Nice review. My Titan is very dependable. 0-3 switch is the level adjustment for the headlights. Steering is hydraulic which feels better than the electronic version in other manufacturers. Fuel mileage is fine because it’s a truck. Nissan does not use stop start or cylinder deactivation junk which is problematic.
My 2023 Nissan Frontier has the auto start stop bullshit, they said 2023 is the year they put them in, my wife’s 2022 Rogue doesn’t have the start stop bs
The biggest problem I see with the Nissan is the same as the Toyota Tundra(piece of frozen arctic mud) has always been their lack of fuel economy. 30 years ago their competition was getting high teens and low twenties while they were getting 11-13 mpg. Even when thy had the Diesel engine they couldn’t get fuel economy.
I have a 21, same truck I love it! 2nd Titan here and I’ll stay loyal they drive so nice, don’t even feel it shift. Tons of power, great stereo , comfy seats, tons of storage, factory 5th wheel, what’s not to love?! 💯
This is my first truck, I am genuinely happy with the truck. It’s been very reliable so far and road trips are very enjoyable. Plan on using it until the wheels fall off.
Just picked up a 2023 titan pro4x with 18k miles two days ago. Came with heated AND cooled front seats, heated back seats, remote start, ect. Had one owner prior but absolutely love this truck. Was on the lot for $44,00!!! Couldn’t say no. It’s my first Nissan truck and I have not seen a bad review yet. The camera quality is okay but for what you’re getting with this truck it’s nothing but being picky! Definitely recommend!
The Titan PRO-4X is a great truck. I think the mileage hurts its sales in my area. The side running boards are worthless and should be replaced with rock sliders. The interior is very nice, and the seats remain comfortable for a long road trip. The roll knob you just showed is for leveling your headlights when you have a heavy load or trailering so they don't shine in the eyes of the oncoming vehicle drivers when the truck has squatted in the back. Before you guys say no to the Titan, do yourself a favor and take one for a test drive, you will be surprised. It is a body on frame truck like some of the others other than the Honda Ridgeline which is a unibody type of construction. Thanks for another great review. Take care of yourself friend.
the scroll knob on the headlights at 11:56 is from what i am told it is when you tow a heavy load and the truck drops on the back and lifts in the front the headlights can be lowered in order to not blind oncoming cars and illuminatre the road as if it was set high and front end was lowered.

I have this same truck - 2020 model (color & trim). I really like it. The OEM tires could be more aggressive but they are fine. I average around 16 mpg around town with lots of starts and stops. I get closer to 20 mpg on longer trips. Great dependable truck with 41k miles.

I honestly plan on paying it off and keeping it for 10 years. Also the fender Audio is killer! I don’t have to add more bass. And Iv always installed JL audio or alpine speakers and subs in all my cars. I live in Tahoe where it often can snow 3-4 FEET overnight and have never been late to work. It bashes over berms and have used the rear locker several times to get out of my driveway. Absolutely love it and am happy I purchased the latest generation of this truck. When you compare every little detail and option this truck has even down to discount and price compared to the competition it’s not even close. A 2021 tundra limited with the ancient interior and less features and 5% interest rate it would have cost me 10-15k more after 5 years. If you are hesitant don’t be. Go drive it. I was sold after driving it 1 mile down the road.

I have owned trucks all of my adult life, from the major 3. I purchased the 2021 pro 4X in 2020, hands down the best truck i have owned. Fully loaded with every option wasn’t inexpensive however definitely worth the price. Sad to hear that Nissan is discontinuing the Titan.
Did you notice any lag in the acceleration a lot of people complain about the lag i myself had a 2021 and it as a major lag in the acceleration to get rid of it love your review.
Excellent trucks. Love mine. 2018 P4X...Would buy another, and another. Can't believe they aren't more popular. People will miss this truck when it's no longer sold. If they were smart, they'd offer it for another year or two with the stumbles made with the new Tundra/Tacoma.
Awesome and very reliable truck I do own a 2018 with same packages and tow a 24 feet RV from Texas to Chicago and back with no problems. Five Stars truck.
I really like your videos, it a clear explanation of everything that each car has, but why don't you put the air conditioning for a while to cool the car in the lowest position, I don't think it affects the noise of the video
Most underrated truck on the market. Nissan didn’t do anything marketing them. The 4 door 4 wheel drive model ( the one that everyone buys) is rated for more towing than any of the big three in the same configuration. More reliable than any of them also. The last straightforward V-8
Ive always loved the Titans. I have a 22 Pro4x in glacier white in the frontier and its a great truck. If I ever need a full size I'm sticking with the Titan.
