That child is in danger. Not only from the creeps but also from her own mother. If she is doing this purposefully and publicly, imagine what she is willing to do behind closed doors. Ask your legislature and local government to consider a state law or equivalent if not in the US. That's often how we get those rules. It's easier to enforce the most difficult legal rules vs individually via state or region so apps do make the rules for the most restricted places

And at the very least issued some form of court order that she cannot post any content online of her child or future children since she “doesn’t know” how damaging & dangerous this is. Thank you for this video! My daughter is a competitive gymnast and has been for 8 years. I have posted many videos of her getting new skills or doing gymnastics. I never thought about people using them inappropriately. I just went and deleted every single video of her doing gymnastics or in a leotard off my TikTok. Never again. I I know it’s not kris’s fault that the doctor lied. But Chris put yourself in a position where she may be responsible for repeating the Doctors comments which were sexualizing a child, and putting non-sexual videos of a child into categories of innocent and seductive. she also gave information information without checking with TikTok to make sure the information is correct.

I'm a dad for 3 girls and internet safety has consistently been one of the biggest talking points.
We even battle the schools because they want you to sign a release form so they can post anything with your child in it to any media source.

As a mother of three I absolutely do not put my children online ever. I do not allow anyone to take photos or put up online anything of my children. I do not sign school permissions or doctor permissions of myself or my children ever. Every parent should be aware and avoid these things.

My Mum posts me and my sibling sometimes on her Instagram account, but i do tell her if i or my sibling don't want a specific video or photo on there. And she will most likely delete it. But it sucks that some parents out there don't listen to their kids and respect their privacy.
I understand internet safety. But the whole point of that form is so that it's consented. You sign it by choice. And it let's them know that you're okay and aware of it. However if it was something inappropriate that's an entire different situation.

She said she wanted actual proof of something sinister happening. First of all, why would you need proof? If I had a child, and I knew there was even just a possibility of something sinister happening with videos or photos I posted online, I wouldn't post it! I would rather work! Secondly, I saw a video the other day of someone posting proof! One of their viewers sent them a message. This viewer was a 13-year-old girl, who didn't know anything about Wren. A grown, adult man was messaging this girl, grooming her. He sent her a picture of Wren in overalls, with nothing under the overalls, asking the girl if she could roleplay as her. When I saw the video, it had already blown up on TikTok, so I would be very surprised if Jacquelyn hadn't seen it yet. Something needs to happen!

The main concern is what if a pdf-ile gets a really bad fixation on the child and decides to track her down in real life? That's why this is so dangerous. All the mom can see is the dollar signs and not the actual danger this can put her child in.
That’s happened before with many kids, even if the content IS exploiting them or not. Some p3d0s just see a kid and think terrible things. This situation is so much more dangerous for the child as it’s literally begging for that. I once was watching a police cam crime video, and this one p3d0 apparently had found a girl online because she had a UA-cam channel for fun (no exploits at all) and apparently he had “fallen in love with her.” He had somehow found her location and looked everywhere for her in her neighborhood harassing and screaming at people to find her, (note he literally lived in a different state) and when he found the house he made crazy accusations that god brought them together and that to be with the youth is to be like the youth or something. He was crazy and it showed like a horror movie. And he even said he was looking for younger than her (she was 12.) This mother is obviously not seeing how this could put BOTH of them in danger, their security, life, jobs, etc. P3d0s don’t have a limit to what they’ll do to get what they want.

As a 14 year old girl, I hate HATE what this child is going threw. I have a TikTok account like most teenagers do and so many times I’m at home and I want to make a video and I dubble check my outfit and what’s showing in the video multiple times because I’m terrified for that reason. My body “matured” early in life and I got the talk about everything pretty early as well so that I could be safe. Even going to the gym wearing leggings and a T-shirt an old man will watch you play racket ball and ask you to play with him when you tell him you are uncomfortable. This mother should be ashamed and should not have a child. The child needs to be protected. I’m going to report this mother on TikTok and thank you Kris for bringing this to the light❤️

I recently saw another UA-camr post body cam video where this Dad called the cops because his daughter 3 years before this happened, she posted videos on UA-cam and this guy had been stalking her. He was adamant that he wasn’t leaving because he wanted to marry her and wouldn’t leave unless she said to him to leave. It was extremely disturbing but parents need to be more aware of things like this happening

As a mother and pregnant woman, I stopped using social media years ago and have posted 2 pictures of my daughter on Facebook in the 2 years she's been alive: one from when she was born to show family that I had zero intentions of inviting over and a second a year and a half later of her on my shoulders. That's it. In fact, those are the only 2 photos I've posted in 2 years.

