Love this! I dont care what anyone says about Jackson, they are the best playing metal guitars to me. Their necks fit my hand like a glove and their string spacing is perfect for me. Incredible playing by the way!
Awesome love my DK2X series dinky with actives and a hardtail, I'm going to throw some emg's in there. I also would like to try some seymour duncan JB's in my les paul. I would like to own a mh-1000 deluxe just like the LTD you have with the abalone trim one day, that guitar is just super gorgeous.
I like the 80's and 90's Jackson's better, but I got a great deal on a mint condition 2018 Jackson X Series Soloist SLX DX ,changed the pick ups to the a duncan distortion and duncan jazz and the guitar screams now!!!
I used to have a black Fusion XL in the late nineties. It was an SSH. That was my second electric guitar and I never saw one like it since I sold it over twenty years ago.
Great video. I liked the camo the best. Anywho, I have two Jacksons. One is a JS32 with floating tremolo bridge and the other is a JRR 94 Concept flying V.
I love Jackson guitars! I've got the JS 32 King V, and Kelly, JS 22 7 string that I modded with Invader pups CTS pots Orange drop capacitor PureTone input jack and hipshot locking tuners, I've also got the cheapest P-bass in that crazy green and the black minion bass (so much fun!) that I'm putting an American standard PJ pickup set into. Jackson guitars have such great necks! I tend to buy lower end models and upgrade mainly because I love to tinker and I come away with a deeper understanding of each guitar and a personalized setup.
I have a JS22 Dinky as a mod platform with Wilkinson Alnico pickups, hipshot locking tuners, graphtech saddles, and a different capacitor and it rips. I also have a RR Pro 22 fret in gloss black with the Seymour Duncan Distortion mayhem set. Only mod on that is the titanium string blocks in the bridge.
my favorite was I think the 3rd Jackson you played. It had the quiltred top and was a amber type color. I am a ackson freak. I have a few of them around here. I believe it was a pickup cofiguration that was hss. They all were pretty cool Jackson's, in fact I have one coming tomorrow.
That was a DK2 Modern, not a DK2 Pro. The pro has the pointy hockey stick headstock and traditional body contours. The DK2 modern looks like this... new headstock and new body contours around the edges.
I have 2 jackson pro series king v's one with a floyd rose and the other with a kahler , I've played a bunch of guitars by far my favorites feeling neck
I own 3 jacksons my first one i got is a gloss blue js11 dinky, 2nd one is metallic black with a silver burts and its a js34 dinky with floyd rose and my last one is matte black js32 floyd rose dinky. Jackson guitars personally fits me the best. Although i do have 2 ibanez gios.
I love the Dinky Series Js32. I also love the 80s. The soft fretboard and style are my favorite. I will come over from Orlando and check out the shop. I like that Dinky Pro Series Blue guitar. I need one in standard tuning because my current Jackson is in D standard. Great video and very well done! Keep shredding dude! You are the best teacher.
Last Jackson I had was the DKA-EX. Came with Fishman modern pickups...insane output and clarity. I didn't care for the bolt-on neck, or the "licensed" FR Bridge though.
Hey Jason, I have 2 Soloists. One is a Pro Series with HH config. The build quality is amazingly good and it is easy and fun to play. Then I have a new American Series SL3 with the SSH config. This guitar is on a whole new level. I love my Pro Series, but the SL3 is insane. I would like to have seen your review on this one. Apparently, they didn't have one for you to play. Too bad.
I really love Jackson guitars and own a Soloist X series, a Rhoads RR5 (MIJ) and a seven string Juggernaut. For me, they sound great and look great, the sharkfin inlays, the headstock, awesome 😋
Guitarists be like: OMG THIS NATURAL WOOD FINISH Bassists: I know, right? We've been doing it for decades lol! XD I love the sign in the background lol "Please ask for assistance with amps" :D My Kiesel Xcellerator has scallop cuts like that on the horns of the black Jacksons, I love it. Those bridges are wild, they look like FR saddles but it's a fixed bridge. Laurel is a cheaper alternative to rosewood from my understanding. Nice pick! I almost bought a bass with a finish like that, but red where it's white. I'd be more inclined for that one, the black guitars had godless gloss black necks and I cannot stand gloss finish necks lol :D
😅 It's funny you mentioned the sign. I was filming there last week (5150 Iconic video will be out tomorrow) and Cliff asked me if he should move the sign so it's not in the video...nah, keep it!! Yeah I'm not a gloss finish fan either
What's funny is, I'm usually the guy who goes for a gloss black guitar... But my absolute favorite here is the first multi color camo. It's just screams, bring me home, I'll show you 80's metal. 😄 Thinking of ordering that one Jason, overall how was the neck on that one ?
Don’t ya think that maybe a Floyd rose equipped guitar would not be good for beginners?especially one that has a trash trem on it,maybe a hard tail of those versions
@@jasonstallworth I bet. There are getting pretty expensive these days. Here in Canada, even a Jackson X Rhoads (lowest end, neckthrough) is 1239$ + 17% tax. The Pro/Custom neckthrough ones are nearly 4,000$ and you don't even have a case. Still the symbol of Metal though...