Dosent like column shifter in one of the only trucks left that has a column shifter, which is a Hallmark sign of a real truck along with the V8. Also the owners manual process the answer for the switch. Maybe look at that first before making the video. I have a 17 titan and I absolutely love it

I have a 2020 pro 4x and love it. Very under rated truck. Cant beat it for the price. Stickered for over 57K and I drove it home for 39K. Hopefully Nissan changes their mind and decides to keep it around and do better advertising for it.
@@acf894 Hi Adam: It should be noted that I bought my truck during the height of covid so the dealership was willing to wheel and deal. I put 9K down which drove the price down from 57K (just a touch over) to 48K. They gave me $3500 on my trade in which dropped the price to 44.5K. I said thats still to much so they didnt even argue about it. They said how does 39K sound? I said where do I sign!? Also: I had to drive 2 hours to this dealership but I felt it was worth it. I still think 39K is a lot to spend on any vehicle but considering the price of vehicles (especially trucks), I didnt think that was too bad of deal so I took it. I would have liked to save up more money but I was afraid if I waited another 3-5 years to buy a new truck the prices would have climbed out of my reach. Thats why I went ahead an bought it at that price. Hope this helps and answers your questions.
I believe that knob is for the light in your dashboard, so you can see how slow your going. Or gas levels. Great video. I like certain aspects of this pickup, but I’m not sold on all that hard plastic. Will they make a 2025 edition?
That button controls the brightness of your dashboard lights, the one you said you didn't know what it did on the left hand side of the truck underneath the headlight control
I flushed my 2017 Silverado for one like this about 2 months ago. My Silverado was great till it hit 100,000 miles, and then all the things people claim are wrong with them started happening. A/c compressor, trans felt like it was going and a bunch of assorted other issues that cost me thousands. So far this truck is great, and it has the newer version of the motor we have in a 2011 armada hat has never let us down with over 150,000 miles, so I’m hoping this will be the same. Super cold a/c too. My only ding so far is gas mileage, but I’d rather get 17 miles a gallon on a solid motor than 21 with the threat of dropping lifters.
Yup. Chevys used to be the most reliable trucks on the road.. The DFM system ruined their reliability. Like you said: reliability>fuel economy.. Be nice to have both tho lol
Been a long time Nissan fan. My dad has had a a bunch of frontiers. And I just got a 22 frontier last year. These trucks are super rugged and reliable. I feel like Nissan lost with this truck (in terms of sales) because they didn’t update it enough over the years and they really messed up imo by not building the titan warrior. I always felt like this truck was always a couple years behind the benchmark in terms of tech. Really sad to see this truck go. They are canceling it after 2024.
@@703Speed I hope your right. But TFL officially announced it a couple months ago. Tbh if they redesigned well, how they did with the new frontier to compete with with the tundra I think it could be still be viable to keep it in production. I loved the titans.

I just got back from test driving this truck, specked out at $65,000. 1) the nine speed transmission seems to be looking for gears. The old, seven speed transmission was much more predictable and comfortable to drive. 2) the Sideview mirrors are not great, the old style, with the convex bottom was much more user-friendly. 3) when slowing down and breaking to a stop: if you let up off the break, as to not have a hard stop, there is a Audible and physical Thump. The sales person and I felt it four times as we test drove this truck. 4) the cameras and surround view are cartoonish at best. For the price of this thing, they could’ve done a better job with imagery. With all this being said, I like the fact they’re still using the same engine, a V-8, without cylinder, deactivation, that they have been using the whole time. No turbos, no supercharges, no bullsh@t. Just power, although it doesn’t have the torque the older models had. And for Perspective, I had driven two hours in my 2004 Nissan Titan (first year) that has 180k miles on it. It cost me 31k totally loaded with a 2k rebate. Gotta love the old days. Next drive is a Toyota Tundra and then a Chevy ZR2 diesel. And finally I have to buy one before the end of 2023
I feel like the Titan is the last old school, reliable truck left on the market. I’m assuming you have to buy by the end of the year for a tax write off?
