As eternal patrol medic I've never been in a role where back panels are applicable, the thought of having inaccessible kit useless to me in everything but an urban stack situation was anathema, only thing close to a back panel I've run is a hydration bladder pouch plus a side accessible radio pouch, that can still have a backpack combat first aid kit or field pack over it. I have a Camelbak HAWG and it worls great over a carrier because the should straps can carry wide making it comfortable over a carrier.

Great informative video. It definitely gives those who don't have experience using a carry system (ie back panel, flc, assault panel). Every "accessory" is a personal preference or best for the mission and position in the team (ie only designated driver).
The majority of backpacks extend down to the hips and lower which eliminates one's basic pace speed. It's easy to prove. Just grab the shoulder straps, lift them up high to achieve having the backpack to located above the hips. Try walking a given distance doing both and you will notice that you can actually move faster with a backpack located above your hips.
it honestly sounds like as a pro. You're gonna need more than one kit setup. Like you said, depending on your role. Seems like drivers would basically be the bare essentials. Minimum gear just to say you're equipped for an assault but not weighing you down or being cumbersome while driving or getting-in or out of a car. You're gonna be reliant on a support. I think personally that a pack or backpack is meant for a support/breacher/medic role. Support would have alot of extra gear and extra stuff so a pack or a backpack is necessary. Depending on what kind of support. Maybe weapons support or the 3rd or second guy from the stack. Breachers depending on what kind of setup they running might just be a pack. But if you're a demo guy. You're gonna need a backpack or an assaulter's kit to house all your det cord, E.D's, initiators and controllers, breaching tools, batteries, cables, maybe an EOD kit. And medics I know all keep a special bag on them with basically as much gear as an EMT would have off an ambulance. Anything else is just pack/panel. Or no panel at all especially if you're on a team and you're the point man or the cover. You're gonna be more reliant on the rest of your team than yourself.
thank you for the explanation, when i first discovered about these types of back panels, i always wondered how does the carrier reaches for their kept item behinds their back, i slowly and slowly comes up with speculation with : "oh maybe its for their mate to pick up maybe a flashbang or a grenade, or even an extra magazine", then it was actually true, thank you for the explanation :D !!

My solution was the crye zip panel pouch which compresses flat very easily. I throw a pack with minimalist straps like the Haley Strategic Flatpack over it if needed. The flatpack can also be molled on to a carrier too

I would love to buy some really cool things you guys have, but I can’t because it isn’t compatible. I hope at some point you guys realize that just because yours is better doesn’t mean people will buy it. It Has to check more than one box to be a viable product.
@@futurememeudontgetyet1202 What is weird is we have a bunch of preppers and LARPers talking about patrolling and their loadout like they are on active duty military service.

