Love the band interactions! The world needs more deep thoughts from Sonny T!
And Sammy G!!!
Couldn't stop laughing at Nêgah's snaps, great content as always, love the band !
She fakes it in a rather brilliant way!
It was very cool to hear from the band, feel free to make these episodes longer, Cory. Cheers.
I love this whole band so much. Thanks so much for being an inspiration to musicians everywhere!
I can’t wait for part 2, this might be my favorite series
"Play with the bull, you get the horns" becomes "Play with the horns, you get the cases"
I love how everybody just OOOOHHs in awe everytime someone says something motivating, it's like a Supa Hot Fire video, but wholesome
Petar with the new hand clap cymbal makes me happy
Real genuine band mates. I love this interaction, and thinking of 20-30 years down the road these musicians will have this time-stamp of a memory to look at and reminisce or show their families …
I’m a musician and I’ve only ever played along to other people’s music. I’ve tried to come up with my own stuff but I’ve never been able to. Listening to Sonny’s answer was, we’ll, inspiring :-)
I LOVE THIS BAND! Everybody so damn good
I still can't get over the "pa dum...pum...pish". It's always been, and forever will be, "pa dum...pish"! 🥁
I. Loved. This. The whole band on a stage with a camera pointing at them, everyone has their instrument, go.
That was a fantastic video. As light and humorous as it was, it really helped me be okay with stepping away from super focused and consistent practice for the time being. I’ve been practicing for hours everyday for nearly the whole summer and recently hit my limit. I’m totally uninspired to practice or work on music stuff, and that’s okay. I’ll give it a few weeks.. :)
Sitting my guitar down in a corner for a year or so is one of the best things I ever did. When I picked it back up, it was like meeting my best friend all over again.
So cool that you guys recorded this at my local venue, Soundcheck Studios! Stoked to see you and Victor Wooten at HoB in Boston
Now I'm curious on whether Cory wrote the "soulless corporate motivational music" that's used in the background by himself for this video or if he took a preexisting track. 🤔😂
Hahah I was so confused by that song selection. Scrolled through comments to find if anyone else mentioned it 😂
He probably wrote it tbh, has "today i'm gunna get myself a real job" vibes
the background music is killing it lol
Loved that opening!
Funny! I like that everyone had a chance to share their opinion.
バンドの仲の良さと信頼関係が際立っててほんと好きです😂(I love how the band getting along and respecting each other)
What a phenomenal band leader. You really can tell by the smiles and body language that Cory is just a dream to work with. As someone who went to Berklee I really appreciate a band with good chemistry
shout out to the editor for the background music. next level selections.
that last riff is FIRE!
Loved this! Great content as always.
Loving this Q&A theme!
I need like an hour of this.
Man, that odd time bit was really cool!
Please do more of these!
LOVE IT !!! Thanks for inspiring Cory and the band.
LOL who is the video editor. Stock footage during Sonny T's monologue is perfect. Also, missing Lampley's head sway and vibe!
I was so excited to see that you filmed at Soundcheck Studios Pembroke. It's one of my favorite stages to play.
Musicians thinking outside the box to get it done! Yes that was extra. Always inspired to watch everyone always. Sonny’s comment was on the one! Sam is spot on and was that Mark on guitar at the end of this clip?Oh no I hope the stagehand in me isn’t coming out?!
Love this!!! I grew up in MN and this exemplifies the music I grew up with (i.e. Mambos Combo at Bunkers) Keep it up!!!! Awesome!!!
i know its hard to find timing for so many people, but pls keep this format i love it!
You guys just light up my life!
keep up the good work!
SONNY T! serious wisdom! love this!
So good!
Awesome and true! Thx Cory! SonnyT!
You guys are great!
Please do more of these!!!
Damn, it's so inspiring to see you having fun like that
Damn this was really helpful. I love this type of content.
toujours aussi sympa à écouter !
I used to use medical tape for my teeth when I played, these days I cut up denture cushions. They are a little thicker and form to your teeth really well, good for multiple uses.
Would also like to add that reed players we totally need our cases handy... I've got about a gazillion reeds in there, the case kind of works like a filing cabinet for reeds. Certain reeds in certain places, and you never know when you're gonna need to swap.😄 Totally valid.
The stock footage and music during the inspirational pep talks tho 🤣
Sick af format
This is fun!
Speaking of inspiration.....thanks Guys!
