Boy - a beast of a trail. Interesting for me to compare the tools and techniques used by Utah and Oregon recovery teams Vs yours. Different environments obviously require different approaches. Thanks for sharing a good video show. Yep, I'm just another Arm Chair General with big needs for worth while diversion.
if you're referencing winching vs kinetic ropes... we have kinetics too, they work awesome in the snow here. and mud but we don't have much mud. winching is still the go to method to pull yourself back onto the trail here.
I don't think it made the video - pretty sure i edited out for time, but the cable lock worked great and stopped me pulling the winch line out at exactly the half way point on the drum!
payments too high,tried to roll it down hill.. seriously,,some people need to do a 4x4 course,,before,,buying a 4x4. n f i. no fkn idea..it has a 4x4 stiker,,it should go everywhere.. not..
It looks like they were on the other side of the river. I thought those trails went to nowhere or were closed to vehicle use a few years ago. Either way, good work.
The trail was actually completely snowed over a week ago it's been so warm here it's melting that fast. It still was not going to be able to drive out on its own so it had to be winched over and backed out.
I so wish we could post photos on here I'd love to post one of my rig.its not much but she's mine and she does the trick. She's a 2000 grand Cherokee who with a 5" lift with a 1 1/2 "wheel spacers and 31" mud tires
Just moved to northern co and just wondering how could I contact you guys incase I ever get screwed in the mountains and need to pay someone to tow me out?
Far exceeded their driving abilities on this terrain and not even aired down. Thanks to you and the crew they get to go get stuck somewhere different.
You can't learn if you don't get out though
@@JustinKingOffroad Right you are
@@JustinKingOffroad True dat
I'm happy seeing recoveries where people actually know how to use a winch. Great job!

@@JustinKingOffroad Glad it worked as designed. 👍🇬🇧
Thanks for the video.. It was fun to watch!
Nice job Justin! Not complicated, but necessary. Fun watching you get vehicles out!
I hope she goes back out again soon and understands everyone is new at the beginning, learn by doing..
Awesome wheel stand on the fj!
Always enjoy your vids!
Nice recovery. 😎👍☮️
Nice job everyone!
Great video thank you!
That's a good way to break in a new jeep. Run it up onto a off camber snow trail slide off and have it recovered. 🤣

how do you get a rubicon stuk like that.?.lack of 4x4 knowledge. lock everything,10 psi.. no probs.
Love to know the particulars on that nissan hardbody
Have you considered rim slings? They would making side pulling vehicles with minimal recovery points easier.
those are popular in the tow truck world where mire is near 0. but offroad when you're pulling really hard on wheels... we've seen them explode.
For the record Erics voodoo blue luv child has a nack for finding the alternative line and still getting out !!!
… and so it begins … winch fest 2021
I'm new to this and I don't understand why that green Jeep needed to be pulled. It didn't look like it was in a bad way at all.

This trail is open but yeah doesn't go anywhere. It's gated on other side. There's a whole network of trails though.
wow, thought those FJ's had a little more flex than that
Still quite capable
Greta job as usual sir. Is ur wrangler a eco diesel? If not do you have an opinion on them. Thanks
I have the 2.0 I4 engine. I want the diesel though lol.
How was the green jeep stuck? It's on dirt. Lack of driver skill I guess?

Swampers probably don’t do very well on the snow and ice would guess.
i got rubicon with 3 lockers,i got muddies,,new,,i got 40 psi.. what went wrong,,i just paid 70k for this 4x4..i dont understand..

They are staun deflators. Picked them up online.