I mostly run with a haversack, but I’ve also run a DIY Alice frame with a music box also works just as well for carrying cargo, although whilst having a full on rucksack might be better off for both larger containers or cargo items, having individual panels, does make access and support much easier to deal with, that being said if I was in a similar position, it mostly depends primarily on the mission specifics but I would run a medium to small sized container pouch on the lower section of my plate carrier whilst having several utility and smaller pouches above the cargo pouch, for example things like additional food, first aid supplies, grenades and even two or more extra magazines for the person behind me if they need extra ammunition, other than that, it’s mostly individual choices really, that being said, it would be nice if there was a system where you could mount a small or medium sized bag onto your plate carrier, again I simply used two pieces of flat metal, bent one end do it hooks onto the mollee whist the other end is bent into a sort of hanging frame in which I mount my box onto so the weight essentially becomes one with the place carrier allowing the weight to be distributed even more so across my body
I like the Delta bag, however i need a bag that's a little bit bigger. Call it the Whiskey bag for medics in an austere environment. Additionally, an updated ALICE pack with MOLLE/PALS webbing, with no large permanent pockets where the Delta bag or a current M9 bag could ride piggyback for rural operations.
Agreed. I like beaver tail bags that you can shove the m9 aid bag in there. As a cav scout medic doing long range patrols and rucks I’d just always slide my aid bag in the top flap of my ruck.
It would be very beneficial to have a video on setting up kit for snipe/DMR/SPR stuff, there is a definite lack of content on this. Would like to see some solutions for the larger mags.
Make a pack with a dedicated solution for me to clip/unclip my own pack and get my own stuff. A load out supplement pack. Extra mags, batteries, power pack chargers, small rifle repair parts, breaching, change of socks, etc.
If you’re not a professional soldier I don’t see a need for a back panel. Even for an assault. Even if you’re a civilian and you have buddies who can access your back panel. You have more to worry about as a civilian than a professional soldier that is operating in a very specific manner, dedicated to a specific target. You have to be your own logistical support as a civilian, you can’t do that with a back panel.
Yes I look at my teams having a back panel. Like a rifleman or grenadier using one. AR/saws will have too much ammo for one and the team leader or above will be the one using the guy with the back pannel for kit
I run a water bladder and a us flag on my back plate bag that’s it. Everything else for anything I may need i run a small sling bag. If you become the breacher, medic, etc whatever you get designated as later on in a group you can throw into the small sling bag and when you need it sling it around to the front when needed and when not needed sling it back around to the back. Simple but effective and you can access it yourself at no more weight than a back panel or backpack and it stays on your person
I just purchased a defense mechanisms set up the rokhcondite rear bag can be easily flipped over your head so you can access it yourself love it all Rear panels should have that ability
Very informative video, I usually only have a hydration pouch with molle webbing, that I can attach other pouches to, if I am in a patrol type scenario, then I leave it slick, and carry a small patrol pack.
For all the ppl saying no need to add weight on the back of your plate carrier.. think about the way nods get mounted on a helmet, all the extra weight out front needs a counter balance to not cause major neck discomfort or injury....
I have the Ares Armor scout pack mounted with 4 straps I can undo one side and bring my pack to the front to mess with and put back into place when finished

Ja mein Pflegevater konnte mir so einiges erzählen. =
Would it be possible to put a beaver tail on the lower GP pouch, so that it can fit a gas mask? If a lot of people are asking about it, then it seems like it might be worth it.
As a Brit, I would like to know what you think of the “Warrior Assault Systems” Back panel & gear in general ? We don’t have the market size or options here &, the cost for good USA made gear is through the roof ! especially after the import duty. Thanks guys. All the best.
The US has subsidized your import duties that go towards your social programs for decades... while the US consumer got hit with the full force of the UK and europe's full cost and duties. It is about time that you all learn that other people shouldn't have to pay for stuff that you get just because you cry about it.
To be honest, I don't see that much use for this. You can just use small backpack/bladder with some webbing outside for gear that really need to be accessed quick by team. I'm not saying there's no use for this, but it's extremely specific and you could just use regular backpack or otherwise improvise with nearly same results. Also backpack is more versatile in all aspects. In fact, many plate carriers have some webbing at the back anyways. Again, making this gear extremely specific even in military.
If you are solo like I am. I need a back panel that is user/wearer accessible for myself for extra gear mags, food, etc. as needed. A back panel in my opinion, y'all should make a back panel, that is based to primarily accessible by the wearer, and should not cost a fortune so us poor's can afford them as well

I get where you’re coming from, you guys wanted your panel to be better. But by making it so different you’re making it to where no one who’s bought into any other system can use your stuff. I will not be buying a separate carrier just to use your back panel. I really like the carrier I already have I think it’s superior to your carrier which is why I got the one I have.
I would love to buy some really cool things you guys have, but I can’t because it isn’t compatible.
I hope at some point you guys realize that just because yours is better doesn’t mean people will buy it. It Has to check more than one box to be a viable product.
what's weird is that they claim non-standard zipper lenght is for stability, but the pannel has pushbutton loops around the top of it stabilizing it.
I completely agree and will be re-commenting this message so it can hopefully get more light. Such a good comment to go to waste
*wrong spot*
@@futurememeudontgetyet1202 What is weird is we have a bunch of preppers and LARPers talking about patrolling and their loadout like they are on active duty military service.
Haven’t watched the full thing yet but I have a feeling it’s gonna end with “choose whichever fits your situation” or something like that.
100% of videos that say they will decide which is best will never decide which is best

