As someone who’s attempted to take their own life and seen what it’s done to my mom, I would never wish for a parent to bury their own child. Even though my mom has 4 other kids I still saw how it almost completely destroyed her and would never wish that on any parent. Sending all my love and prayers to her ❤️❤️❤️

It is an immeasurable grief and heartache that a parent carries everyday. Please know that it is something that is felt by every person you have come into contact with. I pray that you find peace.
As a mom who has buried a child I don't wish this on my worst enemy. I lost my son on 10-8-2020 from being shot the pain is indescribable.

The boy that shot my daughter dad is out after killing him. It’s like they let these guys loose to commit more crimes. If they kill someone they shouldn’t have bond. Period!!!!!

I hate when Judge brings up spankings as if everybody spanked turned out violent. Me and all of my siblings were spanked and none of us are violent or criminals. There is a big difference between abuse and spankings.

Violence stems from lack of discipline, not discipline. So, I completely disagree with the judge, when he says that violence comes from disciplining children, and whipping. Maybe abusing them, but, children need to know right from wrong, and sometimes that may involve a spanking.
Today's violent youth lack Godly values, moral values, and poor mentorship. Proverbs 13:24, AMP says "He who withholds the rod [of discipline] hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines and trains him diligently and appropriately [with wisdom and love]."
God created the heaven, the earth, the galaxy, the mountains, valleys, oceans, seas, rivers, billions of people, the trees, animals, flowers, etc. So, I doubt He's wrong in His instruction, when He says to not spare the rod. Because we're seeing the consequences of not following His guidance play out right before our eyes today!

I didn't get spankings and I've never killed anyone or been wild and rowdy. How do you explain that? I can't be the only one. I personally think (which doesn't mean a whole lot, I know) that what was missing is love, structure, and discipline (which is not limited to spanking. I also think that our children are growing up in a world witnessing the hypocrisy of generations older than themselves (of which I am a part). (The generation, but hopefully not the hypocrisy).

I believe what the bible says about disciplining children. Jere. 30: 11 Discipline is not violence, it is instruction. Discipline is not primarily hitting the child, but attempting to educate them (reason with them). Tell them why they are being disciplined. Hebs. 12: 6, Prov. 13: 24, Prov. 29:17.
