The aunt paid for the funeral, which is at least $8k to $15k. she sure didn't offer to split that cost once the insurance proceeds were rec'd.
I believe the aunt, the grand daughter is money hungry. You got yo cut bounce.
Yes! She just wants it all which is why she stayed at the gran ma's house "taking care" of granny while going thru granny paper work🤡🤛🏾😒😒
Never heard the word transition so many times until this case!!!
Lol

Frivolous lawsuit. Can't you just be happy the woman lived for 80 long years in this world. That should be celebrated above anything else but folks show their asses when money is involved as usual. Unfortunately
I must concur. 😥

I'm getting scared. This is about the fourth time I've agreed with Adrian Prince.

This episode touched me so much. My moms passed on the same day same year.
Aww Jaz I’m sorry for your loss! May your mom rest easy. 💕
My condolences to you and your family.
Praying your strength in the lord❤💐😔🙏🏾
Thank you. I really appreciate your kind words
My condolences to you.🙏🏾
I can't tolerate when they both are arguing and overtop of the judge. Funerals bring out the ugly in some people. And it's usually about money...
"Would you have rather paid the money?"
Lmfao... Her laughter at that was refreshing
They've got a lot of money for a bunch of druggies👀😫
So do politicians, lawyers, drs, etc
Functional drug addicts are a thing
Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
@@Dee-cu8yr 😂😂 right
So you believe that stereotype you were sold on addicts huh? Nah some of the ppl closest to u battle addiction maybe even u depending on everything even ur consumption of sugar and other things.
The aunt isn’t on drugs
Judge Mathis needs to step up his professionalism. That taunting of a fake 8-ball was beyond disrespectful and unnecessary.
he can't shred his ghetto roots.
I was strolling the comments to see if ANYBODY felt the way I did. That was so uncalled for and annoying. I agree with you wholeheartedly!
@@dbrown2852 I’m tired of him bullying people whether are sober or not. It’s too much.
Smdh it was funny when he said it, it was mean spirited when he made the fake 8 ball and taunted the defendant with it. I've never seen him do this to the slew of White drug addicts who all seem to be addicted to either opiates or meth lool. Such a petty move on his part and the defendant didn't even react 😭🤦🏿♀️!
@@LovelyBee-e5g
Every dog has his day and some have a week. But he has changed so much, and more people are still for him with this change. He was not like this before he got an Emmy. I've had more people snap out on me because I'm speaking against what he does. He's outrageous sometimes! The defendant was professional but he tried to help the plaintiff win her case. He was very nasty and rude to the defendant and I can't understand that for the life of me. The defendant didn't do anything out of line. Or maybe holding her cell phone is what ticked him off? But she said no I'm good!
“That’s what my nana would want me to do” 🤣🤣🤣
Lol
SHE KNOWS THAT WAS SOME B.S💯👹🤛🏾
What you got that phone up for😂😂😂
🤣😂😂😂
No phones allowed by any woman😂 for JM

