530 Days Final Trailer: • 530 Days: The Unsolved...
Moriah “Mo” Wilson was a 25-year-old cycling prodigy, and was quickly becoming one of the most famous female cyclists of her time. She was the “up and coming” star of that world, and in May of 2022, was planning on attending a race in Texas where she was expected to win. However, just days before the race, Mo was shot and killed inside a friend’s house. Investigators would quickly learn that Mo had spent the day with Colin Strickland, a guy she dated for about 2 weeks the previous October. Within the first 24 hours they had their suspect and it was Colin’s on-again / off-again girlfriend, Kaitlin Armstrong. Surveillance cameras place her car circling the place of the murder the hour leading up to the shooting, her gun matched the shell casings found around Mo’s body, and much more. All the evidence pointed to Kaitlin. But before police could make an arrest, she fled to Costa Rica using her sister’s passport. It took over 40 days to locate her, but once they did, she was arrested and charged with 1st-degree murder. While in custody, she made a failed escape attempt too, but in the end, she was ultimately sentenced to 90 years in prison.

All that over a man. *OVER A MAN* I don‘t know why this makes it even worst in my eyes. Murders are always senseless, but killing someone over jealousy because you’re insecure in your relationship takes the cake. That’s so despicable. Poor Mo may she rest in peace.

Peter Pan man played her like a yoyo. The on again, off again, having her around when convenient and throwing her away when he wanted something else, and at the very least emotionally cheating by changing names and lying and keeping secrets... Her actions are her responsibility, but the cycle of abuse is quite hard to break when someone gives you just enough of a crumb of hope that they will do better or future fake, and that can make people crazy. No one should lose their life at the hands of someone else, and it's horribly sad Mo was an innocent bystander in the crossfire of a toxic situation. I hope at least he has learned something from this experience and will think twice about how he treats women in the future. Kaitlin rightfully doesn't get a second chance to learn from her actions. She hurt Mo, Mo's family, and her family, and ultimately herself over a man who sucks. The best revenge is a life well-lived.

I got cheated on 5 months ago. I never contacted any girls asking for explanation or to leave him away. I just left the relationship. We were living together and I had a really hard time trying to kick him out of my apartment as he would refuse to leave after everything. Some people won’t care about your feelings and will do everything to stop you from moving on so they can keep playing with you. My best decision was to choose myself. No man deserves the death of a woman or you life being wasted. Why would she do that to herself and to this girl. That’s really sad.

As usual in cases like these, there's always that one clown trying to make an equivalence between non-committal men and murderous women.
There is no equivalence. None. She could have chosen to move on and she didn't. You use the term "abuse" for Caitlyn as if she's some kind of victim. She isn't.
So the guy wasn't perfect. Boo hoo. Welcome to the club. What Caitlyn did was far worse.

What made her even more guilty in my eyes was how she fled the country and also changed her appearance.

    • @alexandriahicks4096
      @alexandriahicks4096 4 місяці тому +16

It’s unfortunate he has no repercussions, he is the instigator in all of this and pushed that woman too far. And these are the consequences. I bet he was saying how much he loved her and regretted MO meanwhile the whole time he was still seeing her. Obviously I think she got the correct sentence. But come on you can only push someone so far before they snap. And that’s different for all of us.

"he instigated all this and pushed that woman too far"
What is it with you people? Why are people like you so allergic to holding women accountable for their actions?
There is no equivalence between someone who is non-committal and someone who is a murderer. None.
When you say crap like "pushed her too far", you make the murderer seem like a victim. Enough of this crap.
Cheating is not as bad as murder. Get over it.

Why should he? Not his fault Kaitlyn handles rejection so poorly. There's millions of love triangles every year and most of them don't end with a murder.

And you don’t have a lot of… I don’t know how to explain this… kind of filler things that don’t really matter much. Everything you say is relevant to the story, and your voice is perfect for what you do 😊 In my opinion, anyway 😊

That prosecutor and whoever's corrupt in the Jessica case needs to be prosecuted themselves there are too many corrupt prosecutors in our country

@@dazzlingextremes389go back to the very beginning. It was an update on a case Kendall previously covered. To summarize, a woman was missing, the authorities didn't bother to look for her, and her family who lived out of town traveled in and they found her body within walking distance of her home. Her husband acted incredibly suspicious, but they initially classified the case as either an accident or suicide (I forget) and CLOSED THE CASE without even doing an investigation. Prosecuter is either corrupt, incredibly neglectful, or both. Kendall spread the word with the family's permission, and after the community flooded his office with calls and letters, he made a statement that he'd take a 2nd look. Still hasn't done anything or communicated with them at all.

Just watched Stephanie Harlowe cover this yesterday! It is crazy they tried to say they didn't consider anyone else when they questioned Colin for several hours and checked out his alibi which was verified! Thank you for all your hard work. Can't wait to see the documentary!!!

I’m soooooo tired of men/women playing games like this with people!
A lot of people get killed because of “love” (well, more like “lust”) games.

Wow, so my ex and I broke up because i found out that he had a double lufe, he wasnt working away, he was living with a woman. He was also being intimate with his ex wife the duration of our 5 year relationship. I didn't have the urge to hurt anyone. What i did was pack up my family and even my mama and moved 5 states away to the beach lol
