I saw this car at MCACN in 2019 pictures and video can't do it justice, it is absolutely perfect and perfect rendition of the phantasm 2 car..I just read about it in mcg and was so excited to see this video the attention to detail and commitment to making this car turn out this amazing has to be acknowledged, well done! And thank you for posting!

Hey there, thank you so much! It’s funny how an idea can slowly turn into something like this overtime. So much went into building this car and it was worth the wait. Glad you got to see it in person! If you happen to be going to the nationals in Carlisle I’m going to have the car there for sure. The magazine feature was so cool, I still have a copy yet though ha ha.

@@RudysWorldOfficial everything that went into building the car paid off! You nailed it lol things like the correct turned down exhaust, Remington tires, sole driver's side mirror, tail panel treatment..really take the car to another level because they set it apart and show it is a perfect rendition of the phantasm 2 car....I will be at Carlisle, I haven't missed it once since '97 so hopefully see you and the cuda there! Thanks again

No complaints here. The 71 Cuda is possibly the coolest car ever built. Your Phantasm recreation gives it an even cooler image. I never thought I would see a Phantasm recreation as good as yours.Great story and video.

Your car is absolutely beautiful it is definitely the best of the best I've been a painter for over 45 years and you are right about the single stage paint over base coat ive use dupont all Mt life and in the 80s they had a acrylic enamel called centari and the code was 99A that was the blackest black there ever was and me and my brother worked for the same bodyshop as a team and we put that paint on so many cars I had a 79 Z28 that was black and my brother had a 74 chevy Silverado that we painted 99a and so many people brought there cars to use we were known as the brothers that paint black the best...lol it was all in the sanding and knowing how to polish black the right way. Great car my favorite mopar

Never heard of the movie series but love your car. I'm not a resto kind of guy and prefer modified hot rodded cars. I turned 18 in 1974 and this car would have been something a guy with some money would have built in the mid to late '70s. Back then we built what we could get our hands on and didn't care about originality, In fact, a big insult was telling somebody there car was a stocker.
Do you know where the movie cars are and who owns them, if they are even still around?

I'm so sorry its taken me so long to view this video buddy, you have a stunning car and your obsession has paid off big time, she sits so well and I love the how she sits so flat and poker straight from her nose through those beautiful hips and round to her tail, I am so jealous buddy but your attention to detail has worked so well. That honestly is a bottomless black finish and fantastic touch with the cast autographs on the glove box. I believe you spent more time doing this than the origional props department did on the car they used in the movie. I understand now why you want the trans am to drive about in, you need to keep this for special occasions. Seriously well done buddy 👏
