The XD solved all of these issues for me. I have the 24 XD pro4x. I did not want something from the big 3 and did not want a v6TT. My forest river is 7500 dry and towed perfect. 1840 payload works great for me.
Absolute beautiful truck and setup bro! As a 2023 very happy Frontier owner I would absolutely consider a Titan when my kids get older and bigger. I enjoy the Nissan content keep it up.
Hopefully I can afford one in the coming years. This is my dream truck coming from a Honda Ridgeline rn. Have had it for 5 years now, and 75,000 miles. Haven’t towed anything crazy yet besides a car trailer with a little geo metro. Being around 4400 lbs total was pushing it a bit for me lol.
Absolutely beautiful truck! Also I’m looking to buy one in a few weeks, but worried after reading issues from owners. Have you had to take your Titan in for any warranty repairs?
Would you consider purchasing a 2024 Titan pro 4x for the channel before they are gone? Too bad that they are discontinuing this great truck. Hopefully Nissan brings it back in future years. Great video's!
I would not buy one new, but I would consider getting one in a couple of years when they’ve depreciated and this one is worn out. It’s always hard for me to move into the same exact vehicle.
@@danielrotaru88 It was added at the dealer when sold originally. I think there are kits on Amazon though. Or it would be easy enough to do yourself with some vinyl and knifeless tape.
Have you experienced any issues with your transmission? I have an issue where when I stop I feel a "kick". I am going to the dealer this week but wasn't sure if you are or anyone faced this issue and what the resolution was.
It’s a typical complaint. You can have the trans reflashed which some say has helped, but you will learn to drive around it. Coming to a stop more gradually for example.
@@the_next_adventure that sucks lol. I took it in and my service advisor told me he submitted a "ticket" with Nissan Engineering. I was told the trans is perfect and it annoys me to hear that when I feel like its not.
Does the center of the hood just have a 3M wrap on it? Was that something you did and cut from a larger piece or was there a premade decal you applied to the hood. Thanks.
I had a 2008.5 lifted no fear edition pro-4x. always breaking front cv axles, that nissan also used on the frontier. Plus gas mileage sucked. Was great in the snow though and had a huge back seat with the king cab.
Thanks for providing an update on the performance of your Titan. I own a 2021 Pro4X in the Baja Storm color. Purchased the truck second hand with 17,000 miles. My truck now has 43,000 trouble-free miles to date. Please provide the link to the Amazon page for the screen saver.
My wife and I are looking at a Titan and we wanted to get a travel trailer as well. We started looking at numbers and with our kids and dogs and the trailer we would like to have we would be over the payload by 100lbs so now we are looking at the XD instead.
In defense of the Titan it’s payload is not less than Ford , GM , Ram. It’s right in line. The only versions of those trucks that meet the 2000 lbs of payload give or take that you said are stripped down regular cab models. 90% of the ones people actually buy are the same as your Titan or less. That’s typical of a 1/2 ton truck. Some Diesel Ram 2500s don’t even have 2000 lbs of rated payload capacity. If you are pulling the trailer dry no reason you can’t take some of the supplies and throw them in the trailer freeing up some of your available payload. Have you serviced your transmission and if so how often do you do it?
Yeah I mentioned that in the video-just moving supplies to the trailer now, but still come in very close. The trans was serviced just before I got the truck at 65,000 miles. Because we tow a trailer I’ll probably have a drain and fill done at 100-110k
Hey, your truck looks great! I have a 23 Pro-4x. You’ve got the best looking stance and wheel/tire setup I’ve seen for these. Can you go into a little more detail on what your setup is? I heard you mention the 3” RC kit, and 18” wheels with 33” tires. Do you have rubbing when you lock out, and did you have to do any trimming inside the wheel well? Any other advice to get a setup similar to yours with the stance and wheel/tires would be greatly appreciated!
I think I mentioned that in this video and in a couple previous videos. Slight rubbing now but not when I had the stock wheels. I won’t need to cut just need to push the corner of the flare back a bit.
Question that all of us with Pro4x’s are wondering.. have you found a way to touch up rock chips on the galaxy black Pro4x grill? Got less than 3k miles on my new ‘24 and disappointed to find they don’t tell any touch up paint, and you’re expected to just buy a new grill when it’s gets beat up from bugs and rocks. So far using a matte black generic touch up paint but doesn’t match great up close.
I have a 17’ bought new. Still like it. If you haven’t already be sure to change the tranny fluid asap. Mine was changed at 45k and I wish I had done it at 30k by the looks of it. Mine has to last me the rest of my life according to my wife ha Ours pull my 8k camper from time to time. As long as she can see her phone she is ok without seeing over the hood.
hahaha, funny how our wives say that. I had an '08 Armada for about 14 years that I was going to run the wheels off of. It started sounding like she was ready to lay down, so here I am with a '21 P4X in Baja Storm and couldn't be happier.
Hey! Does your Titan have any transmission bumps when coming to a stop? I have a 23’ at about 20k miles and am not sure if it is a less refined transmission. Or, an issue I need to further pursue. I also agree with you point on payload. I would have loved that to be a few hundred pounds more.
It’s a known/common issue - I’ve mentioned it in other videos. You can have the software update which people have said helps. Otherwise, you just learn to drive around it. I noticed it early on and then just figured out how to make it not do it by controlling the speed coming to a stop.
I have a new '24 Pro4X. Only 4k miles and the trans is doing that rough shift thing too. Based on my early research, the pressure from the US government to make MPGs better, Nissan used a thinner Trans fluid to gain MPGs. Like I said, this is just my early research findings. But I'm inclined to swap out the thin for something more appropriate.
@@the_next_adventure That's a great start. I'm gonna have to make a video on everything I've done but anyways.... throttle body, headers with header cooling wrap, exhaust, diablo sports tune and 92 octane tune will boost your mpg to at least 22 to 25 mpg on the hwy
Was wondering if you could tell me the size wheel and tires you have on your Titan I have a 21SV and want to put a little more of aggressive tire on it, but I don’t wanna lift it with your will and tires did you have to modify inside the wheel well? Ty

I have a 2021 pro 4x same color. I bought it November last year. I love it so far!!!
My 2021 has given me ABSOLUTELY NO QUALMS!!! Love it. Has 78K Miles!!! Best truck EVER!!
Just turned 89k in my 21 P4x. Work out of it daily. Love the truck. Still drives like new. Still on original brakes.
Heck yeah. I’m about due for new brakes
Thank you for the in depth review. I just purchased a 24 Nissan Titan Pro4X and really love the truck thus far.
Congrats! Thanks for checking in!
