Yes, it’s my fave too 💕
Hey gorgeous! Welcome to Dubai. You should have a look at apartments in business bay. Similar budget to Satwa but a way better location. There is a metro station as well. And if I can give one more piece of advice: definitely go with a building that HAS pool and gym. During the summer months you really gonna be happy you did that, because most likely it’s gonna be a hassle to get to a gym. If you just have to go downstairs/upstairs in your building, you more likely will go. I lived in a building once without pool and gym, when I moved to Dubai, I hated it and couldn’t wait to move. I also have to add, my building has pool and gym, but I only use the gym in the summer months, otherwise I have a membership that allows me to go to nearby hotels/gyms. But if you don’t have a membership like that, and going to the gym is important to you, you absolutely have to rent an apartment in a building with gym and pool!
Agreed on Business bay. I feel like Satwa and Al Barsha are trying to attract new comers with nice newly remodelled apts but location is still not the best. They are remodeling a lot of Discovery Gardens as well, I noticed. We lived in Al Furjan for 18months and just purchased villa in Dubai Hills Estate. Cannot say it enough, best location 😇❤️
Hello! Currently apartment searching in Dubai. I’ve been seeing comments mention DIFC and Business Bay, but my only reservation is that the interior of the apartments seem outdated for the asking price. Any recommendations on areas or buildings with modern interiors? Also, what is your take on Mohammed Bin Rashid City or Arjan? I’d appreciate your insight! Planning on renting for a year or two then purchasing a villa as well. Thank you!
What about Mulberry Hills 1&2?.. what's the rent range?
@@sapphirepixy18Muhammad bin rashid is great but I think it’s a bet pricey !!
Can do just 500 push ups each day, no need for fancy gym.
My dream is to live in Dubai so looking at these makes me feel good 😂
Same here! Hopefully in May. 😌
Aww love that, more to come 💕
I just moved to Dubai about a month ago and I personally really struggled to find and apartment I work in Media City and ended up settling for a fully furnished studio in JVC. The older buildings have better space (450 sq ft and above) for sure furniture is not up to par but it will have to do for now. I would be careful with agents as well someone already swindled me.
The 1st one hands down was the best one! 😊
The 1st apartment is goals
Thank you, Dubai is the move for child-free women. It seems like real-life sims over there! Thanks for the insight
I can't wait to leave the US and move over to Dubai. Set up my businesses and enjoy something different then what the US have to offer. Happy Apt hunting 🥰
This was so fun, laid back and informative to watch. Thanks for taking us along. xx
You’re welcome 🤍🤍
Only recently started following you and have to say this vlog by far the best of its kind I’ve seen posted and full of detail. Thanks for sharing
The first one was the one. The ones in between was a bit basic but you get what you pay for I guess with those
Love this, really making me want to move out there 😩
love this series! thanks for bringing us with you!
LOVE this!! What websites do people use to find a job in dubai. From london? xx
Please share more, super interested to see other properties!!
The first one by far sis, I think that's defo a winner!
Al Barsha AKA Santorini is my favorite. Its modern and homey. You said "walk in shower", for clarification please, is there no bathtub?
I love your music selection, skillful rap and singing with positive words and vibe.
unfortunately not moving to Dubai anytime soon, but this was so interesting!
I absolutely love the first one, something about it 😍💕
why is everyone from london moving to Dubai? it seems to me Dubai is going to be the new NYC or LA . I hope you find your apartment.
London is falling fast; rampant crime; ridiculously expensive; terrible weather. Dubai is clean, safe, low tax, forward thinking. Obviously you will have to deal with 4-5 months of really hot weather. Nov- May are nice.
Babe... no. Stay outta Al Satwa and Al Barsha.... these are not for you. If you work in DIFC... live there... the apts are nice but these areas are for como se dice... known to be where...lower wage personnel live. And as a long time resident of UAE.. natural light is cute n cool in winter... summer it equals heat and hot AF. You need black out curtains starting in May-Sept. You can find nice stuff in DIFC but girl don't do Al Barsha or Satwa...
Yeah I’ve settled for Business Bay - I realised 🤧
LOL 😆- Dropping reality re: Natural light. I was staying in hotels for months, so I got to see all lots of different areas. Hotel wise, I spent most time in Al Barsha, near Mall of the Emirates, but not sure I'd live their. It doesn't have that, je ne sais quoi. Although I do miss Al Barsha, I'll visit when I'm back for sure, lot's of nice people there.
@@Lamideelizabeth Good choice. That's my next destination (God Willing) - eventually when the area near Peninsula is finished in a few years, I'm sure it'll be really good.
looking at apartments in Dubai now, thank you for this video!
Very fair pricing and affordable ❤
I like #1. #4 in second place.
Ohh the first one was the best. Nothing else compared 😂
i am moving to Dubai...
Thanks for uploading this video
HI Lámidé, congratulations on your move! Your videos have been very fun and informative compared to other vlogs on Dubai. Was wondering if you could share the company that you've used to facilitate your move to the UAE? I am thinking of relocating to Dubai myself and am looking for reliable consultants/lawyers to help me with that. Thanks so much!
Love the Apartment tour in Dubai I Love it. I'm Planning to move there soon. 👍❣️🤩❣️🥰
I love Dubai🌹♥️🌹
Just curious, how much per month are the cheapest apartments in London?
For a 1 bed with today's rise in the cost of living crisis, you're looking at £1300 & that's quite generous
Minimum 2k for anything worth living in
@@fredrickode not true. That’s a room or a studio. You’re looking at upwards of £1.7k
@@bobbie750 how about anything "not worth living in". I personally only need a place to lay my head for an internship no matter how bad the accommodation
@@tsemayekekema2918 you can get a decent one bedroom for £1300-1400 in London but they aren’t so easy to get
I also I'm coming to Dubai!
Welcome to Dubai!🎉
Hi!! Nice video!! Just because to let put your exact location if you find an apartment.
Did you find , my office is also in DIFC and looking for 2 BHK at around 90-100 K/ Yr, any recommendation.. going out with the agent to see the ET today
Most of these prices are negotiable
I wonder what it will cost to buy one of those apartments?
That is such a good price!!
Do thhey have churches in Dubai?
Yes.
Plenty as you want
How are you finding it there as a woman? Do you feel men looking at you in a certain way if you don't dress "modestly"? Can you behave like you would behave at home?
No one is looking at you anyhow in Dubai and you can dress as you love
Hi Lamide, how did you find out the agents were lying to you? (horrible btw) Do you always double check facts on sales or did you get a tip off?
They would said things like the metro is ‘near’ and I’d check the map and itd be nowhere near or I’ll just ask my colleagues about some of the things. It’s usually like white lies, underestimations or over exaggerations so they can make a sale so I just learn to double check everything
What about furniture
Al Satwa and barsha are a no go
Agreed with Al Satwa, what’s wrong with Al Barsha?
@@Lamideelizabeth it’s not a great area, very old and a lot of traffic. I would go for difc, business bay, downtown or Dubai hills.
I wanted to say this too...stay in DIFC
Amazing
Song???
I would appreciate if anyone can get me an apartment in DIFC , Business Bay , Discovery Gardens or JLT .
Commission is not an issue.
