UNTIL: I told her I was going to a rave. And she's like:
"Drink water, but not too much, buy a bag of chips or something salty, here, grab some magnesium. And use chewing gum"
And when I got home she was extra comforting and kept making sure I wasnt "depressed"

I can relate to Xavier with finding out a major detail about her life, while also being told the truth about santa, &+ the easter bunny etc. My mother left my bio dad when I was two. She had good reason. When I was seven, my bio dad wanted to get into my life. I would always visit with his mother (my grandma) &+ didn't even know she was my bio dad's mom. So when I was seven, I was told that my father (the one who raised me, no difference he is my dad) wasn't my bio dad. It was a very emotional time, I remember my dad cried. I did talk to my bio dad for a little bit, but he mostly sent gifts, he never came to visit. To this day I still haven't met him in person, &+ honestly don't plan to. Anyways, in that time, I was also told about santa, &+ the tooth fairy etc. My brother knew &+ my parents didn't want him to tell me, they wanted to.

Kinda binge watching right now so excuses the year late comments, but I love this episode. Resonates pretty hard because I was taken out of my home and eventually adopted by the foster family I was put with.

Thank you for the bottom of my heart to all those people who having a family bond or NOT they have chosen us and loved us as we are their biological sons or daughter. I feel so proud of my step father by rising me and I feel so greatful because he made this decision not one forced him, and he still chose to educate me. thanks to all you for choosing us ❤️❤️❤️

I am 31 & adopted from Honduras and my moms my rock. My brothers are from my parents but may not be blood for me but matter. my dad passed in 2005, so once that happened my mom became my mother and my father, lol even when she married my stepdad who’s pretty damn cool. My mom lives where I grew up in south Jersey & my bf and myself just moved to his hometown in south Mississippi. We just told them via FaceTime we are pregnact. So no matter the distance no matter the situation, she’s my mom!
