@patrickmcdonald3427 Good stuff! And Mike, at 13 years old, wrenches on that 'Cuda.. (and sometimes drives it) which brings up the hearse chase scene "There's nobody driving!" Jody.. "I'm gonna get that bastard" and unloading the shotgun on the hearse.. and we can't forget the Fly! Too many good scenes! I can never watch this movie too much, got it on DVD

@@charlessullivan1504 wasn't that the black car with the black billboards, louvers and shaker hood? Sort of a conglomerate of all the phantasm cars, I'm talking about the car from the first movie only
At the beginning of my less than illustrious film career I worked with Daryn Okada (Nomad Riders) and Roberto Quezada (Frozen Scream) both who worked on Phantasm. Daryn actually went to to become President of the American Society of Cinematographers. They had amusing stories to tell about the Phantasm shoot. Sorry Mark that I had to bring up THAT(not so beloved) name.
Hey Mark, I used to own a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport, 198 six, starsky n hutch paint scheme, 3 speed on the floor. Had a 225 six, blue printed, balanced , 40 thousand over with titanium parts inside. The only problem was it had a single barrel for which the engine builder wanted to put on a six-pack and the hood to have the six-pack scoop. Ran out of money. Would love to know what it would be to get this built? Been watching the show since 2015. I even had a '70 cuda, 318, posi rear w/slap stick. Miss that also but really miss my sport. Thanx, Stu
Best part of the movie. 340 and a Thermoquad. I loved the car, but I read that they had a lot of issues with it, electrical, etc. I seen a 67 Camaro the other day that had the rear wells like the movie car. The owner said he just decided to leave them on since they did a good job. If not, he would have had it put back to stock.
Mark is just trying to have a little fun with his employees/ family u dont see very many other owers/ bosses do anything for or with employees during any holidays ..i would work for mark looks like cool guy to work with/for
HEY MARK! I would love to see an episode (s) based on restoration of a mid 70s Chrysler Squad. Ex State Patrol type of car, (not another Bluesmobile) maybe a Polara, Gran Fury, Monaco, Satellite, etc, from 74 thru 77. 440 cop motor, cop tranny, cop brakes, cooling, suspension, exhaust and electrics... Just a suggestion, been watching your show from day 1, I sure would love to see you guys do up a 70s MoPar Squad! Cheers!
The first thing I would have said to Michael Baldwin would have been "BOOOOOOYYYYY!" 😂 If you're a true Phantasm fan then you know. And if I had that awesome Cuda I would have a chrome ball hanging from the rear view mirror and a very light ghost image of a flying auto embalmer ball with the forks out going down the side of the car. That 71 Cuda is one of my dream cars along with a 1970 SS El Camino to replace the one I had and lost when I was 18. If I ever got either of those cars I would die a very happy man.
Im with you. The over the top resto stuff drives me nuts. I worked for a guy who was "oem insane". If an upgrade or change makes the product better it should be done. Leave the Skittles paint marks off.
For good Halloween music, how about "The Haunted Organ" by Vic Mizzy. It was used in the movie "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken". That's the scene where the organ plays itself. It goes good with the Dracula theme.
I've tried so many times to watch an episode of this show. I quit, can't do it. Wanted to see the "Phantasm" cuda and ended up with a click-bait car and 20 minutes of penis wrinkle telling how he walks on water. He must be paying his people mad money to stay around or this is just his show personna. So just remember Mark, you're the one calling it the "Phantasm" cuda. When Consarelli and Baldwin started pointing out the differences they let you off easy. Next you'll have the "Vanishing Point" Challenger. You know, the one they show after hit. (wink wink)
Mark "worm man" is definably a dusche, and not even remotely as intelligent or talented as he would like to think he is or lead others to believe, his "expert" Hemi engine assembly was a complete joke and showed the world and pro engine builders how much he doesn't know
I got some parts off a 68 coronet 500 2drht got the back seat out of it it was a white car black vinyl top white pearl seats and door panels with black carpet and dash it was a 383/727
Jim Morrison could never have driven his van to van morrisons house, because Jim only ever owned ONE car, the famous "BLUE LADY" 1967 shelby gt 500 as is featured in the music video on youtube for "gloria" geesh Mark, you know a lot about mopars, but nothing about fords or rock history. ("Blue Lady" still M.I.A., presumed scrapped after Jim got in an accident with her).

got 5 minutes in and realized the only "tribute" to the Phantasm car is the paint color. so every Firebird with the hood bird is a Bandit tribute. cool.
I have to agree with the director and the actor it's not a true Phantasm tribute car I would have not even showed showed it claiming that it was. It's on the same level as the 1966 batmobile tribute car painted blue instead of black same body style but general outer appearance is all wrong.😮😮😮😮😮
So you would think that in Mark's attention to detail he would have placed the proper pinstriping on the car. But No, he left it totally off. That disappointed me.
Phantasm. If it doesn't scare 'ya, you're already dead.
I loved those movies back in the day. Very unusual story line

The Tall Man undertaker, soundtrack, barrels, and the black Cuda!
