matter of fact… you should try to push ur chest to ur glove instead of the glove starting ur motion. pulling ur glove arm down to make that “rip” or “pull” will cause future problems in mechanics which will lead to blowing the front shoulder out and creating shoulder or elbow issue in the long run
How do you push your chest to the glove hand? I can't get that down. I'm having difficulties doing it . I have a habit of using momentum from my glove hand.
@@user-cy8lz7jw3o driving your legs towards your target. i was taught to pull dow on the glove hand to be able to throw slightly harder and in the long run i wasn’t throwing up to my full potential. I started doing that and pick up 8mph of the mound and 10+ mph on pull down
This is awesome! Thank you. I was looking for a little clarity on the hand. Some pitchers follow through and the thumb looks like it is turning over and down where others are maybe more parallel to the ground. To me it almost looks like someone is trying to throw a screwball. Can you help me understand this?
Thanks I learned to throw and I practiced a lot so now I'm a pro
Than q really helped out bro

Hey bro so your elbow is below the shoulder as your arm comes across, is that not short arming?

@@DanBlewett This is really helpful. Would you recommend encouraging 9 and 10 year olds to try and do this with their throwing?
no, it happens on its own
High elbow
the ball needs to be pointed towards center
Lol. No. It’s not 1978. No one teaches that anymore because it makes zero sense and no one actually throws that way.
well thats how i learned@@DanBlewett
