I have been called for jury duty and grand jury duty in NYC. Most people look for reasons to get out of jury duty - many excuses quite bizarre. When a judge gives any group of Manhattanites the option to get out of JD, it’s amazing it wasn’t more than half that took it. So maybe focus on the trust and credibility of the process that happens in every state and every county. Is it flawed? Yup! Buts it’s all we’ve got. And he works in the system. Do your job and stop blaming it on home town refs. Because by that logic, no political case should ever be brought in a red or blue state. Everything would have to be in purple states and purple districts. Also, if people are so worried about this system being partisan and biased, maybe look no further than the Supreme Court, how it is selected and how it looks right now….

His point was that the team didn't believe the prosecution had met its burden of proof. His answer was abbreviated because of the forum. The judge severely limited what Trump's attorney's could ask their two witnesses, which prevented them from having meaningful testimony. So they wouldn't get the benefit of calling their witnesses, but the prosecution would have an opportunity to ask a question that could cause confusion or ambiguity. I think the defense was weak and unfocused, but the judge's instructions were confusing (I couldn't keep it all straight).

This jury finding Trump guilty of some made-up fake charges based on a misdemeanor whose statute of limitations is expired is like the O.J jury finding O.J. Simpson not guilty of two counts of murder (both biased juries). By the way, what are you going to say when the case is overturned on appeal? Sorry? I was wrong??
