I love the JSTA pouch. I use mine as a “micro battle belt” where I have it staged with a pistol mag, rifle mag, TQ, gloves, notepad, and sharpie, and just thread a belt through it. It makes for a quick, easy handout to someone without their own full-time belt, and also easy to throw into a trunk or backpack to expand your capability. This is a dope little integration of it into an entirely different type of system. Great product and great concept.
i bought one with the same sentiment in mind. mine consists of a med kit, cat tq, leatherman tool, left the second pocket open to utilize as a “dump”, 1 rifle mag, and 1 pistol mag. i get an extra pistol mag when paired with my appendix sidecar essentially giving me a battle belt setup.
Dude thank you so much for all your stuff! This week I got a nightforce 2.5-20x50 NX8 and tomorrow I’m getting a badger comm 1.54” mount for it. I put it on my 14.5 block 2 esk build with a ton of my own additions like a law folder and vltor buffer system. The dream is to take her out to 600 in a ridge line class one day. Not exactly made of money tho and this build has taken 5 years and over 6k to make. So it may be a year or two yet
These are the videos I absolutely love. Dudes using their kit, finding things that don’t work, applying some creativity, and making a system that works. You definitely earned my sub/like/share on this one! Stoked to check out your channel more
This is a bad ass way to compartmentalize different kit build outs so you can grab your rifle, your main bag with general stuff , and your specialized bag with the specific kit you need.
I've been using a usgi butt pouch with a sling as a mussett bag for my DMR trips. .308 mags, dope book, pen and pencil, extra ammo. The sling tightens to belt size, and it works well slung under my rifle strap. I'm going to add a sand bag to it to use as a hasty brace.
just stumbled across this video a year late and realized I have most of these pouches and hardware just sitting around... mismatched colors but I'm gonna throw it all together and give it a try!
That's pretty neat. Yeah I've been thinking of something similar, to detach from the sling or stock. Not necessarily a multi mag pouch but the sandbag, rangefinder... the necessary force multipliers need for the application so to say 👍🦾🤘
@@jimmybrodriguez ahh okay, yeah after re watching again I see what your points are. Quite literally a sling bag lol I thought it was just a purely standalone piece of kit, which a bandoleer is more so than the bag can integrate easier.
To be frank, the fixed blade knife, of that size, is not necessary. What sort of combat or bushcraft are you doing at a match that would necessitate a fixed blade knife of that size? Run a Gerber or Leatherman and call it a day; that'll do 95% of what you'll need to accomplish in a match. Even then, when I was in the Army, I never had a need for a large fixed blade knife. Combat doesn't involve bayonet charges anymore, and a Gerber tool opened every MRE I ate without issues.

Yeah it’s become one of my favorite ouches from them for this reason

It takes time sometimes but it’ll be worth it and you should be able to hit 1000 with that setup

I was passively listening until the bag rider tip came up. I legit paused the video and ran over to do that. Works great, thank you!
The little tips we learn along the way are usually the best
This is a bad ass way to compartmentalize different kit build outs so you can grab your rifle, your main bag with general stuff , and your specialized bag with the specific kit you need.
Yup my thoughts exactly
I do that exactly. One DMR, one shotgun fanny pack, one "driveway" sack that carabiners to my range bag in case of apocalypse. Works really well.
This series on long range shooting content is amazing!!!!
Thanks! It’s been fun learning and sharing along the way
Electrical Tape tip is great! The stock on a rifle has been bothering me how much the rubber on the side catches on clothing and that works great.
Now that is a MAN'S purse!
love it cheers brother keep up the awesome channel

Clever idea with the sling. Nice solution
🤌🏼

I knew watching this video would cost me more money.
You might like the T Rex Eagle Active Shooter Response Sling Bag as well. It’s kinda similar if you’re looking. Love the content man!
Thanks for the idea.
Reminds me of a LA police gear Bailout bag.
That bag is too big
Love all your content carnal! Echale ganas
Appreciate it!
CQB optimized as i am 😂 thats a good one
I just made a friend! And that's why you watch til the end of the video! 😂
Nice idea 💡
🙌🏻
For your kestrel, do you use the 5700 elite or just the regular 5700? Trying to decide if the extra 200 is worth it for the elite.
Just an FYI - you can always upgrade from the OG 5700 to the Elite for $300 after the fact if needed.
I use the elite
Which dope card arm band are you using?
Sunrise tactical but there’s a lot of good options
You should look into get the minute man bag from sewjourned gear
Now that's what I call a micro 3day assault pack
Can you do a work bench video?
Yeah I’ll get one going since I get this question a lot
Which rangefinder ?
That's pretty neat. Yeah I've been thinking of something similar, to detach from the sling or stock. Not necessarily a multi mag pouch but the sandbag, rangefinder... the necessary force multipliers need for the application so to say 👍🦾🤘
You should produce this and call it the recce purse
Is that bag really $93 ? 👀
Did he make a bandolier ??
Nah. A bandolier doesn’t hold as much nor does it work well with a pc and chest rig.

aight i already copyrighted this, we start R&D tomorrow and itll be live in a week
Sick. Will it come in white monster pattern?
indiana jones had a satchel
Don’t tempt me with a good time. I’d run a leather satchel at a match
What watch is that?
BB58
Goon pouch, coming soon…
🤫🤫🤫🤫
🔥🇺🇸🤙🏻
🤘🏼
So … since we’re friends now, when are we going shooting? Lol
All the time
The true man purse
A laptop bag 💼

Yeaaaaahhhh like I said in the video I have no practical use for it and only had it mounted to demonstrate how that space could be utilized.
Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack.

The real mvp
You should atleast double the ammount of paracord your currently carrying imo. Paracord goes really really fast when shit goes really really wrong
