    I don't have an oily scalp or skin for that matter. I haven't oiled my scalp in 30 years however I do put a moisturizing oil on my hair. After I stopped oiling and grease my scalp my hair started to grow longer and faster

      I can relate. The scalp naturally oils itself when it’s properly balanced. 💜 Kudos to healthy hair! 👏👏👏

    Lady Karen, this is very informative. What of avacado oil????

    • @KarenofCurlHouse
      @KarenofCurlHouse  11 місяців тому

      Hey Maria! Avocado oil has a comedogenic rating of 3 so its on moderately likely to clog -- I think you can use it to seal the hair but would be mindful on placing it on the scalp. But it's on the borderline you can try it as some things work for some and not for others.

    When I was younger hair grease was all that was used on my hair and scalp. I had long hair as a little girl. Hair stylist told me over the years that grease was bad for my hair and scalp.

    What's the best product to use to shave between the legs. Not being volgur I'm just saying that conversations I've heard some people have been infested with all sorts of crawling things even bed bugs on a rug between the legs. Love the lip stick right on purple looks great on ya.

    I am challenged with finding a clear or white oil for my scalp. My hair is grey but getting whiter everyday. Yellow and green oils taint my hair color. Looks like shae butter might be my best choice.

    What about MCT oil? Seeing that its thinner, would you say it's less likely to clog the pores? Great video as always Karen!

    • @KarenofCurlHouse
      @KarenofCurlHouse  Рік тому +3

      Hello there! Had to do a little research on this one, but MCT oil by itself has a lower comedogenic rating than coconut oil, therefore is will NOT clog the pores 🙌🏾

    It's been exposed that most stores sell olive oil which is not all olive oil but has other type oils in it and coloring to give it that look of olive oil. The real olive oil is expensive and mostly sold in glass bottles not plastic.
    Jojoba oil is great!
