    I am a white guy with thick long hair and I have used your original oil recipe for so long!!!!
    I noticed my hair just looked better over all, (it was healthy ish, never colored) more body and shine
    I grease and massage my scalp 3 times a week the night before I wash my hair. Everyone asks me about my hair, I usually have it in a bun and when I take it down they can’t believe how nice it is and I tell them your oil recipe. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🌈🌈🌈

    I'm newly subscribed. My hair (3b) used to grow mega fast - 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch per month. Within a 10 year timeframe, I've grown it out to my waist or even tail bone 3 or 4 times and donated it various hair charities and a wig maker. Ironically I had to undergo chemotherapy and lost it all. I've since beaten cancer (to the Glory of God) and my hair is growing back, but it grows ever so slowly now. I also have to draw my eyebrows in every day and wear layers of mascara because those hairs are sparse. Thank you for your method and recipe - my "signature look" was ultra long hair - this looks like the help I need to achieve it again! 🤗😚🤗😚 I also subscribed, because like you, I've done a ton of research on black cumin seed oil. It's amazing! Thank you for being so well researched!!!

      So good to hear that you overcame cancer! Tip for growing strong, long lashes: aloe Vera gel. I use an empty (I buy them on AliExpress so it’s new and has never been used for mascara) mascara tube and apply the gel to my lashes at night before going to bed. Be sure to buy organic, at least 98% pure aloe Vera gel.

    It probably would be better to use dried rosemary for the oil. Because the moisture in the fresh rosemary will make the oil go bad really quickly unless a broad spectrum preservative is added.

      Exactly I was about to say the same thing. When I make my oils and I'm using fresh herbs from my garden, I dry them out properly after cleaning them before I add to the oil because it will make it Rancid. If you can buy the fresh dried herb it works perfect.

I take Hair Hero Hair Vitamins and other vitamins and collagen to fight this on-going battle. I'm trying to be consistent with my hair regime. I'm getting better. One thing I've begun again is applying your hair growth oil on a daily basis. I kid you not, I don't think it's been a month and my bald temple areas is growing like mad! I showed my two daughters approx. a couple of weeks ago how my hair is growing in those areas. It's doubled in growth since then! My hair is still shedding slightly due to the beta blockers I'm on. I've got to use rice water and aloe vera gel spray on a daily basis again. My hair has never been long, but it's always been thick. I''ll be satisfied if I can re-gain the thickness back. I

    I really like this style with the B role in the kitchen area. The lighting when you're doing the sit down washes your color out because its a bit harsh Maybe defusing the light a bit more or using bounce boards could help with that. Or you can even try turning down the exposure while filming and then adjusting it in post-production. Either way, I love you and the content you put out! I'm definitely a fan!

    Hi, Curly Proverbz, I have tried this oil in conjunction with the intake of Vitamin C and MSN since the beginning of August 2019 and I have seen good results (it’s almost the end of November 2019 now). My hair is thicker and it has grown in that time whereas before seeing any growth results took much, much longer. And it has grown about three inches which may not be a lot to many but it is something and noticeable for me. My hair even bounces now when I take out my flat twists and I absolutely don’t have to style my hair as much daily because it holds better and it just feels and looks overall more healthy than it has in a long time. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us! 🙌🏾

    Amazing video Curly Proverbs. Could you please talk about hair shedding in your next video? Like how much do is normal to shed daily and on wash days? x

    • @sassyrarebreed9914
      @sassyrarebreed9914 5 років тому

      V M As far as shedding that varies from person to person. You have to know your hair and find what's your normal. I know everybody likes to say 80 to 100 strands but that's not the case for everyone. My hair rarely sheds. I can go 8 months and my hair barely sheds if any. Then some days 5 or 10 strands. Are you losing handfuls every time you cleanse your hair? Are you losing handful every time you cleanse your hair ? then how much hair are you losing during the week? there's a lot of factors that could be going on. Remember healthy hair starts from the inside out. A lot of people put a lot of emphasis on the products that they're applying to their hair but don't underestimate the internal. Your hair and skin are a direct result of what's going on on the inside.

    • @vm6796
      @vm6796 5 років тому

      @@sassyrarebreed9914 thank you for your advice. I eat a very healthy diet that is mostly low GI which consists of organic fruits, veg, protein, probiotics, soaked nuts and seeds. I also take supplements, only drink water and I exercise frequently. I am a big believer in solving problems internally first and topically second and if I am honest I don't believe it's my diet. But my hair sheds quite a bit each day, it's not handfuls but it surprises me how delicate my scalp can be sometimes. I am sticking to ayerveda and only putting things on my scalp twice a week, as I want to give it time to breathe and I'm afraid of it being overclogged and new growth not coming through. I am going to get a blood test soon and was thinking of seeing a trichologist, but I am not sure if that is necessary.

