- A quick review for one of my favourite films of the year, so far: the superb LIFE AFTER FIGHTING.
Written and directed by Bren Foster (not to mention choreographed), this is a true labour of love that all martial arts cinema fans ought to seek out!

Wonderful review! It's an amazing film with amazing unique choreography and display of technique! Plus just a solid drama movie!
Thank you! I’m glad you agree!
Great review my friend I just watched the film in the cinema this evening in Sydney and I absolutely loved it I don't actually care for fighting movies all that much but this blew me away. I saw a similar notes about the acting I thought all of the actors were brilliant. I think this may have actually got me into the genre. Subscribed.
I’m a bit jealous that you got to watch it on the big screen. I would have loved that!
Thank you for the subscription! Hopefully I can steer you towards some fun fighting films.
excellent fight scenes
Absolutely brutal, mate.
I first heard of Bren Foster from his appearance on the Fight Science Documentary. I honestly expected this movie to be awful with decent fight scenes but it was an all around surprise. Turned out to be a genuinely solid film with top notch fights
I love that so many people are enjoying it!
Great action. An hour and a half would've sufficed though.
I can understand how many will think along the same lines as you. I can agree that it could be shorter.
Obviously these people haven’t seen The Last Kumite yet😂 In all seriousness I would say Monkey Man is the best so far.
I enjoy Monkey Man too. It’s certainly in my top three.
Oof Last Kumites the worst