obviously pick the coolest looking one
3:39 is there a new type of cummerbound in this lv119 plate carrier?
cummerbound isnt a word.
thank you guys for exellent work. please keep up
Just got some cana water filters with your link. Keep the content up.
Where are you "running" this stuff? In your imagination?
@@thomgizziz no I actually do run this although it’s mostly just for airsoft
Great selection! I agree with all five
Lots of good info here, also, mind sharing what kind of halligan your using?
You guys have such great stuff ❤ and I love your videos
We will buy what we want bro
@@chillvibes_6872 I never said anything about you not buying what you want

Liked and subbed. Love the channel bros.
Thank you.
Team room video suggestion: CBRN kit considerations/building kit around gas masks and chem suits
Will y'all be doing a video on TUSC at DARC? Would love to see your perspective
Yeah where are you patrolling? Your parent's basement?
4:14 i was just going to make this point. Thank you
For all the ppl saying no need to add weight on the back of your plate carrier.. think about the way nods get mounted on a helmet, all the extra weight out front needs a counter balance to not cause major neck discomfort or injury....
Great video. Where can I buy all the charge sticks you're waving around....lol
I like the backpack because you can drop it easily if you need to back panels are for people working in groups
Could do Velcro for a back panel for the medical bag?
Spiritus.... It's the best
I have a plce yoke, depending on requirements I can have 0-4 10l rocket pouches above whatever I have on my belt.
“How do I access this stuff from my back panel”
Humans never cease to amaze
About 16 min in helped a lot. 😅
Thanks Adam
I have the Ares Armor scout pack mounted with 4 straps
I can undo one side and bring my pack to the front to mess with and put back into place when finished

This is a comment further down. I’d strongly recommend taking his advice 🇺🇸👍🏻 I’m all about being compatible with others products
When are you restocking multi cam black assault back panels? I’ve been waiting forever to get one :(
read my mind. keep it up gents
Make a mini assault pack with low profile backpack straps, like your own take on the Haley flatpack.

Thank you for the videos. I hope you don't get in trouble.
Ja mein Pflegevater konnte mir so einiges erzählen.
Belt
Buttpack
PlateCarrier - Chest Rig
(Takonka) Tasmanien Tiger Anfibia Gen 1

Literally every Spiritus video: "I'm probably going tob get in trouble for showing this..." 😂😂😂
When I think of using the back panels all can imagine was one transformer scene is the dessert ”LEFT CHEECK
LEFT CHEECK LEFT CHEECK” 😂
Could you make one of those back panels in AMCU? (Australian Multicam)
Would it be possible to put a beaver tail on the lower GP pouch, so that it can fit a gas mask? If a lot of people are asking about it, then it seems like it might be worth it.
More civilian load out and kit set up videos as well as perhaps some prepping/stockpile content.
I want to know more about that battery pack
TLDR is that back panel is for your team or for later and backback is for you and ASAP
AWESOME! 👍🙏
After hearing about that Galvion nerv centr I started looking into it but I can't find any pricing or anything for it. Is this a mil/le only item?
Spiritus Poncho release in the future?
How about full body armor and plate carrier ?
To be honest, I don't see that much use for this. You can just use small backpack/bladder with some webbing outside for gear that really need to be accessed quick by team.
I'm not saying there's no use for this, but it's extremely specific and you could just use regular backpack or otherwise improvise with nearly same results. Also backpack is more versatile in all aspects. In fact, many plate carriers have some webbing at the back anyways. Again, making this gear extremely specific even in military.
Do a CBRN team room
What's you and your teams opinion on Shaw concepts back panel
If you are solo like I am. I need a back panel that is user/wearer accessible for myself for extra gear mags, food, etc. as needed. A back panel in my opinion, y'all should make a back panel, that is based to primarily accessible by the wearer, and should not cost a fortune so us poor's can afford them as well
Depends on your mission
Good stuff
what bag is that to the right in the thumbnail?
Great vid