    Thanks Curly! Hands down the most useful natural hair care UA-cam channel.
    Just got through washing my hair and applying my oil mix. You definitely got me to look at hair care differently. I now nourish my hair not coat it.
    Slept with a garlic, onion, honey and ginger root juice I massaged in my scalp. It smelled ripe. I slept with a shower cap on. But the affects after the shampoo. My hair feels like silk. The shine is unreal. The henna, chebe, fenugreek, indigo, fish oil (small amount for no smell) olive oil, tea tree, blackseed and lavender castor oil mix. Was the finisher after rosemary and mint wash out conditioner. And apple cider and vinegar rinse.
    What I learned from you, anything you ingest internally can also be applied to your hair. The kitchen is open.

    Curly, I was watching another subscription channel. I had to pause them, girl. 🤣🤣 And today is my hair day. The first vid with the msm, fenugreek, henna etc., you said to let it sit in the cabinet (dark ) for a long time. So, I just pour the top oil when needed into another smaller bottle that I store inside a sock, to keep the light from breaking down the oil. No problems. So, I hope it’s ok.

    Tried using this oil for about a month and a half - I had to do a drastic trim due to breakage so was so happy when I found this video. After only about a month and a half of consistently using the oil, doing the scalp massages and 2 x hot oil treatments, my hair has grown. It is longer than it ever was before I had to trim it, healthy, rich and so strong (and also super black - but I don't mind)!!! Thank you Curly Proverbs - love and appreciation from South Africa.

      Sony K800 Hello, It's one of those,with a long list of benefits that the medical profession doesn't want people to know about. Off the top of my head here are some benefits. Hair & scalp( growth, alopecia, scalp health,strengthen) I use it in hair oils and Butters and products that I made for my hair. Is great for your skin I use it on my face and my body. It works on acne and some other facial issues. It works on pain when rubbed on your muscles, inflammation, you can rub it on your temples if you have a headache/pressure there. You can rub it on your sinus pressure points on your face to relieve sinus pressure,p. Yes it does help heal ulcers when taken internally, cholesterol, weight, inflammation on the inside your body, restful sleep, diabetes & holistically we use a treating cancer patients . I used it on my uncle when he had brain cancer, I just used it on a patient with lung cancer and we were able to shrink it down to where they can remove it all from surgery and he did not have to have chemo or radiation. I'm trying to think off the top of my head list is long. I'll come back to this comment and add more when I get a chance but it's definitely an oil worth having in your refrigerator make sure you refrigerate it. I just made a really nice body oil that I use when I get out of the shower and I put some essential oils in it and mixed it with a couple of other good oils like hemp oil ,evening primrose. I can go on but this comment is getting long. LOL if you have any other questions though feel free to ask I don't mind. Helping people is what I do.💙

    How long are you supposed to keep the oil in your hair? Overnight? 30 mins? I am Indian and used to have thick hair but have been experiencing ridiculous hair fall since I had my daughter (but that was 5 years ago!) Sometimes after leaving in any kind of hair oil overnight I feel like the hair fall is even more...? Could be my imagination but just can’t figure if it’s just that my hair needs to get used to it. Thanks and I love your channel! ❤️

    Excellent video as always however, I find that massaging my hair outside of wash day tends to lead to knots at the roots which makes it had to maintain my curly style throughout the week or even just to be able to neatly pull up my hair is one. Is it that you do this mostly on stretched styles? Please, anyone with any suggestions I would be grateful if you would share.

      When you massage, the proper way is not to move the hair but to move the scalp. Do it in a circular motion with the tips of your fingers. Place the finger tips straight to the scalp by sort of lifting your roots so that your fingertips are touching your scalp. Then move the fingers in a circular motion for a few minutes. Relax all your face muscles and close your eyes. Now lift your fingers and move to another area until you have completed your whole head. This is how you avoid tangled roots

    Hello Curly Proverbs! I just want tell you, olive oil should be brought in a dark glass bottle and if you look on the back of the bottle it should have a date annnd make sure it comes from one country. Sometimes it has several countries that it comes from. (I know weird right?) Anyway if you buy real olive oil in a dark glass bottle it will smell very different from the one in a plastic bottle with has “car” oil in it. 👎🏾 Do the smell test and you’ll see what I mean.