Yep. Try to grab that 179 Tax deduction. My 2021 GMC AT4 diesel lives in the shop due to transmission issues. GM won’t just put a new tranny in it, they just keep putting in pumps and rebuilding. POS
Great review. Have a 2021 Pro4x glacier white for 6 months now. I got it with only 9500 miles back in February. It has all the packages on the the 2023 you have tested except for wireless apple play. I will agree with you about the column shifter...Nissan could have done a better job on it. Truck starts off slow from 1st to 2nd but after that you'll feel the power kicks in. Truck dont have any problems on the freeways switching lanes. Rides smooth. I could only compare the Titan with Tundras and Silverado/Sierra that I do believe the Titan competes with the big 3.

One of the BEST vehicle/truck reviews I've ever viewed. Super well done. (Note: should mention the 5 year / 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty!)
Thank you for watching!
GMC AT4 on the Exterior look all wrapped around a Nissan frame. I like it
I bought that truck 6 months ago. Love it. I owned a 2005 for 15 years. Way over looked trucks.
Agreed. It's a shame that Nissan is killing it
I can't believe Nissan didn't build that Warrior concept truck.@@703Speed
Best truck I ever owned...
me too
If you buy a titan pro4x you will love it, I bought a 2024 and very pleased drives really nice
As I slowly prepare for a truck, it has boiled down to either the Toyota Tundra or Nissan Titan. In reality the leader is the Nissan Titan XD Diesel.
Both are great, reliable choices
Have a 21 le and love it. Three years now and no issues
I love my Titan. 2021 Nissan Titan Pro4x. Converted mine into an overlanding vehicle. Absolutely love it.
You have no videos of this Overland Titan build. And so, it didn't happen.
@@travelinman482 what are you like 12 years old?
@sierratough4934
Joke:
a thing that someone says to cause amusement or laughter, especially a story with a funny punchline.
Have this exact one but 2024. Love it!
Did you notice any lag in the acceleration a lot of people complain about the lag i myself had a 2021 and it as a major lag in the acceleration to get rid of it love your review.
A little bit tbh. Thank you
I have the titan and it’s an awesome truck very very very underrated I recommend it
Has it been reliable?
I have this truck, the Enter/Up-Down lever on steering wheel also switch changes your radio stations
I did not know that!
My favorite Nissan pickup I want to buy one.
🙏🏼. I’ve done it before and it’s kinda distracting, I’ll have to just do it anyway on really hot days tho lol
Bought my new Pro 4X 2 months ago. I'm loving it.
Dosent like column shifter in one of the only trucks left that has a column shifter, which is a Hallmark sign of a real truck along with the V8. Also the owners manual process the answer for the switch. Maybe look at that first before making the video. I have a 17 titan and I absolutely love it
That headlight scroll from 0-3 is to level out your lights when you carry a load and your truck squats down
This is my favorurite truck👑💣
I bought a 2024 Pro 4x w/moonroof in super black as a retirement gift to myself a week ago. My first ever truck and it's more truck than I'll ever need!
Great trucks. Nice presentation. Good luck with the channel. Like Saab Kyle back in the day but better because its not 2008 any more.
Your insight as to feeling like a truck is spot on. I own a truck because I need it for work; tows and hauls all the time. Having ez to use tools and equipment is very important for productivity AND safety so i actuality dislike LCD touch screens in cars
Thank you!🙏🏼 maybe I’ll be lucky enough to have a channel as big as SaabKyle’s someday
@@703Speed kyle used to get over 1m views on his videos now its a few thousand.
You'll pass him in views per video soon if you aren't already some weeks
@@workingcountry1776 The goal for me is to be able to be "financially free" to do as I please. I'm no where near that now, but hope to be in the coming few years. It is definitely not easy, but it is rewarding. Any suggestions on how to get there are always welcome :)
I love this truck. Really good review. Keep them coming. 👍
Thank you - will do!
Is 2024 the last year for Titan? I heard Nissan is converting Titan plants to build EV cars..
I'm sad that it will not be prduced any more. Greetings
I know right. One of the last simple trucks still made
I hate when they put the camera in a cheap looking badge, and you can't take it off. The truck itself is really outstanding. Love my Titan.
NICE, there is a 2024 pearl white one for sale in my area, i have a 2023 Warlock quad cab with the 6 ft 4 bed and 3.6, looking at one of those now.
I have a 2020 pro 4x and love it. Very under rated truck. Cant beat it for the price. Stickered for over 57K and I drove it home for 39K. Hopefully Nissan changes their mind and decides to keep it around and do better advertising for it.
Great deal at 39k
How did you manage that?
New or used?
