The moment i lost respect for Vlogging families was when a family was having another baby and basically opened their baby registry to the public to buy them things, when they were not struggling at all financially. It ethically sickened me. I'm not a fan of profiteering. But to each their own >.

The fact that the kids are looking to their parents for instructions says it all. The kids are most certainly getting disciplined in some way to be acting like that. No but like I stan that so hard because if your child is exposed to the internet snd to millions of people they take it as an instinct to filter everything they do, say, eat, drink and whatnot, and that’s super unhealthy for them and spoils their mental health from such an early age. I am not saying that all the family channels are essentially bad, but a lot of them put that impact on kids.
Kris my gf broke up with me today cuz her mom is homophobic and she figured out we were dating I don’t know what to do about it and you lighten up my day I have been crying for at least 2 hours! I don't let my kids watch channels like these. They tend to mess with children's (and adults) self esteem. You constantly have to explain to your kids that living like this is extremely unrealistic but of course they don't always understand so I try to encourage them to find other channels like DIY and craft videos.
My sisters are obsessed with channels like this and my mom hates it so she doesn’t let my sisters watch it cuz she thinks the kids in those channels are brats 😅
sometimes its good tho.. it can teach kids that living like this with fame and money wont necessary make you happy and stuff. this is an important lesson too

I looked up how expensive those pianos are that play themselves and I found that the price of them is 35,390.00 dollars💀
My mom had a player piano that she bought with some inheritance money from her grandmother for around $3500. 9 years later, she moved, and her interior design style “changed” but I had my own house by then, so she passed it down to me (no charge, of course). Fast forward 13 years-I bought a new house with my husband, we had moved everything to the new house, except the player piano, when we put my old house up for sale; cause I was waiting until the last possible second to move it since I needed to hire special movers. Long story short, I’m glad I waited, (God works all things for good) because we had a lady put in an offer for $20,000 over asking with the contingency that she get the player piano. Needless to say, we accepted her offer! So, I’m not certain, exactly, on how much they cost but definitely close to 20K- A huge blessing since now we live mortgage-free!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I respect the family vloggers that do their best to hide their childrens faces from the internet, as it is good parenting and privacy, but then there are the ones who show their kids embarrassingly, force them into things, and forcing them into the camera. Familys like the yeagers are okay, because their children choose to be invloved, but there are also familys who practically neglect their children and let them do whatever they want.

As an introvert, I don't want my parents to start a family vlogging or something like that. I don't want cameras being shoved in my face literally everywhere I go or whatever I'm doing. I value my privacy, luckily my mom thought the same too.
Just as I started this, I was already laughing at the two 8 year olds, and what Kris said because it made me remember what my parents told me.
They told me that I could date when I was younger if I wanted, but if I wanted to go out somewhere proper, then they’d go too and be sitting at like a table nearby or something

They are actually one of the good one. Although the kids edit all the vlogs. They work exceptionally hard for their channel and there is a line of how far is too far. But they don't flaunt their money. They surf and skate with their children. They play games and do harmless pranks. I think it's pretty wholesome content. I'd let my kids watch them. I don't agree with everything they do. Also my best friend wears his nickname "Disco ball" with pride. It's his license plate, tattoo, etc. There are worse names. The mom likes different names. I don't think they would've chosen a name they didn't like. It probably went up against Sink because they knew it wouldn't win. Not everything is how you see it.

As an equestrian, the photos of a "horse with blinders" is actually just a horse wearing a fly mask which prevents the fly's from getting in the horses eyes and face and annoying it. A fly mask and "blinders" are two completely different things. (no hate just educational purposes).

When it comes to using minors for contend you have every right to judge. Putting kids on the internet should be illegal. Legally they cant give consent and they probably will regret it later in their life. Not even thinking about the deep darks of the online world that makes it even worse.
Exactly this. Loads of vloggers, including family vloggers, regularly talk about the pressure of essentially living your life in the limelight because you vlog everything and never enjoy anything for yourself. But they want their kids to GROW UP like that? It should be considered child labour.

Those blindfolds as you say are to keep the flys away from their eyes and the things i think you mean are blinkers and they are used to fource the horses to only view straight ahead so that when they are in a cart to stop them shying at objects so that nethier the horse, the rider, the carrige and pasengers are not hurt
