    In this video, Kendall talks about James Craig, a Colorado dentist, who poisons his wife with potassium cyanide. Believe it or not, this was not his first time trying to poison her, but it was his first time doing it successfully.

      and then performed by an actual forensic pathologist which souds like a no-brainer but many examiners in the US are elected positions which don't even demand qualifications.

      yes! my uncle died in his sleep (his wife didnt kill him he was an addict and were pretty sure he OD in his sleep) and my dad begged his wife to get an autopsy just so they knew what really happened and she refused to do it because she “didnt wanna know because it wouldnt bring him back” it made my dad really sad they were best friends

      Agreed. My cousin died of a stroke at home and the city had him autopsied. Even though it would suck to be considered a suspect, I would much rather find out exactly what happened to my loved one than to never know what the exact cause was. It's important to know about your family health.

      My boyfriend's mom was placed in home hospice after her health deteriorated unexpectedly (although she had a multitude of health issues for years leading up to this) and they were required to have an autopsy done when she passed. Still inconclusive, unfortunately, which really disappointed him, his father and his brothers.

      In the early aughts in Houston, there was an incident with a married couple, both dentists, where the wife ran over her husband in a car over and over til he died. They weren't my dentists, but I knew a lot of people who were their patients. It's crazy how things like this cause HUGE ripple effects in an entire community.

    It should be mandatory to do a poison test whenever doctors can’t find the cause of someone’s illness

    • @UhOphelia
      @UhOphelia 4 місяці тому +24

      Or like, at least a basic toxicology! There's some conditions where like, people's bodies produce toxins and such (like the thing that ferments yeast or whatever in your stomach and basically makes you drunk) that probably would go under the radar bc they're rare

    • @normaferreira9504
      @normaferreira9504 3 місяці тому +7

      You're right. However, doing those tests for everyone would be extremely expensive and when you do those tests they test for general things. You need to know what you're looking for. If someone dies from anthrax poisoning but you test for cyanide, the test will come back negative.

    • @staceyowens6700
      @staceyowens6700 Місяць тому

      I Agree. Even if they only run the tests for the top 5 poisons, such as: Cyanide, Arsenic, Thallium, Anthrax, and Ethylene Glycol (found in anti-freeze). Oleander, perhaps, should also be added as a 6th, due to it being a plant that can be easily purchased. I know there are many poisons out there, but theses ones are a common reoccurrence in poison cases.

      Idk if he would’ve tbh. If all these top specialists couldn’t figure out the issue, it was such a medical mystery, there’s a good chance that a toxicology test would’ve been done after her death….& potassium cyanide would definitely show up. It’s definitely better that they spoke up, & removed all the chances of him getting away with it, but this guy seems arrogant & kinda dumb. I think he would’ve gotten caught either way.

Did he truly belief everyone would belief she wanted to commit suicide and that’s why he bought the poison for? Often when you’re in a relationship with a health professional you assume they are caring & know best with regards to health so I don’t think many spouses would accuse their Dr partner of poisoning them. It’s honestly the last thing most people would think of especially with the added pressure of him gaslighting her. Many people in relationships don’t realise their being gaslit until the relationship is over & they’ve been to therapy.

    As someone who has had near death experiences multiple times, that heavy feeling and messed up vision is exactly what happens when you’re passing away. The best way to explain the feeling is your body is heavy and you feel like you cannot move. It’s like being on those old gravitron rides at the fair where you’re stuck to the wall as it spins. No matter how hard you try, you cannot move your body at all. If you’re standing at the moment you start getting dizzy and begin wobbling and completely run out of breath and your breathing becomes very shallow.

We need to try our best to make the world a better place one person at a time, for our children. But it’s hard to do with all the violence and abuse. I think it needs to start with mental health issues. Everyone should be mandated to get a psychological assessment this day in time. It wouldn’t hurt. If you know your ok that’s great 🙂 but there are so many that are not and need help before committing these crimes and atrocities. I can’t figure out how these things get in peoples heads?! Although, so many of the crimes can’t be explained by mental health illnesses! I’m going on n on just because like so many of us out there I’m a mother too and how bad the world is now. I think the biggest reason people dont like the mormon church is because its best described as a "high demand religion" (this is how an ex mormon describes cults, she runs a really good channel that shows the dark sides of multiple high demand religions)
      Now, im not personally religious, never was, but i understand why its important to those who are (my fiance is christian). The part where i have a problem is when religion is used to control and abuse its followers, which based on so many stories ive heard, the mormon church is very guilty of this
      I actually had a special needs classmate who i believe was mormon, and this guy got *SUPER* distressed when things broke the rules he had to follow, like when our class watched a christmas carol (it was because of the rating). I later met him at a school for adults with special needs (i have autism). I hope he's doing good these days
      I know not all mormons are bad, and they're the ones i worry for, but if they find happiness in it and dont use it to hurt others, i cant really object to their choice

    This story was covered by another UA-camr (yours is my fav!) and they read more of the texts between Angela and James where Angela is getting increasingly sicker and their animals are going absolutely crazy and she asks James what he’s been feeding them. It’s so eerie. They sensed the danger she was in and her asking him what he was feeding to them knowing he was feeding her poison gave me goosebumps

    Where I live we had a community cat, Bruce, who lived here for 3 years. He was poisoned a month ago and even today I cried when I saw the tree he always sat looking at the squirrels. He died alone and in awful agony in the middle of the night. I can't believe it. Evil world.
    I cant imagine someone poisoning a human OR animal. Sick people out there.
    Rest easy Bruce, I wish I could see you again.

    I am so angry after hearing this. He only wanted her to die to better his own situation...he not only killed her, he made her suffer.
    It's so disgusting how he "doted" and "cared" for her while she was sick, and she was so grateful for it too...and he relished it.
    It's his fault he got into debt, it's his fault his marriage was falling apart. But all he wanted was to run off with his mistress and get money from the life insurance.
    He thought he was so smart and clever and it fell apart right at his feet.
    I hope he never sees light of day again.
    And I hope Angela is free and up in the skies above.

    You know what's insane? That this keeps happening. How many times do murderers get away with their crimes for financial gain and/or run away with their affair? From what I've seen not by much. Despite this, these families keep being destroyed and spouses keep dying. I also don't understand how the doctor's couldn't find anything after that much testing. Do they not have a list for specific poisons to check for? Because that poison sounds like that would be a major one.

      Good for them!!! That’s what I like to hear, honestly.
      My ex husband was abusive. Hs sisters encouraged me to leave and let me know I could stay at either of their houses and they’d help me with the kids. I ended up going to my moms, but their support meant so much. 6 years later and they have supported me and the kids at every turn. We are at their family holidays, birthdays, etc.
      I didn’t influence that decision and didn’t want to take his family away from him. But they didn’t want to support his actions (he did some bad stuff). That has been such an asset for my children to get to be fully part of the family. ❤️
      I’m glad his brother is a good guy. We never know completely what is happening behind the scenes. I’m glad to hear his family was horrified. It’s the only logical reaction (once someone’s out of denial)