The aunt was trying to say her mom made a letter about the insurance to the three about how to split the money… the granddaughter is greedy
Girl, be grateful you got 41,000 and keep it moving 💯 ❤that's a blessing put that in some stocks or cds
Nana probably turning in her grave with this shitshow! Enjoy her memory and move on!
Yes!👹🤛🏾💯
Judge Matthews seemed to have a problem with the defendant but he was OK with the plaintiff interrupting her the entire case. I can't believe him. So he changes the law?
Who is Judge Matthews??
The insurance money first shoulda paid for the funeral, then the outstanding bills and running the household till it's sold. Then to the folks she left the insurance policy to 🤔
At least the recovering crackhead aunt put money towards the funeral. Some family members point fingers. And say things like " I'm in a tough situation, I don't have money for my OWN MOTHER'S funeral etc etc". The lady who gave you birth and spent money on you you're entire childhood. They don't want to even put up 100 bucks for their deceased parent funeral. The granddaughter was hoping the aunt would give her money from the sales for doing all the paper work and runaround during the funeral. You got 41 thousand. How much more money you want to make off your grandmother's death.
Sad and a waste of time! I’m grateful to not have this mindset… gotta let things go.. there’s so much more to life!
So sad....how folk fight over STUFF when family passes. I was over my aunts estate and she wanted me to give away EVERYTHING to her neighbors who were so good to her for FREE...of course some family was upset....but I honored her wishes. U CANNOT TAKE ANY OF THAT WITH U
Dearest deceased one,...we all took the hit having to hear this "yap yap!"
Rest in peace 🙏🏽❤️
Yes! She sick of this from the grave💯🤡🤛🏾😔🤦🏾♀️
Funerals/Death bring out the worst in folks. Smh 🙏🏽💔
Sad but true☹️
That’s why I don’t attend either.
Greed BABY👹🤛🏾💯
That look Judge Mathis gave the defendant when she said, "I don't smoke crack!" 😂
It's difficult when a family member passes. It's sad when families are suing one another over money.
I fell out when she said don’t be tryna put me down 😂😂😂😂
Dance for me baby 😂😂😂😂
I never understand how people normally feel entitled to things after their love ones passed on…Things they didn’t actually worked for…
How the niece look older than the Aunt😖😆🤣😂
Probably done spent most of that money up already so now she tryna sue 🤦🏽♀️
I agree, she looks like she a gambler I bet she stay on the boat🤡🤛🏾
Exactly
I'm so sick of him saying it's nothing wrong with smoking weed. All of these children are coming to school high. Parents are spending so much money on it that they negate responsibility. It is a gateway drug! Stop perpetuating this lie.
I’m a proud weed smoker. I’ve never even thought about doing anything harder than that. I take care of all my responsibilities. It maybe a gateway drug for some of the weaker folks but everyone I know that smokes weed it stops there. It’s legal in my state so I’ll smoke till I can’t smoke anymore.
Weed def is not a gateway drug. I hate when people say that. Some people just have addictive and weak personalities
@@user-th6gw2fo4q ♥️♥️♥️
@@roxyj3182 keep hating it sweetie. I work with addicts and not one jumped into hard drugs. Them along with friends and fam ALL started with weed. Keep the focus on the effects of it on children and broken parents.
@@flo-dd5sw You telling a whole lie… People make a choice to use other drug’s… Just b/c that is the experience you have by working with addicts b/c that is their truth doesn’t mean that’s true for others.
The neice is exactly what the aunt said she was(Money Hungry),because I don't understand how she wasn't satisfied and grateful after receiving 41 grand unless she's hungry for money, because she is not her aunts equal in this situation...
That piece of rolled up paper was waaaaaaay out of line. Very unprofessional.
Why can't you be happy you got anything at all, that's HER mother.. smh🙄
I can’t stand when JM asks insensitive questions. “Would you have rather paid the money?” Like what? Planning a funeral and everything that goes into it is not an easy task.
Omgggg judge is funny 😂😂😂 why he rolled that paper like that 😂😂😂😂
Ikr 🤣😆🤣 he's always funny
This plaintiff is out of control. You don’t know how much she got for the estate sale….Mom is an addict and she probably got her money too. That 41000 must be gone already.
Imagine that. You thinking you entitled to something, and come to find out you wasn’t even the second or third of the actual beneficiaries.
Aunt should have got all the proceeds from the estate sale since she paid for the entire funeral herself before the insurance even was distributed.
I have to say that judge Mathis is by far the best judge on TV, I am very proud of him and the way he carries his self and the way he represents good smart black men, he is a great example of what a strong and honest leader should be he is very fair, and always lifting people up especially black people he sets great example of how a leader in the community should be, he even lifts up the church community, I just love watching his show, whenever he can help anyone he always does even if he has to pay for it himself as a black man I am very proud of him
I lost all my grandparents and I would never expect anything from them. The grand daughter is way out of line. She is fighting with her aunt like she has the right over everything. Good Lord.
This is why it is important to leave a legal Will and establish a Trust when you have assets.

😂😂😂 JM so crazy “Ima give you an 8-Ball” 😂😂
Sorry ma'am, but there are no financial rewards for writing an obituary...it should have been done out of love. I wrote my mother's obituary, chose the casket and grave site, my mother's clothing etc. without any help from my siblings, but somebody had to do it, and it was a labor of love.
Hope everyone have a blessed day today 🤍🤍
You got $41,000 and that wasn’t more than enough??? And didn’t want to use any of it to go towards the funeral? Thats a damn shame.
Family reunions, Cookouts, Weddings, & Funerals bring out da WORST in peeps.
Namely, Blacc People.
12:15 - 13:10 I DIED
😂 my nanna always said “dance for me baby” I’m WEAK 😂😭😭

The niece going to need her aunt again and that will be a NO. Couldnt be happy with 41,000.00 they greedy at this point. Go to work and dont worry about her mommas things. Smh. She know she foul.
Never say crack in front of JM 🤣
Lawd quit talking over each other!
“I could twerk….that’s what my Nana would want me to do!” 😂😂😂
Lol
The granddaughter believes she was the third child, but no ma'am. One daughter gave financial support, the other daughter gave emotional support. As a grandchild, you helped your mom. You saw all the things their mother owed an saw $$, $$$. Go home ma'am!!
Why would judge Mathis “try” to get her emotional distress? I’m confused she got 41,000 what more else is there to get….
The plaintiff wants all this money but didn’t put a dime towards the funeral SMH
I would have let that go!!!! Omg you got $41,000 that should be enough. Smh
Then the Judge was seriously trying to help her greedy ass
Dying is free. Funerals should be cheap.
Funerals are so unnecessary 🙄😒
The niece is money hungry just like the aunt said, she has serious entitlement issues. How dare she not be happy with the 41,000 and the aunt paid for everything. The niece thinks she should be paid for emotionally supporting her Nana for 2 weeks. Emotional distress my arse. If you are reading this Niece, you are ungrateful, you take your aunt to court after your granny is gone to get more money after your aunt paid for all funeral arrangements??? You are the greedy money hungry person your aunt said you are.
Is that legal? Putting a fake crack piece out for her to grab at it? That was horrible…. He’s cold blooded….
Did the judge crumble up a piece of paper like it was crack and said “she didn’t flinch”I’m not about to play with him!
😩
Yes he’s out of control 😭😂😂
Is the twerking for me😂😂😂😂😂 my nana thought me to do that😂😂😂😂
Lol
When the aunt paid for the funeral, the niece saw $$$ and tried to get some of it. I'm glad she lost.
The niece is money hungry and entitled. That's not your mama that's your grandma.
Unless a policy specifies who gets what, family is not obligated to divide up the money. MOST people assume that insurance policies are for funerals, it needs to be detailed.
Yes Auntie your niece was greedy she sounds shady
The awkward silence was killing me 😭😭😭