I think I was the one asking about Brooklyn Bop. Thanks for answering it. Maybe Cory Henry could do the soloing/ feature. He is from Brooklyn?!?
Wow I love it
Vin on lights! The man!
this video makes me so happy
Best content yet
excellent !!
I have missed your videos, you guys are great. I was just telling a friend how much I miss the shows, yesterday, lol the universe has funny timing.
Laughed so hard , thanks guys.
Locking, Seeking, Destroying at every gig 😆🙌 Love hearing the variety of responses and perspectives from each of you! Awesome.
Crazy energy, crazy skills)
If I had a late night talk show I'd pay your group a ton to have you be the band.
Loved Sammy G's input here!
Thank you SOOOO Much for the "Why you should be inspired?" The pandemic has been a straight up BITCH, but, same time, tons of primo tunz in all kind of genres continue to inspire me to look for new musical energy
Is the pandemic still a thing?
That clap stack sounds INSANE
Agree that inspiration is about perspective - I added lyrics to the song Bluebird a few weeks ago (was inspired by the positive feel) 🎶☀️
Excelente 💜
What a team 🤣 love all of ya
LET'S GOOOO... Also please tell me Brandon "Taz" Niederauer is gonna be the soloist for Brooklyn Bop...
This is me every time Cory wong releases something 😂: 2:50
how's that snare so snappy? I want the EXACT SIGNAL CHAIN!
First three seconds says it all
Ok I hear that gogo
“Speaking of 25/8” 😤
sEEking, for the shirts. ;)
Kenni's reactions are so funny
hey cory, i.m pretty sure you can sing like les claypool !!!
seee you at the olympia , france singinglike that 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Finally someone else who can't snap as well! hahaha I always faked it the same way
Glad to see that Cory Wong endorses Slobodan Milosevic, "You gotta get hip to Slobodan, this cat's insane"
muito bom!!!!!! BR
Cory really went and replaced Sammy G on the power station tour 😳
Don’t kill me if this was already asked please, but what is this song called at the beginning? My niece and I love Cory Wong! I played trumpet in middle and high school and now she plays trumpet too! She is in 10th grade and almost 16 years old. She wants to learn to play this song for an ensemble in school for her band! We are REALLY wanting to get tickets to see Cory Wong in OKC on November 17! Haven’t bought them yet, but hopefully they won’t sell out yet. We are HUGE Cory fans!
It’s called Separado. It hasn’t been released yet.
@@jaywebb6223 thank you so much for the response! Trumpets and flugelhorn players rock! I played trumpet from 6th grade through 12th grade and some in college. I’m 32 years old now, so it’s been a little while since I last played.
Do you know roughly when to expect Separado to be released? I love it!
What is the opening song?
Now why can I snap with my right hand but not my left?
I used to be able to snap with both now only the right! I hate it.
Holy shit I never realized it but I want Cory to do a guitar version of Whiplash
I spend all my time listening to music, that inspires me. I want to play it, to improvise on it.
But anytime I sit in front of my piano, and then start to play, I just lose all this inspiration and get lost. I just don't know what to do and I hate what I play... No matter how many times I've listen to the music and improvised by singing or whistleling on it... is it grave, doctor ? Any advise please ?
It happens that I'm too inspired, sometimes. That would be the only reason to skip a Wognotes-video.
Hi Dan Smith =]
Does anyone know how this intro song is called?
1:27 Even Cory calls it a clap stack 😂
Had to take a break after Sony's... vocalization @1:23
Greetings and hugs....!! °,..,° 🤟
these people :)
Coolest Cats on the Interwebs.
What was that outro song with that tastey bass?
“Concrete”, it’s a really cool one :)
It's Marc Lettieri on guitar: ua-cam.com/video/cp49UiTfC1Q/v-deo.html
Sounds like the Tonight show band......
Cory is God. Nuff said
Wait, so is this the actual reason Sammy G ain’t on the new tours?
What’s the song in the video intro?
2nd this--such a jam! I need to know
Is there more to the outro somewhere?
It’s Cory’s song Concrete
It's Cory Wong // "Concrete" (feat. Mark Lettieri)
Came for the Q&A, stayed for the roast.
People are uninspired because they are broke the world is falling apart and not everyone has opportunities like these guys do. I wonder how it would be if all the everyday people had opportunities like they do. Music would be so much better and not so competitive and cut throat.