I can’t imagine the psychological hurt this will cause when she is older. Parents/Guardians shouldn’t be allowed to create accounts for children. It wouldn’t surprise me if people are motivated to have children just to try make bank off of them. People can be so selfish. Great job at bringing this to light Kris and others. The constant filming leaves the child more vulnerable to predators snatching her on the street. Not only is she overexposed on SM, but she's used to having a camera in her personal space and won't think it's abnormal.
It hurts in the time. The kid doesn't have the tools to say why it feels bad but can confirm the pattern isn't invisible so the harm is now not later. I don't mean this to be demoralizing but it's important to not consider this trauma deferred because that can delay action. I am a survivor of a lot of bad things including my parents trafficking me. I didn't understand everything happening but I wasn't free of trauma and yes this IS a human trafficking thing

A video criticizing her I saw being was basically “Why don’t you care about the bears in your yard… oh. YOURE a bear too” which I think is a very concise way of explaining why she doesn’t care about the creeps using her daughter’s videos
Not only is it a safety issue online with these creeps, but also irl. If someone finds them irl, and since they KNOW WREN'S NAME and lots of stuff ABOUT her, it'd be so SO easy for someone to convince her to trust them, and take her away.

As a CSA survivor, lots of parents do not realize how easy it is for predators to come into your child's life. It's heartbreaking. Happened under my parents' noses and due to my mothers neglectful actions. This is a very serious subject, and I admire you for sharing and spreading the danger!

I have a 15 yr old daughter and a 5 yr old daughter. I let my oldest have a phone at 9 because of her school . She had days were she wouldn't be home because bus broke down or stopped from the kids being loud or acting up and one time the bus wrecked . I didn't get a call till after an hour . I decided it was important for her to be able to contact me if something like that happened . She's cyber schooled now since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

I already see it working with my kids now with them still being very young. When I have a certain tone and demeanor they know something is up and follow me blindly if I'm not able to explain in that moment knowing I will explain as soon as everyone is safe. In everyday situations I take the extra time to give them as much autonomy as possible and treat them as equals who just need more information given to them. I am not in charge of them I am there to keep them safe and teach them what they need to know as they grow of how to do that themselves and have built that trust that I will pass it on as soon as they show me they are ready for it and I make it clear on how they can do that so it's not just a mindless waiting period that doesn't have a timeline. My kids ask a lot of why questions and I answer them honestly with developmently appropriate details.
@@Izukudeku726 I somewhat agree but I think it should be the dad’s decision. He knows his daughter the best and honestly the internet is so much worse for kids these days. Even on apps designed for kids such as Roblox or UA-cam Kids have very bad stuff in them, not to mention the bad adds you get on almost any app these days. Unless you’ve heavily restricted your child’s phone I don’t think they should have access to one until sixteen. If it was a different time maybe earlier but the amount of stuff on the internet is not safe for children. That doesn’t mean they can’t hang out with friends or go do things, they can still live life. I grew up having completely unrestricted access to the internet and not being able to step outside the door or hang out with friends, I know what it’s like not to live life. It also depends on the maturity of the child and how much you can trust them on the internet which is why the choice should be the parents. There’s no real definite answer to when or when not your kid should get a phone. I see where you are coming from completely though.

How we are raised we often view as normal because it's all we know. I think more dangerously she is learning from an early age that this kind of behaviour is what you do to get attention, that you should be posting this behaviour with a camera to the internet. That you gain value by exploiting yourself and your Children. Hopefully she grows up and sees it wrong but there is a far higher chance she will continue this cycle and think this is normal behaviour and this is how we get validation as a human, by exploiting ourselves for likes and money. Hopefully this stops and this cycle breaks before it's too late

My mom used to post me on Facebook and I ABSOLUTELY hate the men who prey on young children and parents who exploit children and dress them in certain ways (thanks for speaking about this💞)
Part of it is the irresponsibility of the mom, but the other part is the degenerates leaving those atrocious comments on the "suggestive" TikTok videos. They don't deserve human rights.

On tiktok I get dms I have to report and block ɓc I'm an adult but that doesn't give them the right to be a creep over a video usually about my experiences as an autistic individual. Sadly but also thankfully I get catcalled and hit on a lot less now that I'm actually legal which is unsettling but at the least I don't deal with it as much. I'm very happy to see someone like u talk about this, Kris. Bringing awareness is very important, and needs to reach even more people. I've always been very concerned about consent when it comes to stuff that will be exposed to people in a way like this.
As u said, posting cute pictures of ur child is not what we mean when we say "don't post ur child on social media". I personally would love to see a girl and a mom have fun at Disneyland, but being posted like Wren is being, is not that. You always need consent, no matter the age. Wren is too young to take that decision, that does NOT mean the parents immediately get to decide. That means "no" because stuff like this can be out for a very, very long time, and can have a negative effect on their life in the future.

When TikTok was new I begged my mom to get it but she said no. I ended up getting it and when she found out she NOT mad what so ever she was just sat me down and lightly touched on the topic of creeps. Ever since then I find it very upsetting to hear story’s like this because what my mom did was VERY good way of teaching me.

Ugh! This is awful. I just don’t understand these parents. The internet is a dark place and it follows your kid for the rest of their lives.
My one hard no is my friends and family posting pictures of my kids on the internet. They can share with our friends, but no public posts of where there is an indication of locations, identifying markers, anything really. I work in the “internet space” and I am so aware of all of the horrors. It makes me sick to my stomach!
