    Love your video man. I don't know if I've built up the confidence yet to do this on my c400 but your video sure does make it seem like I can do it lol

    Using an open-end 17 MM wrench is a good tool to use instead of the vise-grips. I would use the old brake pad to C-Clamp that piston back in. I am not sure if sticking the end of the C-Clamp down the center of the piston like that is good for it. Good video otherwise.

    What was the c clamp for ? Like before you put it back on the rotor what were you doing before ? Just asking to be sure so when I do it I don’t miss a step

    • @vajrasamarasinghe4861
      @vajrasamarasinghe4861  3 роки тому +1

      The c clamp was to push/compress the piston back so that you can slide it on to the rotor with the brake pads.

    Thanks. Question: Do you need to replace the sensor too or the old sensor would be ok (if you replace the rotor and the pad)? Thanks again.

    • @steven__7009
      @steven__7009 2 роки тому

      If the old sensor is damaged or the wire is messed up in any way you should change it however if it is alright you may not need to, they should come with the pads try fcp euro, they also warranty pad and rotors

    I noticed you did release the brake fluid valve before pushing the piston back. That's a good way to ruin your master cylinder man. How is it running now?

    • @vajrasamarasinghe4861
      @vajrasamarasinghe4861  3 роки тому +1

      Runs perfect. Never released the valve, or bleed the lines. Just opened the fluid reservoir cap so, pushing the caliper piston back would be easy. Could you point me where in the video ? Maybe i didn't follow