It over.. no more Titan after 2024.. done deal
Great video! Thank you! Im going to buy a pro4x soon! I subscribed!!!😊
I believe that knob is for the light in your dashboard, so you can see how slow your going. Or gas levels. Great video. I like certain aspects of this pickup, but I’m not sold on all that hard plastic. Will they make a 2025 edition?
Love this truck. Bought one. Best ever.
Simple and reliable in the world of trucks that are too complex !
Our country must doing great when so many commenters don't even blink at spending over 60 grand on a new truck......
With all the Bells and whistles compared to the big 3. The Titan is a steal.
That button controls the brightness of your dashboard lights, the one you said you didn't know what it did on the left hand side of the truck underneath the headlight control
That switch moves your headlights up or down. My old boss had that on his Dodge sprinter van
Be nice to have both tho lol
this is a headlight corrector. depending on the load, the rear part sags and with this you adjust the headlights higher or lower.
Thank you for the explanation 🙏🏼
The little adjustments on the driver side are tilt adjustments for fog lights.
I’ve heard conflicting things on the discontinuation of the Titan. I don’t think it would make sense for them to discontinue it imo
@@703Speed I hope your right. But TFL officially announced it a couple months ago. Tbh if they redesigned well, how they did with the new frontier to compete with with the tundra I think it could be still be viable to keep it in production. I loved the titans.
I love my 23 Pro-4X XD she’s a beast!
Also anybody looking for the OEM sportbar I have mine brand new sitting in the garage with all the wiring for the back light.
I love my 2019 Nissan Titan SV Texas Edition. It is my 3rd Titan.
POS
dang. most through review on this truck! Great job!
Thank you!
How's it going what did you wind up paying for your truck I'm going to look at 2023 today with 2000 miles basically brand new they are asking 47200... I'm stuck between this truck Sierra 1500 and the Silverado.
The light button with numbers is to move head lights up or down
I love this truck
Nissan 1985 Pickup 1st New VehicLe, Luv'd the Ding Dong Door Chime Lol, i' Fan Of Nissan Trucks Or the OnLy Car Versa Stick Shift, ...But The Other is?.
What about the recall on these transmission for the parking pawl?
They were able to fix the issue. Bring to local Nissan dealer and they’ll get you set up.
Hey, does that Titan come with the $3,390 PRO4X Convenience Package?
😂 dude, did you not watch?
That switch is to adjust the head light up or down
I love this truck. My biggest complaint is that absurd sticker, at least that’s removable.
2024 is its last year in production. There will be no more titan or XD after that. Grab one now!
I just got a 2023 one, it’s worth it.
At 12:107 that is your kick lights inside
Literally bought this identical truck 3 weeks ago
How are you liking it so far?
@@703Speed I got 7000 miles on it in 2 1/2 weeks. I got a slight squeak somewhere in the passenger door. The seat belt reminder was horrid so I unplugged them from the seatbelt clips. I also don’t like the adaptive cruise control. But I do like how you can bypass it into holding the cruse button. All around I do like it. Got the windows tinted and exhaust on it already and it’s really nice
@@joshuamcbride4847 awesome. How’s it sound with the exhaust? Tint is a must! 7,000 miles in 2 weeks??? How???
@@703Speed it was closer to 4 weeks. But I went from Fargo ND to TN to MI to Fargo to MI to TN lol it was a wild couple weeks lol
Good review I love the dash or screen area better then the Tundra, I love this truck in red color 😂
I wish the heated steering wheel button was actually on the steering wheel
Love these pick up trucks, but noticed front visibility sucks
that button keeps the head lights level when towing.
Great truck!!!!!
The rear doors open at like 45 degrees. If you have car seats or need to put things in the back seat, it’s a PITA.
That's annoying
The XD opens to 90 degrees. For some reason they didn't do this on the standard model. I thought about putting the XD door hinges on mine. But I really don't use the back seat much. It doesn't look hard to do.
@@kensnyder2340 You gotta be kidding me! I wish i had known that lol.
You can adjust your headlights to different level
Sounds good to me 😊 I have a 21 model King cab 👍
You got it.
The one factor that keeps me from buying a Titan is the 26 gallon gas tank. It's just too small. My '18 Tundra = 38 and '16 f150 = 36.
Fair enough
$52K is a great deal. For that price you can barely get into an XLT and that doesn't have leather.
I been thinking about this truck because of the high price f150 can you get more power out of this truck i know nothing about it
I’m not sure tbh
Get it. I love mine. Been GM owner all my life. The new GMC are over priced and lower quality.