I’ve began my guitar journey two months ago and I picked up a JS11 Dinky and JS32 Warrior. I can’t stop playing on these metal machines!
They Dinky's are great! 🤘
Been waiting all week for this.🤟🏻🎸
Yeah man it was cool playing them all, although I didn't go home with one. Kinda saving for something else!
Awesome bro! Your metal journey is not complete until you own a Jackson Rhoads Jason! And your playing and teaching deserves it.
genau 😊
🤘 🙏
Love this! I dont care what anyone says about Jackson, they are the best playing metal guitars to me. Their necks fit my hand like a glove and their string spacing is perfect for me. Incredible playing by the way!
They are built for metal and yeah, I've never played a bad one!
Man you were makin' smoke on those fretboards! Thank you for sharing. Subscribed.

Great video man. Love the selection at Reply Guitar! Keep the video's coming Jason! \m/
Thanks for the kind words about the store!
🙏🏻🤘
@ 8:43 finally!
reversed headstocks & shark tooths 🔥🔥🔥
The 80s metal style!
Great video great view sounds great audio. Playing guitar 🎸.
Good...cause for the tones, I just used my iPhone mic! The fancy mics do not pic up metal guitar tones well!
When are you releasing the Lead guitar course Jason.?
I'm a bit behind on that. Still finishing up my album and once that's done (very soon!) I will immediately start working on the lead course
I used to have a black Fusion XL in the late nineties. It was an SSH. That was my second electric guitar and I never saw one like it since I sold it over twenty years ago.
Yeah I'm still kicking myself for getting rid of the Jackson P4 Performer I played in the 90s
Great video. I liked the camo the best. Anywho, I have two Jacksons. One is a JS32 with floating tremolo bridge and the other is a JRR 94 Concept flying V.
🤘
Local store has many, but my favorite is the USA Custom in what I would describe as Kawasaki green.
I'd like a darker green one!
Yeah, I'd like to have that one too.

Yeah, you can throw better pickups in those cheaper models because they play really well
I have a JS22 in Blue, also a JS32TQ DKA, Amaranth fretboard, transparent black, hardtail, love it.
🤘
All I own right are Jacksons and their the lower end but with upgraded pick ups 😎🤘. Warrior js32 , rr minion and dx 7
That works great and saves you money!
Just got the DK2X in Matte Army Green... absolutely love it.

