The lines in the lens actually help to aim the light output more precisely, so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic. Here’s where I get real, and I promise, I’ll make a video on this, not only to correct anyone that’s confused, but because I genuinely DO care about you guys learning something. So about getting real, the aspect of this video referring to “blinding” people, is in reference to someone standing directly in front of your car looking at about a 45 degree angle down at the headlights with the low beams turned OFF, demon eyes on, with enough “blinding” light to catch your general attention, more like a “woah, what was that?” The part of the video where I talk about Fresnel lenses versus crystal clear, I challenge you to first research, then get first hand experience, then come back with any valuable knowledge to correct anything in this educational video. A clear lens projector will be found on certain projectors, such as the JDM or Euro spec 2015+ GTR lights compared to the factory North American spec lights of the same year. The difference in the two compared side by side will show exactly one difference: Clarity. You can see the output more clearly, where it is designed to go. Not up in someone’s eyes. Not up on stop signs and back windows of cars like all the DBag truck drivers with reflector housings and HID/LED “upgrade” bulbs... Clarity on the road, and specifically the cut off line. The absence of the lines/dimples/frosted pattern on the projector lens, allows for a sharper line, with a bluer “prism” or “flicker”. You’ll notice this as well from many current LED equipped factory headlights, or Luxury cars with HID from years past. They have sharper cut off lines. That is what the clear lens gives you. All the keyboard warrior talk, or tisk tisk BS uninformed concern that will continue to be added to this video is both expected (sadly) and yet understandable. Lastly, if you saw this on the road, you wouldn’t hate me. You wouldn’t run me over. You wouldn’t say anything to me. You wouldn’t correct me, or frown. You’d walk past the car, notice some glowing lights with a weird pattern, and either like it or not care. If you were to visit my shop and see this kind of custom work in person, you’d say the things inside were cool and you were glad to have stopped by and met me.. and that I was bigger in real life than you expected. I gotta question man, I have a 2016 Silverado and just got the demon eyes, but I’m on 35 inch tires and an 8 inch lift so the headlights are just about eye level, would you recommend the bottom mount still? Or would it even make a difference with the truck being so high?
Nice video, I had a question. I'm in the middle of swapping out my OEM projector lenses with high performance etched ones and I cant figure out how to get the factory lense out. If you could help me out that would be great. Thank you.
What about BMW's "Laser" beams/lights? Can you do those kinds of mods on these, like for a 2019 M4? Also, the 370s come with HID xenon lights, what about cars that come with "real" LEDs like the Swift Sport 2019 on these the projector lens is not circular it is somewhat of a hexagonal shape.
So this is just to light up the lense? I have Halos so they would be around the lens I can still have the demon eyes? I'm asking because our state has a law against colored headlights
Why would you not use an epoxy to secure your circuit board rather than double stick tape? My worries would be the heat effect on the tape and long term life of your installation. There are some epoxies by Devcon that are heat rated also.
You’re missing one monster piece of the puzzle my friend, one that only comes from experience. You’re assuming that the part you want to ultra secure in place is not going to have any issues ever, and that much like a diamond being set into a piece of jewelry, this little LED board is perfect and will never experience failure or need to be replaced. Tape works great, it doesn’t all the sudden get tugged on by headlight gremlins inside the light, it’s secure yet replaceable, and it’s not messy. Practicality and efficiency my dude. Beats out overthinking and overbuilding all day every day 👌
Are you aware of any retrofittable LED projectors that dont have LEDs built in, so you could use a PnP LED like the diode dynamics SL1 i already own? Aftermarket projector housings im looking at are meant for halogen, and im told the projectors in them are trash. Is it just the projector glass thats junk? With more of your videos I'm getting motivated in upgrading my own light over the summer. So hope to learn as much as I can. Thank you!!
Hey like the video do you do E 60 BMW LCI lights
Hi Chris Did you ever customize a Toyota yaris tail lights?
Anyone else catch the Land Before Time reference? Lol 😂. Awesome!
Luis Estrada Yo!!!!!! Nobody has ever caught that! 🙌
on your daily driver do you have any custom lights
Matt Theman I don’t spend money on cars. At this stage of my life, all money goes back into the business or to my fam 👌
@@flyryde dont know is that sad or not. Not saying that your poor but it's sad you have a such passion against cars but don't have your own custom car. But at least your wise and put that money to better use👌
Is there something like this for Golf MK7.5?
Nice video, heard a few movie references in there, land before time,Friday,Varsity Blues lol... I probably missed a few but i subscribed now after this and the headlight seperation video im sold.!!!!!
Magnificent job 😎 really awesome stuff 👌🏻
DJ Boom got pics and video for you my man 👊
@@flyryde I would love to see that ❤🙌🙌
Angel eyes and demon eyes together are cool
Great vid buddy!! Love the honeycomb!!!!
I got me a 97 civic hatch and got the stock headlights, you think they'll fit?
Do you have a video of your test bench? I’d like to know your setup when testing your builds
You are you based from? Would love my charger r/t headlight done
Very professional modification...My concerns are: longevity of the LED pack in the hot projector enclosure, Water leaking in the outer plastic covering, Blinding on coming traffic at night, Can they be turned off while driving as in some areas they're illegal....Otherwise a beautiful well done light project...
Could you guys do something for ps13 Silvia projectors?
@flyryde i just want to ask where can i buy that honeycomb lens?
I gotta question man, I have a 2016 Silverado and just got the demon eyes, but I’m on 35 inch tires and an 8 inch lift so the headlights are just about eye level, would you recommend the bottom mount still? Or would it even make a difference with the truck being so high?
Nice video, I had a question. I'm in the middle of swapping out my OEM projector lenses with high performance etched ones and I cant figure out how to get the factory lense out. If you could help me out that would be great. Thank you.
This is really cool, but isn't it dangerous for oncoming traffic? Do they get blinded?
That is what I was thinking. Would you make the other person wreck?
What about BMW's "Laser" beams/lights? Can you do those kinds of mods on these, like for a 2019 M4? Also, the 370s come with HID xenon lights, what about cars that come with "real" LEDs like the Swift Sport 2019 on these the projector lens is not circular it is somewhat of a hexagonal shape.
The real question is, can we order it and it’ll be done for us or do we just order the lights and we gotta do it ourselves?
If it helps, truck is 2006 gmc sierra, and am told h1 mini 7.0 is the hid equivalent. Thanks in advance
Really everything is great but because there are no products for honda accord, many people do not agree with me but I love my car and I would love to be able to put some of the items that you have
Would you be able to do a BMW M3 E92/93 headlight? it's a very difficult job with the OEM Adaptive headlight and the reflector headlight.
I'm sure you would get huge number of views. Keep up the good work. Cheers
Can you guys install Halo Headlights with demon eyes? I wouldnt be able to do it myself. Lol! Where is your shop located?
Dude, you explain shit so well.
Efrit I try 🙏
Great!
Only some problems:
Do you sell kits, or sent material list?
Please, put subtitles in portuguese, I’m very básico english and you talk Very quick
Hey man where could I buy that demon eye light
Hi, I'm infiniti FX first generation fan can you please do a devil eyes video please.. thanks
Hey great work, have you done anything for the mitsubishi eclipse 95-99 model
what if you put one demon eye on the bottom and one on the top would it shine on the road and also have a blinder effect?
Look at the Genesis Coupe Headlight in the beginning. The demon eye has one of each. We did an Aston Martin last year with 2 demon eyes in each Projector. It was cool , but kinda seemed like a lot of extra effort for not much different of a look.
