Cory Wong is from Vulfpeck (German for Wolfpack ... which I think you've covered but if you haven't than you should 'cause you'll dig).

Wow, man, what a fantastic track! Anything with that sax and the insane levels of drumming here will catch my ear and i'm reminded of Snarky Puppy, too, but that's just because I haven't heard too many tracks like this.
That bass and the guitar solo really made it stand out to me, though. What a great sound coming out of that guitar! I could have enjoyed that for 30 more minutes, plus.

If you ever have the chance to see Cory in concert 1000000000% do it. Saw him last year and that was the best concert I’ve ever been to, even beat out Snarky Puppy for me

You should check the song "One Hope" by Snarky Puppy, it's from their album Family dinner, it is Japanese Anime Rock but with fusion jazz players? Amazing song!! Also the most amazing drummer in the world is also on this track, Mr. Larnel Lewis! he is just crazy as hell, learned and wrote almost all of the drum parts for We Like It here album on the plane to Holland
Also about the bass player it is either Sonny T which is crazy, or Victor Wooten which is even crazier haha

Cory Wong is a monster of funk guitar. My favorite project of his is the Fearless Flyers. Just two guitars, a bass and drums, laying down some solid funk. Crazy tight grooves.

I won't mince my words. Since the untimely demise of Prince, Louis Cole is the musician most likely to reach this type of genius-level achievement one day. AND. I. KID. YOU. NOT. This guy can do anything. I give my strongest recommandation to check his solo stuff.

You definitely should check out VULFPECK Cory Wong is a part of that band and he is named after a VULFPECK song, that being said they are absolute monster players, a super group if I may call it that, I’d recommend the song Back Pocket Live At Madison Square Garden, they are immaculate live!
