Glad for your recent pickup of another 73 Frankenstein . Happy it is in your hands for the best possible restoration. If you are taking a vote, none of us Rudites out here would hold it against you if you did give the mask a few puffs of that baby blue around the eyes and a touch of the skin color on the nose. I know the original aging is important , but it’s moment to restore is now and future fans will be glad you did this .

The Theta mask almost looks exactly like part 8 Jason Voorhese when he's in the sewer.

I would definitely shoot an email to James Rolfe over at Cinemassacre, he has extensive horror knowledge especially 50s 60s and 70s b movies, i'm willing to bet this is from some 90s indie splatter type crap, the cadaver scalp worries me a little tho, hopefully it isn't from some german snuff thing, plaster is an incredibly strange and stupid thing to use for a prop so i'm also worried it's a life mask of the cadaver, plaster is common for casting life masks, perhaps that scalp wasn't obtained officially and it's a replica of the woman

Rudy you gott compile all your restorations into a playlist, I rewatch the ones i can find constantly bc i thought they were the only ones you've done, I had no idea there was a video of you fixing up that Frank, worried how many other restorations I haven't seen because they're not titled as such so I can't search for em, I even often rewatch the hot water restoration you did for the house of masks all those years ago

I was curious how many tots and ghoulish productions masks you own? I know you focus on the classics, just wondering if you own many of the more modern companies if not is it because of the quality of the latex? I know tots is 50/50 they say with fillers in it, just curious

Just realized the one you ordered was the one you took out after the story. Thought the other one had crazy detail. The worn out look in a way just gives it more character. So sick! 😅

Venezuelans gangs kicking black people out of their own property in Aurora CO. People with road rage committing murder. The list goes on. It’s a cruel world. That said, Frankenstein is my favorite monster. Much as I like Dracula. Such an awesome mask! Love the blue under the eyes and the hands really bring it home.

Congrats on that badass Karlof Rudy but for me the Rotten Vampire steals the episode, I used to look art that masks all the time in Fangoria when I was a kid that thing is in great condition. You can see what a great sculptor and designer Ed is he was always thinking about how to sculpt things for easier molding, that's why the teeth are pointed forward like that, they won't get hung up in the mold when he de molds and when the latex masks were pulled.

I like the on screen movie correction. It is very cool to see close ups of those masks. I never get tired of learning the history of these masks. Such a great collection. It would be so cool to make some monster animatronics with some of those masks. For example, animations for a Frankenstein Monster could be sound effects and arms that rise up. It would still be cool to make some static bodies for your monster masks.

Hey Rudy that was one of the best videos to date, awesome man. It was so cool to have a like minded , enthusiastic guest there to be just as I would in your place...in awe like a kid in a candy store you just don't know where to look first. And because he was randomly looking and picking stuff out and you were swinging the camera around I saw soooo many cool pieces I hadn't seen before. Soooo many. Too many to mention. I would love to see that Jordi long face up close. How fucking cool. Also the trick shop, man the memories. I wa born in 72 and around 1980 such a trick shop opened near me called the Magic shop and boy was it. I bought all my masks in there now they ranged between £10.00 and £40.00 UK pounds. That was a lot then for my dad to buy me. I had chopped off hands, skulls and monster hands. The 79 King Kong,Karloff Frank, Chaney Wolfman Chewbacca and more. All those beautiful masks perished because I was a kid and didn't know how to care for them. I had so many of those things you have. The key ring skeletons, the hanging rubber and jointed cardboard skeletons. That flat glow in the dark one on the black card and one of those rubber cut fingers. Dog shit and human puke, fake biscuits and the chewing gum. The itch powder etc. great times. I used to make and sell shrunken heads on eBay too. Shame I don't have Instagram only FB or id send you some photos of the heads.

Before the internet..yeah cstologs were wore out..i would dream....even as a kid the sears wishbook i would look at all year..i remember they had a liwride4 shwin style bike i neber got but stsred st for years

I had a large comic book from the 70s.. Had a light weight cardboard cover. Can't remember the title or what was on the cover. Just some cool stories in it and great artwork. One story I think was called Widow's Walk. About a ship captain that went to sea in his old sailing ship. His wife walking on the widow's walk on the top of the house watching for him. I don't remember why but at the end she cursed him to not comeback from the sea. Then as his ship was coming in that she could see it, lightening struck it and it sunk. Then one day as she was on the widow's walk she was really old and was about to die. Then she says her husband's name and said he could finally come back from the sea. And at the time she died the people around watching said, "Look out at the sea" . And his sunken sailing ship comes up from the bottom of the sea, Him at the wheel all covered with sea weed. - Another one about a sculptor. Sculpting two large gargoyles. I don't remember the story but, at the end the gargoyles came to life and flew off with him in their claws.

My first car was a 76 New Yorker Brougham. It was 10 years old with 110k miles. Owned by a lawyer who took extremely good care of it. I bought it for $500. Under the driver's seat I discovered a cool collection of 8-track tapes which as great because most places no longer sold 8-tracks. Loved that car!! Just wish that teenage actually knew how great of a car she had. Cool feature (at least for a teenager) was that the front seats when fully forwarded and reclined all the way back made a very comfortable full sized bed.

Some gas stations should bring back the service guys to pump your gas, clean your windshields, check your oil, and tire pressure. The Victim is a work if art. Love those old magazines. I always like to be able to hold things rather than have everything digital, that's why I still collect records, cds, and dvds. It is nice to see the inside of those classic magazines by someone so knowledgeable.
