.
Oh, that’s right they’re investigating Catholic churches in school boards no time to handle this.
Protesting is a legal right under the first amendment if you have a problem with it leave America.
Apparently threatening people with “unaliving” is legal as authorities tolerate it with this group. So when they follow through, will that be excused as well?
No one can afford to hire one of these people… for the evil that is in their hearts will compromise any company they work for!
The DEVIL calling those standing up against the devil's work, "evil"
The goodness in their hearts will certainly ruin the evil which most corporations stand upon. Darkness hates the light.
I pray for them to never ever get a 9 to 5 on a soulless, miser company.
I spent more than 12 hours reporting from the Gaza Solidarity Occupation at USC today. I didn’t see any antisemitism. What I did see was militarized police arrest pro-Palestinian students who were peacefully protesting. The convo about safety on campus is backwards.
Jeremy Lindenfeld (Jew Journalist)
They’re saying whatever they have to, to not be “gone”. There is “no way in hell” they’ll keep to it.
The American people have the right and priority to their tax money, and it must be spent on U.S. citizens instead of donating it to Israel, Ukraine, or Palestine.
Tolerant societies have an Achilles heal, that being they feel they must tolerate the intolerant. This is foolish. Societies have conditions for membership, and tolerance of views of others can be one of them.
Activists in charge. They have taken the school hostage. Columbia needs to take action. Every one of those slimeballs will be nothing but trouble after they “graduate” .
What’s appalling is a few interfering with the education of all … And threatening Jewish students
Columbia has a history of protest, most notably in 1968, when hundreds of students angry about racism and the Vietnam War occupied five campus buildings. After a week, a thousand police officers swept in and cleared them out, making 700 arrests.

And it solves nothing. Those kids are wetoded
The students have leverage ?
Correct
@@yourenviousenemy so you’re saying they do have leverage
Leverage? No the students have broken several federal laws by promoting a terrorist organization and calling for the genocide and segregation of their fellow students based on their religious and political views. The University admin should be criminally prosecuted for inciting violence and hate crimes.
Yeah , it's almost like they pay to go to school there.
@@abdladigun6436 oh financial leverage over the school. Ok

THEYRE STILL GIVING OUT FREE MILK AND COOKIES TOO SANTA
LOOK AT THEM ALL
Stop talking to "students" and get them BACK TO CLASS so they can LEARN SOMETHING.
They are, and have thats why they are protesting against isralie.
They have rights guy. The University can't enforce anything and it's a waste of resources and manpower to clear this. Maybe Americans should focus on why this is happening rather than straggling free speech.

This is deflection for his war crimes, fraud…well a lot like Trump.
Did you know that by the US defending Ukraine they have lost less than 12 THOUSAND CITIZENS, and just a few hundred kids?
And, by the US supporting Israel, we have killed 15, 000+ kids, alone. bUT, we are feeding those we don’t kill, so I guess that evens the playing field?
I lost my brother in Vietnam, it was. Senseless waste, 58, 280 of our boys never came home, my uncle did not either!

Nobody is rioting. They had a Passover Seder dinner on Monday at the encampment and both Jews and Muslims, people of all backgrounds joined in to share a meal. Columbia’s endowment is worth billions of dollars and it’s invested in weapons manufacturing companies. We don’t want our tuition dollars going towards genocide. That is what the students are coming together to peacefully protest. Most of the footage shown in this clip is from outside campus. That’s the city streets where anyone can come make trouble and make us look bad. Students are peaceful here. We want peace.
What’s actually happening in the encampment is that people are making art, reading poetry and dancing, eating together, and studying for final exams.

Who would think asking to stop supplying weapons would be controversial. This is not America’s fight and we really should wash our hands of it. There is definitely no going back for either side which is why we should really just save our money and mind our business.
Columbia has every right to use their money to assist any conflict they see. Not everyone wants to see Hamas wins.
Who would have thought that physically intimidating Jewish students, hurling slurs at them, advocating for terrorists murdering them, and chanting in support of terrorist organizations in New York, where 9/11 happened, would be so controversial*
