high quality work which is not common in typical repair shop. with that note, how come you don't recommend/suggest brake fluid flush with each brake pad replacement? I do mine at home and add extra 5 mins on each brake to flush the old fluid out.
Opening the bleeding valve when pressing brake cylinder to the caliper helps to remove overheated and worn brake fluid and will prevent from pushing back to the system .

Is it safe enough to change the brake fluid before retracting it, or is it better to retract it with the bleeding valve opened so that fluid doesn't go back to the ABS unit? Thank you very much

shivraj67 At every training center I’ve ever been to, I’ve always been told to put a very thin layer of silicone brake grease regardless of whether or not it has those extra anti-rattle covers on the pads, just as a precaution. I put it under the clips on the caliper bracket (where applicable, cause cars like my Mazda don’t have them) to prevent corrosion of the metal, and on top of them to take up the room between the clips and the pads, and then I personally don’t put it directly on the pad like a lot of people do, but I put it on the fingers of the caliper, and put a thin layer around the piston. That way all of the contact points are lubricated. And again it’s just a very thin layer, you don’t want to over grease it. BG and other brands similar also make a liquid product called Stop Squeal that you apply to the pad lining and allow it to soak for just a few minutes, and it’s supposed to somehow prevent the pads from squealing, I don’t know the particular science behind it though Is it the worst thing in the world if you don’t? Probably not But as a professional, I would rather take the extra few minutes to apply the grease and prevent the client from having to come back wondering if I did shoddy work, and I’ll always recommend people do the same when working on their own cars

BG and other brands similar also make a liquid product called Stop Squeal that you apply to the pad lining and allow it to soak for just a few minutes, and it’s supposed to somehow prevent the pads from squealing, I don’t know the particular science behind it though
Is it the worst thing in the world if you don’t? Probably not
But as a professional, I would rather take the extra few minutes to apply the grease and prevent the client from having to come back wondering if I did shoddy work, and I’ll always recommend people do the same when working on their own cars
Ganz akkurat mit Pfeile und Drahtbürste :D
Wir machen das immer mit der Flex und Drahtbürstenaufsatz, geht viel schneller und ist im Endeffekt besser sauber :)
stimmt :)
Aber super Video ;)