Yeah I was one the fence with that one but the design started to grow on me

I have 2 jackson pro series king v's one with a floyd rose and the other with a kahler , I've played a bunch of guitars by far my favorites feeling neck
Love the King Vs!
I love that you're going with a Jackson and you made a great choice with dk2 ! I have a king v jh 32 and I absolutely love it. Can't stop playing it.
They're great guitars!
My personal favorite guitars is the Jackson slx dx multi camo because it reminds me of Kirk Hammett's karloff mummy guitar, which he uses live. 0:42

I love my Ibanez, too...I could easily survive on Jackson, Ibanez, and ESP guitars

Yeah definitely stop by…it’s a cool place! And I appreciate the support 🙏🏻🤘
Dude! it was awesome to have you in the store again! Can't wait to see what sort of guitars we check out next.
Always love hanging out in there man!
That's awesome Jason Jackson guitars sound really cool👍👍🤘🤘

My Jackson is the x series kelly KEX gloss black with gold hardware.

RAD !
So glad you put in the description what amp you played through
You met Chris Broderick!?! 😳👍
The etched guitar is suuuuuper cool 👍
Yeah, I forgot to include that in the video...it's a killer amp!
I have a Jackson JS34Q color red and I love this Guitar.🤩

I've always loved the soloist series!
My favorite is the color camo, I have that exact guitar so I'm a little biased in that regard lol
It's got a cool look!
I have a Jackson Soloist Pro Series and I love it.
🤘
I just got the first one that you showed today!
🤘
The X series are great 'blank canvas' guitars. Drop in the pickups and tuners you like and work your way up from there.
🤘
Sounding great, Jason. I'd take the 1st one or third
Both of those played nice!!
The third one I actually got to try out in my local music store and I've been saving up for it since, definitely a good guitar
Just bought a Gus G star and im in loveeee, Jacksons are so nice and fun to play

Cool guitars,I have an older Jackson dinky reverse neck with Joe Satriani pick ups, plays sweet.
🤘
awesome video, man!!Could you tell me what are the songs you played on the first 3 guitars? (the riffs)
Thank you...I'm just making up stuff on the fly as usual! I do have albums and here's my latest: www.jasonstallworth.com/music/overcometh/
I have the blue cobalt ,modified with Floyd rose 1000 gold !! Rock on !!
🤘
I think you picked the best one Jason! Love that design
🤘
Testament 🤘 It’s my favourite album of theirs.
Subbed ,great videos man.
🤘
Hello Jason !!! I am between the third guitar you are playing (the blonde HSS Jackson) and a LTD M-HT black metal...which one do prefer most ???
I'm a bit more biased towards ESP-LTD. The playability of almost any LTD models always wins for me. Jacksons are great, too
Camouflage would be my choice 😂❤❤❤. Thank you for sharing your video ❤❤
🙏🤘
I have a Jackson JS32T Flying V in Ferrari red 😎🤘🏻🤘🏻. And am not selling it anytime soon. Had about at least 7 years know .
🤘
THE BEST IDEA WITH THE JACK IN THE BACK

@@jasonstallworth Awesome Jason! 🤘
The old japan ones feel way better to me and I love the necks so much
🤘
I absolutely love Testament!!!

Nice music shop. Friendly. Definitely not corporate music world.
The folks at Replay Guitar Exchange are all awesome! Definitely visit (they do online orders, too, free shipping - link in the description)
Thanks for the kind words! Appreciate it!
Don’t ya think that maybe a Floyd rose equipped guitar would not be good for beginners?especially one that has a trash trem on it,maybe a hard tail of those versions
There's no right or wrong answer. If you get one as a beginner, that may save you $ from having to buy another later.
Jason play Jackson!!
🤘
Nice 💯🎸
🤘
To me it's not a Jackson without the shark fin inlays ;)
🤘
The second one sounded best to me.

Jackson Dk34 Silverburst archtop
🤘
@@jasonstallworth the fingerboard is amaranth on mine maybe same on that camo x series soloist ?

CB guitar was the best one

the dinky plays better than the Brodrick sig
😯
Supposedly jackson guitars are not as good as they used to be, ever since they stopped making guitars in japan
I've heard that from many folks and hopefully they'll start making them there again at some point

I pick the cheapest one
They all played great
