This is a wonderful video. Thank you so much. I'm 66 years old, never had much luck with R/C model airplanes in my teens and now enjoy flying very inexpensive (non-camera) LOS drones. I enjoy watching the drone as if it were a model airplane. I have yet to purchase and try an FPV drone. This video is so very informative and also most entertaining to watch. In all of the drone videos I've seen on UA-cam, yours is the very first that recommends learning by LOS first, before trying to fly with the goggles. For me, knowing myself, that would be best. However, another viewer named 7passu commented how he or she found LOS more difficult and when they tried the goggles, they found it much easier - which adds to the interest in all of this. Different people find different aspects of the hobby which suit them the best. Putting everyone's ideas and commments together adds to the the richness of the experience and we can learn and try new things from each other's ideas. Thank you very much again for bringing all of your knowledge and experience to us. Liked and subscribed. Best wishes!
Great video, clear and understandable voice ! Tons of information and cool flight demonstration ! I have 3 DJI drones and want to do some FPV flying. So I’ve been watching all the fpv videos I can. Always come back to your videos, that are helping me make a decision. BTW great kids you have, gotta love the kids hanging out with dad, I remember those days .
LOS was always harder for me with a drone cause of the controls changing depending on direction and depth perception. First time I put goggles on I took off with ease and never went back. much easier
Hi Justin, many thanks for the review! I am seriously considering getting this setup but am just wondering if you can recommend some additional batteries to get? Thanks mate 👍🏻
Hey great review! Thanks for the video. I'm trying to get myself into the fpv world and your videos are helping a lot on making a good choice for the first drone kit to buy. I was wondering if the radio in this kit would also be usable for simulators as you don't mention this in the video, when on other reviews you specified that. Thank you!
Great video. I am looking to get in FPV cine drones. Not sure if I should Invest in the new TinyGo v1.3 (4k, analog, ELRS) or the TinyHawk III Plus freestyle HD Is it worth it to invest in HD at this level? Can any cameras be added to the TinyHawk Freestyle for 4k video? Thanks again for the great channel and going into the level of detail and relevance that many others don't.
Can someone please post the goggle opening dimensions. I need to determine if my glasses will fit!! Are there higher capacity batteries available that will work with the included charger ? And as always another informative review....thanks Jason for all you do to help us noobs.
How many hours did you sim for? I’m on about 3 hours and can control it decently. Still crash a lot though which is why this smaller/protected drone is attractive
Thanks a lot for the review. I’m thinking about getting this kit. Can we use this kit goggles with another HDzero system also? I would like to upgrade the quad in the future with the same goggles.
Got a question about the tinyhawk 3 vs. 3 plus... I had issues (older eyes) with the v3 goggles as I couldn't bring them out far enough so was blurry to me... Does the 3 plus goggles do anything to help this ? - much thanks....
What flight time can you get from one LiPo ? In your clips the flight time seemed to be less than two minutes. I also noticed that the goggles image had a lot of pixels flickering. Is that a HD Zero issue as I haven't noticed anything like that on my "old" analogue version of the Tinyhawk III.
@@dronecamps whut? Maybe you misread the question, but you shouldnt stop at 3.8!. 3.2V in flight is where you should end it, batteries should recover to 3.5-ish after disarming.
I just can't recommend a ready to fly kit like this with goggles that have so many performance and possibly vision issues depending on the person wearing it. The radio and whoop is cool though

If/when you buy an FPV drone kit, don’t forget to plug your controller into a computer and run a drone simulator for many many hours first 😂

Heck yeah. All about the time with Dad. Memories!!!
yea brand new to fpv i have been watching so many of your videos. you have been very helpful so far. thanks.
Glad you’re soaking up the info Robert! I’m glad you’re taking this journey

When I learned, I just started with acro mode and kept trying until I could do it. Is that uncommon?did I make it hard on myself?
Can you please tell me the difference between emax tinyhawk 3 and emax tinyhawk 3 plus analog version?
Good Video! hey does beginner/ Angle/ Stability mode also have "Hold Altitude"?

Can you please compare this to the sub250 whoopfly16?
Nice review looking at getting this one for the winter. I have a DJI avata currently.
Great video man!👍👍
Glad you liked it
Is the interference on the feed in the final recorded video?

Can you leave the link to this in the comments
Is the plus version elrs? And does the e8 in this package bind to other elrs quads please?
I went full acro for my first flight because that's what I did on the sim. The flight went great

@@kez850 I did the sim for about 7 hours
@@projackson355 that’s awesome. Which sim do you prefer to use?
@kez850 I used tryp fpv sim for about 4 hours and then switched to drl sim because of all the different maps they have
Been thinking of getting this to do some follow footage of my planes, what's the range like?
What about non hd. Is analog tiny hawk 3 still good or is their better options
Better that the Sub 250 Whoop RTF kit?
@@jimmyfrattalone8224 you ever figure that out? I’m just getting in

do you know if you can use this quad kit with other HD zero quads. Just don't want to have to rebuy everything
Can you record your video and post it with this model?
So can i charge 1s batteries all the way to 4.35? I thought the max was 4.20
After a couple of months, how would you rate it, or would you still recommend.
Is still 4.5 stars out of five and yes it is still doing well. And I still recommend it to beginner pilots for their very first set up.
Does this one support 2s like the TH2 did?

How are they sold out already
What’s the minimal voltage where you should stop the flight on a 1s like that?
3.8v

My question is how do the ESCs hold up on the AIO?
Fine. Most quads have 4in1 escs now
If you crash a drone, how hard does the crash need to be for it to break?
Depends on what you hit. Lighter ones like this are harder to break

Definitely thinking about getting that as a first drone for myself.
Now that they’re HD fpv it’s totally worth it
