The original policy proposal didn't take into consideration the voices of adults who vape and their experience using it to reduce smoking or quit. The vapes proposed by the government in the original policy had a extremely concentrated nicotine percentage, far beyond anything that a regular vaper would intake. It was always going to take some discussion to refine the policy.

I got off smokes with them. If I want to buy them I will. Would think we are customers to a pharmacy, not a patient. Can't wait to get a lecture from some old karen while im buying them. The crackdown should be on tabacconists for sale to minors as well as inflated pricing.

I got a prescription for vape took about 10 pharmacies before I found one that would take the order ,most just gave me a bad look. finally found one that took the order and had to wait a week for it to be in store. In that time I did research on the vape I was getting and managed to order one online with no prescription and cost ten dollars less,that's including overseas delivery and was delivered in 4 days was another couple days before I received my prescribed one.. I can garuntee right now this won't work all the crying by chemists ,they can relax no one's going to a chemist to get a vape when they are just as available now as they were before all the rubbish laws . all they did was raise the price on them also... The government has no one to blame but themselves charging 60 dollars for pack of cigarettes.was always going to see the rise of vapes. Unfortunately the vape stores that do the right thing cop all the slack while the sleazy servos and tobacconists sell all the items in question .vape store would have never sold these items.
I don’t know what the big deal is? If I buy vape juice I have to add my own nicotine.. all vapes come with zero nicotine so I find it hard to believe that these disposable vapes actually have any nicotine in them? It’s a load of crap!!

@@mw8308 you can order juice with Nic mixed in, the vape shop will mix it at the correct dose, I did this when I first started vaping, but then oz government decided to make Nic prescription only.. so I had to learn to mix myself. My point is I’ve been vaping for over 8yrs and have never been given any juice that already had nicotine mixed in it unless I asked for it, it’s always been zero as marked on the bottle.
How can you believe this guy when there is a massive amount of research showing vaping to be not only 95% safer than smoking, but also as the most effective way to get off the cigarettes.
Because it doesn't matter how much WORSE tobacco is but understand the current harm you are doing, it's so bad that vapers will fact check a doctor. If it was really good for quitting smoking then you don't have to worry about returning when vapes are not an option

As I take shit seriously I had to take steps to CALL the companies to a get the flavour ingredient list
They've been parroting the liberal party line for decades when it comes to government policy. They've hated labor since the introduction of the PBS. What has labor done in this circumstance which is wrong. They just refined policy lobbied to them by big tobacco to better suit the needs of adults that sensibly vape as a way to cessate their nicotine addiction or create an outdoor environment that doesn't smell like crap for their fellow Australians.
